Quality of delivery of services to the level of customer loyalty among the less well used by customers Pos Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine effect of the use of e-mail and Postal Service Quality (e-mail) to the post of customer loyalty;This research method using the method of verification or causality methods to examine the relationship between variables. The population sample of 200 people with 133 people. Research Batam attractions post office to post office customer analytics unit. The data was obtained using a questionnaire and interviewed staff and leadership post office. Analysis Method regersi use the liner regression.The use of e-mail services and quality of service delivery affect the level of customer loyalty simultaneously at Pos Indonesia. The post office in Batam Centre is less attention to the balance of services offered Pos Indonesia to the customer so that e - mail to the Loyalty influential but less than optimal.Keywords: e - Pos, service quality, and loyalty.

Isu ataupun permasalahan yang berkenaan dengan kualitas pengajaran dan pembelajaran pada tingkat Universitas telah lama muncul dari tahun ke tahun. Para pelaku pendidik, Instruktur, bahkan staf administrasi Universitas telah berupaya menemukan cara ataupun alternatif dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang efektif. Salah satu dari bentuk upaya tersebut adalah dengan penerapan Tekhnologi melalui sistem on-line yang dapat membantu para pelaku pendidik dalam hal ini tenaga pengajar serta mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan mutu pengajaran dan pembelajaran yg berbasis Tekhnologi .Tulisan ini mencoba untuk membuka wawasan tentang penggunaan Tekhnologi serta manfaat yg bisa didapatkan sebagai bagian media yg inovatif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang berkualitas pada tingkat universitas. Alasan yg mendasar adalah penggunaan tekhnologi yg dapat mempermudah para pendidik dalam mentransfer ilmu di berbagai hal. Diantara nya adalah dalam sistem penilaian hasil kerja mahasiswa, merancang serta mengembangkan materi ajar. Sistem ini tentu saja juga dapat mempermudah mahasiswa dalam menciptakan pembelajar yg lebih aktif. Namun dalam implementasinya tentu saja penggunaan sistem ini sering mengalami hambatan dan permasalahan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan penelitian lanjut guna mendapatkan solusi yang tepat.Kata Kunci : Teknologi, Promosi, Belajar dan Mengajar

Jambi is one of the central of estate crop productions in Indonesia. In 2006, the Minister of Agriculture issued the Regulation about Revitalization Program. Revitalization Program is an effort to accelerate the development of smallholders through expansion, renovation and rehabilitation of tree crops. Along with minister of agriculture policy, the Jambi province activities focused on the development commodity coconut. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that affect the area, production, productivity, commodity prices and export in the Jambi province, and to analyze the impact of development of coconut on the economy of Jambi province. This study uses secondary data is structured as pooled annual data on nine districts in Jambi province, starting 2000 until 2009. The result of this study shows the expansion of coconut can improve the economy of Jambi.Keywords: Econometric Model, Coconut, Jambi Province

The teacher is an array of values, wisdom, knowledge and skills from the previous generation to a generation later. A teacher who has a high professionalism are required to have adequate competence in carrying out its work. In accordance with Act No. 2 of 2005 on teachers and professors, that teachers should have the competence, namely: 1)Competence pedagogik, the ability of the hussy mastery learning materials widely and in depth which include;(a) the concept, structure and methods of science/technology/art teaching material with coherent; (b) the material taught in the school curriculum; (c) the relationship between the concepts of related subjects; (d) application of scientific concepts in everyday life; and (e) competition in a professional manner in the global context while preserving values and national culture.2)personality competence is the ability of personality include; steady, stable, mature, wise and thoughtful, authoritative, noble character, became an example for the students and the community, evaluate its own performance and develop themselves continuously. 3)Professional Competence, which is the ability of the mastery learning materials widely and in depth which include;(a) the concept, structure, and method of science/technology/art overshadowing/coherent with learning materials; (b) the material taught in the school curriculum; (c) the relationship between the concepts of related subjects; (d) application of scientific concepts in everyday life; and (e) competition in a professional manner in the global context while preserving national culture and values.4)Social Competence that is the ability of educators as part of the community to: (a) communicating and interpreting; (b) the use of information and communication technology functionally; (c) mix effectively with fellow learners, educators, classrooms, parent/guardian learners; and (d) hanging out in manners with the surrounding communities.Keyword : Teacher, Competence, Professional

Siamese catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) is one of the leading freshwater fish introductions from Thailand's rapid development of aquaculture in Indonesia. Improved catfish aquaculture Siamese is characterized by the increasing number of areas such as aquaculture ponds and cages, and the demand for seed production. Based on the reports of farmers and monitoring BBAT Jambi on pangasius farming areas in Jambi are decreasing trend Siamese catfish seed quality, ie seeds with slow growth leading to low quality of seeds produced. To reduce this required moms potential of regional development in Indonesia Siamese catfish that will be used as the basis to produce the parent stem excel. Therefore necessary to test the performance of siamese catfish growth of some populations in Indonesia as a first step to get potential moms in Indonesia. Research conducted at the Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture Jambi during January-March 2011. Test performance against population growth Siamese catfish seed from 7 regions in Indonesia, Jambi, Riau, Lampung, Subang, Bogor, Bekasi and South Kalimantan. Hapa enlargement minimum size 3x2x1, 5 m3 rearing ponds installed in the size of 600 m2 with a water depth of 2 meters. Experimental design is CRD (completely randomized design) with the treatment of fish populations and three replications. Parameters observed were specific daily growth (SGR), survival (survival rate), feed conversion ratio (FCR), water quality, and the level of abnormality. The results showed that the test can peformance growth best in four populations: a population of Lampung, Subang, Riau and South Kalimantan.Keywords: Pangasianodon hypophthalmus, growth, survival, feed conversion

Melalui studi literatur, artikel ini menjabarkan tentang konsep, karakteristik, tipe dan kriteria tugas pedagogik, tujuan maupun prinsip-prinsip pengajaran bahasa berbasis tugas. Di samping itu, dalam merancang pengajaran berbasis tugas ini semestinya mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi kelancaran proses belajar-mengajar.Kata kunci: task-based language teaching, pedagogic task, communicative goal, second language learners

The aim of the research is to find out the number of room occupants, average tariff per room, and deflator PDRB that become the factors determining tax revenue of hotels in Jambi City. The research was a descriptive study. The methods of obtaining the data were observation and library research. The data were secondary data of time series. They were analyzed by using regression analysis. The results reveal that the number of hotel visitors staying and using hotel facilities with average payment and tariff per room has a significant influence on hotel tax revenue. On the other hand, deflator PDRB dies not have a significant influence on hotel tax revenue in Jambi City.Keyword : Revenue, Tax, Hotel

As for the purpose of trading system in agricultural research activities are: (1) Identify the formation of channel trading system of smallholder rubber in Jambi province. (2) Knowing the achievement of operational efficiency in the trading system of smallholder rubber in Jambi province. (3) Analyze the market integration occurs in the trading system of smallholder rubber in Jambi province. Number of samples intermediary merchants at least 50 percent in each intermediate level ie village traders and wholesalers districts / counties. Quantitative analysis is used to assess the operational efficiency of rubber covering margin trading system trading system, the analysis section rubber prices received by farmers (farmer's share), the balance of benefit and cost analysis trading system institutions, and integration of the rubber market.Generally found three rubber trading system channels people are salauran I (farmers - rural traders - wholesalers - Crumb Rubber processing plant), channel II (farmers - traders village - processing plant), and channel III (farmers market - auction - factory Crumb Rubber processing). was oligopsoni with moderate to loose tightness levels. Operational efficiencies through the gum line auction market trading system in rural areas is higher than the traditional rubber trading system channels (intermediate traders rubber) based on differences in margin trading system, the prices received by farmers, and the balance of benefits and costs are taken institute rubber trading system. In the short term does not occur rubber market integration between farmers and the market rate or the rate of referral rubber processing plants, but in the long run market integration tends to be rubbery.Key word: Efficiency, Market, Rubber

PENGARUH KONSERVATISME LAPORAN KEUANGAN TERHADAP KOEFISIEN RESPON LABA Arna Suryani

This research examines earnings response coefficient (ERC) of companies applying conservatism and more optimistic accounting. Conservatism accounting practices are expected to affect companies’ ERC indirectly. Conservative accounting would influence earnings prediction power (Panman and Zhang, 2002). Then, earnings prediction power would influence ERC (Lipe, 1990).The population consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange during period of 2005-2010. Sample members of 91 companies are selected using purposive sampling method. Conservative accounting is proxied by earnings/stock return relation measure, earnings/accrual measure, and net asset measures (Watts, 2003).The result shows that companies which apply conservative accounting have weaker earnings prediction power than those which do not. Companies with conservative accounting would have fluctuated earnings and low prediction power of earnings.ERC of companies with conservative accounting are lower than those with more optimistic accounting. Applying conservative accounting would result in fluctuated earnings and lower earnings predictability which is less beneficial in predicting future earnings, thus ERC would be low.Keywords: conservative accounting, earnings prediction power, earning response coefficient

Motorcycle taxi is one of the areas of employment in the informal sector paratransit mode operating in Indonesia. Paratransit term applies to a small passenger vehicle that operates by pulling unofficial costs, and serve a number of places as an alternative to regular bus transportation service. Paratransit operates in the environment variable - fixed space (Jitney), or space-time variables fixed or variable - time range (taxi rides - including a motorcycle taxi call therein). Motorcycles motorcycle to be one type of transportation service is effective because it can be used any time, the service is quite extensive and relatively low cost. Motorcycle taxi is also a major transport for those living in the suburbs or in rural areas therefore transportation paratransit taxi.In this study, the income of a motorcycle in the district of the city of Jambi east jambi influenced by two variables, number of passengers and number of hours of work. Motorcycles motorcycle to be one type of transportation service is effective because it can be used any time, the service is quite extensive and relatively low cost. Motorcycle taxi is also a major transport for those living in the suburbs or in rural areas therefore transportation paratransit taxi.This study uses primary data analyzed by the method of observation to have data on the influence of the number of passengers and hours worked on a motorcycle revenue, In this study the entire study population is a motorcycle that is in the Eastern District Jambi city of Jambi , that as many as 743 people.The conclusion from this study showed variable X1 (number of passengers) and X2 (hours worked) can explain the changes in a motorcycle revenue by 54% and the number of passengers (X1) and hours worked (X2) is very significant effect on earnings handyman motorcycles with the F value is calculated 57 291 is greater than F-table value of 19.2. If the number of passengers increases a person then the income of Rp taxi ride. 7202.185, and if the hours worked increased 1 hour then a motorcycle revenue will increase by Rp. 2535, 868. Thus, to encourage increased motorcycle taxi driver in District of income East Jambi Jambi City should encourage an increase in the number of passengers with a better service strategy and condition of the vehicle a more vibrant.Keyword : Passengers, Hours of Work, Income
