Jambi city was categorized as a municipality (population 100,000 s / d 500,000), with an estimated waste generation of 2.75 liters / person / day. Based on the data of population, estimated waste generation is 470 902 inhabitants Jambi City x 2.75 liters / person / day = 1,294,981 liters / day equivalent to 1,295 m3 (equivalent to 518 tons / day).Jambi City Regional Regulation No.05 of 2007, has established a local work unit which services the cleanliness of parks and cemeteries. Among other main task is to carry out waste transportation services. Workers who work on waste transportation services amounted to 163 people.Observations in the field by taking 20 random respondents, the importance of the 14 respondents are not infected with Ascaris lumbricoides, while 5 respondents lumbricoides ascariasis worm infected. The use of personal protective equipment when transporting garbage effect on whether or not infected garbage workers in JambiKata kunci : APD, Sampah, Ascariasis Lumbricoides

Among the products that are withdrawn excise goods are goods products using raw materials alcohol ranging from 1% (one percent) to above 20% (twenty percent), such as beer and other beverages. While determining the amount of excise duty of a good product that contains alcohol is based on the provisions of the applicable law governing alcohol rates.Determination of alcohol excise rates there are direct from central government officials and some are issued by local government officials (local laws).In the city of Jambi was no withdrawal of excise duty on companies which produce beverages containing alcohol that is at PT. Efforts to establish the effectiveness of a leader lies solely on technical skills and debriefing dimensional conceptual skills. The personal skills become marginalized. Though the true effectiveness of managerial activities and their effects on organizational performance, highly dependent on the sensitivity of the leadership to use their personal skills. Personal skills include the ability to understand the behavior of individual and group behavior in the contribution to shaping the dynamics of the organization, the ability to modify behavior, the ability to understand and provide motivation, ability to understand the process of perception and creation of effective communication, the ability to understand the relation between the concept of power-political leadership in organization, the ability to understand the genealogy of conflict and negotiation, and the ability to construct an ideal organizational culture.Keyword : Decision, Organizational Behavior

Background: Scabiesis a contagious disease, initial observation indicates that patients with scabies are foundin Olak Kemang Health Center Area, Jambi City. Scabies in human could be affected by human factors, environmental and health servicesObjective : This study aimed to identify risk factor related to scabies incidence at Olak Kemang Health Center Area, Jambi CityMethod: This research was an analytic observational study, using a case-control study design. The variable measured wereage, education level, economic status, knowledge, personal hygiene, contact history with scabies patients, humidity and occupancy density. The study population were people that live in Olak Kemang area. There were 44 case sample in this study. As a control group, there were 44 people that is not asufferer of scabies in Olak Kemang Area taken randomly. Data were collected by questionnaire and processed by univariable analysis, bivariable analysis using Chi-square statistic test and multivariable analysis with logistic regression.Result : Research results showed that there was significant relationship as a risk factor between scabies incidence and age, education level, economic status, knowledge, personal hygiene, contact history with scabies patient and occupancy density. There was no relationship between scabies incidence and room humidity factor.Conclusion :There was are lationship between age, education level, economic status, knowledge, personal hygiene, contact history with scabies patient and occupancy density of scabies incident. There was no relationship between the incidence of scabies and room humidity factor.Keywords: Risk Factor, Scabies

Problems criminal acts of child abuse in public life have a major enough in the subject of official and the ordinary people, both under discussion among scientists, law enforcement, crime analysts and the public in general. Indeed even so, the perceived need for a specific discussion on this issue. With contribute ideas in order to understanding the problems of violence such as child abuse even further to provide input for future crime prevention efforts.A particularly violent acts such as torture committed against children as victims, when viewed from the positive aspects of the Indonesian criminal law, then such actions can be categorized as a criminal offense, because the positive Indonesian criminal law in addition to regulating the inter-individual interests also with the state as an institution that has function to protect every citizen, in this case someone who has been the victim of a crime. Basically to determine a person has committed a crime or not, it must meet the elements of a criminal offense, with the actions undertaken are prohibited by law and offenders who commit these crimes are held to criminal liability under criminal law.Keyword : Crime, Children and Criminal Justice System

The influence of leadership and employee performance in University of Batanghari Jambi should be adapted with necessary that must be filled and level of different necessary to every employee, so as different performances happens in achivement. The condition is the employee often came late for work, act like passive and positive to work, not on time for finishing the job and the half employee still exist to out from their assignment in office hours without legal information.The research method in used is descriptive method and verifikatif. The sample is total sampling as 80 person. Field The result from this research show that leadership and employee performance in University of Batanghari Jambi with good criteria. The empirical findings indicates that in order to improve employee performance, so part of rector should be considering the factors that employee performance affect, such as leadership. Since knowing the relationship affect used as reference for designing strategies to increase employee performance.keywords : leadership, performance, employee

The purpose of this study were (1) .To determine the influence of leadership style on employee performance of PT Inti Subur Indosawit Maro Sebo Ilir in Batanghari regency. (2) .To determine the influence of the work environment on employee performance PT.Inti Indosawit Fertile Maro Sebo Ilir in Batanghari regency. (3) .To determine the effect of leadership style and work environment to employees performance at PT.Inti Indosawit Fertile Maro Sebo Ilir in the district of Batanghari.Methods of data collection used a survey method was used to obtain information from respondents by using interview techniques and distribute a list of questions and by using a Likert scale measurement. The population in this study is covering all employees at PT. Subur Indosawit core Maro Sebo Ilir Batanghari regency. The number of 57 employees. Data analysis tool used is multiple regression method uses computer assistance through the program SPSS 20.0 for windows.Leadership Style analysis results showed positive and significant impact on the performance of employees at PT.Inti Indosawit Subur in Batanghari regency. The Background of this research is to know and to analize prediction of company bankruptcy of Telecommunication Industry in BEI periods 2007-2010 which focuses object are four companies which have all criteria in analysis by method Z-score Altman. As we know, the goal of company is not being bankrupt so that the company needed a method to predict the bankruptcy as soon as possible. One of the method is Z-Score Altman, this method used to analize financial statements. Goal this research is to know the potential of bankruptcy, rate of bankruptcy, and insolvensy ranking of Telecommunication Industry in BEI periods 2007-2010.Four companies taken as object is PT. XL Axiata, Tbk (eks PT. Excelcomindo, Tbk), PT. Mobile-8 Telecom, Tbk, PT. Indosat, Tbk and PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (PERSERO), Tbk is analyze by using financial statements taken away from by the year 2007 to 2010. After that calculated values of variable x1 to variable x5 and next calculated the value of each variable into Altman’s Formula to produce the score ( Z-Score). Determining the Z-Score with this categories :a) Z-Score < 1,20 are on potential bankruptcy categoryb) 1,20 < Z-Score < 2,90 are on grey area categoryc) Z-Score > 2,90 are on non bankruptcy companyKeywords : financial distress, bankruptcy, telecommunication industry.

The aim of this study examines the enforcement of the law against members of the police involved in the abuse of narcotics, by stressing first, how the investigation against members of the police who have been involved in the abuse of narcotics in the jurisdiction of Police Jambi, second, penalties / punishment imposed for police officers found guilty misuse of narcotics in the jurisdiction of Police Jambi. The results showed that the investigation into the crime of Narcotics for the individual members of the police involved in drug abuse conducted by investigators Provam Police. Then sanctions / hukumanyang imposed against members of Jambi Police found guilty of abuse of narcotics by petusan court has had permanent legal force, among others: the dismissal with respect (PTDH), the trial of the Code, and the delay of promotion.Keywords: Law Enforcement Against Police Members involved in drug abuse.

Education Ministry is to provide a broad autonomy in school institutions in the concept of school-based management (SBM). With the MBS school empowerment can be optimally oriented to the four aspects, namely to: improve the quality of education, equity, relevance, and efficiency of education providers. Structurally include: political commitment and policies of the central government (MONE) which is makro.Sedangkan formulation of the problem is: The extent to which the implementation of the program is reason to twelve (12) years in the District of Batang? How the Economic Impact of the development and evaluation of regional expenditure in the education sector development Against Batang District. To analyze the use of secondary data. Furthermore, the data is processed and analyzed descriptively. The first problem formulation will be answered by comparing the components of SPM both elementary school (SD) and high school (SMP) and High School (SMA), which is divided into a number of indicators of achievement of the minimum standards have to be met. The standard is based on the attainment of a minimum percentage, presence or absence of indicators and the increase or decrease in the indicator. Furthermore, achievement of the object studied empirically may be smaller or larger than the Minimum Service Standards (MSS) are determined. As for analyzing economic growth education sector used the model as follows: (PDRBt – PDRBt-1)Economic Growth (GDP ) = --------------------------- x 100% PDRBtThe results of the above analysis shows that the contribution of 60% of local government is still happening Gap between the expenses and the cost of education that should be spent both for elementary and junior high school. The dependence of the cost of education is still expecting central contribution that minimum service standards can be achieved.
