Abstract

The objectives of this study are to know (1) the influence of carrier guidance toward students’ working readiness, (2) carrier guidance, and (3) students’ working readiness. The type of this study was aex post facto. The sample was taken by using Slovin. Data collection technique used questionnaire to know carrier guidance and students’ working readiness. The validity test used Product Moment and reliability used Cronbach Alpha. Data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Product Moment that was started by normality and linearity test. This study shows that: (1) there was a positive and significant influence of carrier guidance toward students’ working readiness and carrier guidance gave a contribution toward students’ working readiness 51.3% while 48.7% was influenced by other factors, (2) carrier guidance was in fair category, and (3) students’ working readiness was in fair category. Key words: carrier guidance, working readiness

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to know the correlation betweennutrition knowledge toward attitude of consuming health foods, nutrition knowledge, and attitude of consuming health foods. The type of this study was a ex-post fact. The sample was taken by using Isaac and Michael.Data collection technique used questionnaire. The validity test used Product Moment and reliability used Cronbach Alpha.Data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Product Moment that was started by normality and linearity test. This study shows that: there was a positive and significant correlationbetweennutrition knowledge toward attitude of consuming health foods and nutrition knowledgegave a contribution toward attitude of consuming health foods40.4% while 59.6% was correlationd by other factors,nutrition knowledge was in fair category, andattitude of consuming health foods was in fair category. Key words: nutrition knowledge, attitude of consuming health foods

Abstract

This study aimed to know the description of learning difficulties of cooking continental foods and learning achievement and to know the influence of learning difficulties of cooking continental foods and learning achievement of continental food management subject. The type of the study was ex-post facto. Data collection methods used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis methods used a qualitative analysis and hypothesis testing by using correlation product moment that was started by normality and linearity test.  Based on the result of hypothesis analysis, the score of robs was 0.603 > 0.235. It could be stated there was a negative influence of learning difficulties of cooking continental foods and learning achievement of continental food management subject. it means that the higher difficulty, so the lower learning achievement of continental food management subject. This study shows that learning difficulties of cooking continental foods was in enough category with the percentage 72.46% and learning achievement was in enough category with the percentage 78.26%. The determinant coefficient (R2) was 0.364, it means that parents’ income gave contribution for about 36.4%. Key words: learning difficulties, learning achievement

Abstract

The objectives of the study were to determine (1) the influence of family income and food intake on the nutritional status of children, (2) family income level on nutritional status of children, (3) food intake on child nutritional status, (4) description of income level of family, and nutritional status. The type of research is ex-post facto. Sampling using propotional random sampling. Data collection methods are questionnaire, anthropometry, food recall and food frequency. Instruments tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using descriptive and correlational analysis. The result of research showed that positive and significant effect of income and food intake on child nutritional status, Freg = 6,053> Ftabel = 3,17, (2) family income level to child nutrition status, rcount 0,288> rtabel = 0,259, (3) food intake on nutritional status, rcount = 0,324> rtabel = 0,259; (4) The level of family income, food intake, and nutritional status in sufficient category.Keywords: income level, food intake, nutritional status.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the influence of the use of internet toward learning achievement of fashion design, the use of internet, and  learning achievement of fashion design. This study was ex-post, facto.Student research subjects SMK N 4 Yogyakarta. Data colleting methods used questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzing methods used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Product Moment that was started by normality and linearity test.  This study shows that the use of internet was in enough category with the percentage 64.29% and learning achievement of fashion design was in high category with relative frequency 62.86%. Based on the result of Product Moment, the score of rxy was 0,518. The score of r table in the significant level 5% for total respondents 70 was 0.235 (rxy 0,518 > r table 0,235). It could be stated there was a positive and significant influence of the use of internet toward learning achievement of fashion design. The determinant coefficient (R2) was 0.268, it means that the use of internet gave contribution for about 26.8%, while 73.2% was influenced by other factors  Key words: the use of internet, learning achievement of fashion design.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know (1) the relationship of the utilization of the practice facility with the learning achievement of the fashion industry, (2) the utilization of the practice facility, and (3) the learning achievement of the industrial clothing making. This study includedex post facto research. The sampling technique used randomly with sample of 66 respondents. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation methods. Data is tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques and product moment correlation analysis techniques. The results is a positive and significant relationship between the utilization of practical facilities with learning achievements of industrial fashion making. The contribution of the utilization of practice facilities to the learning achievement of industrial fashion is 32.5%, while the remaining 67.5% is not discussed in this study. Keywords: utilization of practice facility, learning achievement of fashion industry

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know: Internal Factors and External Factors that affect the basic learning outcomes of sewing technology. The population of the study were the students of X class of fashion in SMK Negeri 1 Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta, which numbered 128 students from 4 classes. This study included is quantitative descriptive research. Technique of sampling usingproportional random sampling with amount of sample 74 student. The data collection technique used questionnaire and tested to 30 students outside the sample but still in one population. Data tested the validity, reliability and data analysis techniques product moment correlation. The results showed that the factors that influence the basic learning outcomes of technology sewing X class students in fashion majors most of the respondents in the category enough. Based on these data, the factors that influence the basic learning result of sewing technology are internal factor with 52,6%.Keywords: the factors that influence the learning outcomes.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to know (1) the influence of parent’s role toward independence attitude, (2) parent’s role, and (3) independence attitude. The type of this study was a cross sectional. The sample was taken by using proportional random sampling. Data collection technique used questionnaire. The validity test used Product Moment and reliability used Cronbach Alpha. Data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Product Moment that was started by normality and linearity test. This study shows that: (1) there was a positive and significant influence of parent’s role toward independence attitude and parent’s role gave a contribution toward independence attitude 34.3% while 65.7% was influenced by other factors, (2) parent’s role was in fair category, and (3) independence attitude was in fair category. Key words: parent’s role, independence attitude

Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the level of understanding of fashion trends of students of fashion class XI  SMK Karya Rini Yogyakarta. The type of research is descriptive. Technique of collecting data using questionnaire method. The results showed the understanding of Fashion Trend students in sufficient categories with a relative frequency of 47.06%. The ability of students to translate into the category sufficient, with the relative frequency of 58.83%, it’s meaning that students have the ability to translate a good enough, Ability to interpretation included to the low category with a relative frequency of 47.05%. Students have a poor ability to interpret fashion trends; And the ability to extrapolate is included in sufficient categories with a relative frequency of 44.12%. The ability of students to see what is predicted in the fashion trend is quite good. Key words: Understanding, Trend Fashion

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of peers in their study result in making and serving Indonesian foods, peers, and the study result of making and serving indonesian foods. This study is  ex-post facto research and sample research  used Isaac and Michael. The sample was from 51 students. Data collection procedure used questionnaire and documentation method. The validity used correlation Product Moment and the reliability used Cronbach’s Alpha. Data techniques analysis used descriptive analysis and hypothesis test used Product Moment which began with normaly and linieritas test. The result of this study; positive influence of peers in their study result in making and serving Indonesian foods and the contribution of peers of their study result in making and serving Indonesian foods were 22,1%, and the rest 77,9% was influenced by other factors; peers was in sufficient category; and the result of making and serving Indonesian foods was in the sufficient category. Key words: Peers, Study Result
