Abstract

The objectives of this study were: 1) To determine the working characteristics of traditional blacksmiths in Sidenreng Rappang Regency. 2) to find out what are the factors that influence the existence of traditional blacksmiths in facing the industrial era. 3) to find out how the traditional blacksmith survived in the industrial revolution era in Sidenreng Rappang district. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research, which is used to describe the phenomenon of social reality found in people who are used as objects or targets in research that seeks to draw that reality to the surface as a feature, nature, character, sign, or description of the situation, situation. , model, or problem specific phenomenon. The results showed that the way blacksmiths survived in the industrial revolution era in Sidenreng Rappang district was by maintaining the distinctive form and resilience of the production of these goods, as well as having an affordable selling price, and availability in the area itself so that it was easily accessible to the surrounding community.

Abstract

This study aims : (1) To find out how the community activities that visit the Maros City Forest. (2) To find out the perception of the people who use the Maros City Forest . This research is a quantitative descriptive study with the object of research is the entire area of the City of Maros Forest while the sample is a visitor from the City of Maros Forest . Data collected through interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results obtained (1) Community activities that come to the city of Maros Forest most to exercise and visitors who almost every day come to sell food and drinks. (2) Community perceptions of the main functions of urban forests are quite good and community perceptions for additional functions of the Maros City Forest are also quite good.

Abstract

 This study discusses the location of the Lae-lae Island tourist attraction, Ujung Pandang District, Makassar City. The purposes of this study are 1) to determine the characteristics of the island of Lae-lae in Makassar. 2) find out the natural tourist attraction of Lae-lae island, Makassar city. 3) See the natural attractions of Lae-lae island, Makassar city. The research used is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique used is a scoring technique to assign a value to each characteristic parameter of the sub-variables so that the value can be calculated and the ranking can be determined according to the weight of each ODTWA assessment of each criterion multiplied by the weight value of each -respective criteria. the value of the weight/class that has been obtained from the tabulation of the development classification of each assessment criteria, the value of each criterion is averaged to the final score. Through these values will be obtained one of the right locations. The results of the feasible objects and natural tourist attractions of Lae-lae Island are with a value of 78.66%, meaning that Lae-lae Island is included in the category to be developed. Suggestions to the management, community and visitors to continue to maintain the beauty of Lae-lae island and not to do things that are considered to damage the beauty of Lae-lae island.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the application of geography teachers in using the Problem Based Learning model. Data was collected through interviews with teachers in the field of geography. Using qualitative analysis conducted by means of interviews and observations. The results showed that geography teachers at SMA Negeri 13 Pangkep in Labakkang District, Pangkep Regency, the teachers had implemented a problem-based learning model based on the 2013 curriculum following training workshops and already knew the syntax and steps of learning geography by applying the PBL learning model. This shows that the teaching skills of geography teachers at SMA Negeri 13 Pangkep under study are quite good. Teachers also began to use information and communication technology in the teaching and learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

The team-based geography learning paradigm is very important in 21st century learning. Team-based geography learning is able to explore and overcome the limited ability of teachers in material that they do not master. There are problems in changing geography learning from individual to team-based paradigms. The understanding of students and teachers is still constructed with the individual-based geography learning paradigm. There is no willingness to accept the shift in the paradigm of team-based geography learning. The concept of team-based geography learning has not been able to be understood and mastered holistically.
