Abstract

The objective of this research was understanding the impact of planting method to N and P element in the soil (swapt away by erosion) of aslant land, determining the best planting method and plant variety that has best ability to reduce erosion of N and P element. This research employed erosion block for seasonal plants with 30O of declivity. Erosion of N and P element examined by analyzing the soil swept away by erotion every 5 days. Analysis of N and P element included available N, total N, available P and total P. Then the data was analyzed with T-test at 95% level confidence. Conclusion taken from this research were: 1) Planting method reduce availble P and total P element, respectively as much as 15% and 20%, but there was no significant difference between available N and total P, 2) There was significant difference between available P and total P, when the variety of plant and combination was employed as a treatment variation, 3) Pennisetum purpureum planted by using equidistant method reduce N and P element in the soil, respectively as much as 15% and 20%.

Abstract

The objective of research was to asses the genetic variability of Hot Chili in order to increase genetic stock for plant breeding program. The research was conducted in A glass house of Plant Science Departement, Sebelas Maret University, irradiation of seed was done in BATAN Jakarta. The experimental design was Completely Randomized Design which consisted of two treatment, irradiation dosage and Chili  Varieties. The research conducted that dosages of irradiation affected the genetic variability of Chili. At the higher dosage of irradiation, there was A negative effect of gamma rays irradiation to the plant height, harvest age, number of red fruit, weight of red fruit and genetic variability. The heritability was high enough on all variables measured, except age flowering. Therefore, the genetic factor was more dominant on all variables, and for flowering age was more affected by environmental factor.

Abstract

To increase product need the existence of preeminent seed, because seed represent one of the crop conducting medium having role which very determine in the effort increase product and quality of crop conducting result. Seed claimed to be gilt edged where usage of seed with quality for supported by technological medium going forward other will be able to yield maximal productive crop. The farmers often loss their energy and also time in usage of seed which its unfavorable quality. The aimed of this research is to know how accurate factors such as wide of farm, education, seed price, and manure to influence farmer using BBBA (seed in foreign language’s label) at Sukoharjo District. Framework idea in this research is at taking an action, to buy and also use something, farmer will influence by immeasurable of factor, internal and external factor. Internal factor is direct related factor in accurate matter, and external factor related to BBBA consumer. In this research which the included in internal factor is BBBA it self price and usage of manure, while external factor of wide of farm mastered by farmers cultivated melon, formal education and of them.Sample area was selected by purposive pursuant to usage of farm many by farmer for the conducting of melon. Sample taken by counted 60 person who is taken at random. Data analysis is doubled linear regression.Result of regresi analysis mention that at confidence level 95% passing Test F obtained that accurate variable-variable by together mount usage of BBBA, where R2 value equal to 0,601 meaning that variation of usage BBBA influenced by free variable in model equal to 60,1%. And through Test T variable having an effect on wide of farm, Manure anad education with biggest influence sequence is usage of manure, later than education and wide of farm. While BBBA itself price in the reality do not influence farmer in using the BBBA product.

Abstract

Amount of 18 bag sacks of sawdust have been used to know the influence of sawdust fermentation with Trichoderma viride on nutrition quality. Randomized complete block design of factorial 2x3 used as the experiment design in this research. First factor consist of 2 old level of ferment (10 and 20 day) and second factor consisting of 3 inoculums dose level (2, 3 and 4%). Variable observed are dry matter degradation, change of protein and fiber contains. The result showed that dry matter degradation increased when inoculums dose and ferment time increased too. The most loss of dry matter got at 4% of inoculums dose (5,65%) and at 20 days ferment time (4,77%). The effect of inoculums dose is significant increasing protein containt. Highest increase got at 4% inoculums dose (169,12%) and the lowest at 2% (49,56%).There are interaction influence from both factor to the degradation of fibre contains on sawdust fermentation. At all of used inoculums dose fibre contains downhill in line with the increasing of ferment time and inoculums dose. The lowest degradation obtained at 2% treatment combination. Conclusion from this research is that more and more inoculums dose and time ferment hence more and more dry matter degradation, increasing protein and downhill fibre contains.

Abstract

Aims of this study is determine performance of drying chile that use electric  energy. Type of dryer is bath dryer. Using of this study can be help farmers for to solve their problems in post harvest. This study use material and tools like (1) a set bath dryer with electric energy, (2) thermometer, (3) hygrometer, (4) oven, (5) balance, (6) chile and (7) others tool. The parameters in the study are temperatur (influence, material, dryer, out of material), relative humidity (influence, out of material), moisture content during drying with time intervals one hours and drying times. Depand on this experiment and discusions, can be conclusions that drying methode and making of dryer is easy, material for make dryer is easy to colect. Quality of final product is good, drying efficience is 22,36%, and final moisture content 7% dry base (drying time is 14 hours).

Abstract

The problem solving of the production element efficiency by using linear programming can be done by formulating the mathematical model. The principles that have to be kept first are:The whole set of the problems can be divided into activity parts. Each of the activities must have been determined precisely (about the quantity)The quantity must have devided preciselyThe limit of the capacity should be determinedMaking the modelAfter that, the next step is finding the solution. However, one thing to remember is that the problem solving using linear programming is only a medium. About the application depends on the decision maker or the user that will not be out from the real condition.
