Abstract

This study aims to find out 1) The description of the social interaction of the fishing community in the coastal community of Sabaru Village, Liukang Tangaya District, Pangkep Regency 2) The description of the stratification of the coastal community of Sabaru Village, Liukang Tangaya District, Pangkep Regency. 3) The description of the social interaction of the fishing community towards the stratification of the Sabaru village community, Liukang Tangaya District, Pangkep. This study uses quantitative research with a population of 160 fishing communities. The results show that 1) The description of the social interaction of the fishermen community in the village of Sasusu, Liukang Tangaya District, Pangkep Regency is in the "good" category. Based on indicators, among others, a) Social Exchange, fishermen who live in groups can improve relations, b) Cooperation is a way for fishermen to catch fish more easily c) Competition, fellow fishermen try to maintain stability d) Conflicts that occur can be resolved. 2) The description of the stratification of coastal communities in the village of Sabatu, Liukang Tangaya sub-district, Pangkep Regency is in the "good" category. Based on indicators, among others, a) Objective distribution of privileges, catching fish together b) Household system, favorable ship conditions c) Criteria for conflicting systems, dominant fishing d) Symbols of position, not comparing e ) Does not differentiate position f) Solidarity among individuals or groups. 3) There is an influence that is classified as "low" between the social interaction of the fishing community on the stratification of the coastal community of the Sasusu Village, Liukang Tangaya Sub-district, Pangkep Regency

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of tolerance of the transmigration community, the supporting factors of tolerance and the inhibiting factors of tolerance, and efforts to maintain the tolerance of the transmigration community in Tabolang Village, Topoyo District, Central Mamuju Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method and combined with quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. which aims to reveal facts or occurrences of variable phenomena and circumstances that occurred during the research by presenting what actually happened and by adding the results of the questionnaire as supporting data from the results obtained through interviews if needed. The data analysis technique used interactive analysis and descriptive statistical analysis.The results of the study based on data analysis showed that the form of tolerance of the transmigration community was seen from sixteen indicators, this was generally carried out by the transmigration community in Tabolang Village, Topoyo District, Central Mamuju Regency. This is also in accordance with the percentage level of tolerance in the form of transmigration society obtained in the high category of 74 percent. The supporting factors for community tolerance, seen from the five indicators, tend to be carried out by the transmigration community in Tabolang Village, Topoyo District, Central Mamuju Regency as a form of supporting the creation of diverse community tolerance. In addition, the most influential and dominant factor carried out by the transmigration community is respecting the beliefs of others of 86. The inhibiting factor of community tolerance seen from the four indicators, this tends to be carried out by the transmigration community in Tabolang Village, Topoyo District, Central Mamuju Regency as a form of inhibiting the creation of community tolerance diverse. Of these four factors, the factors that most tend to hinder the tolerance of transmigration communities are poor education and love to live in hostility. However, these four factors are classified as high in inhibiting the tolerance of the transmigration community based on the results of the questionnaire data which obtained an average of above 70 percent. Efforts to build community tolerance seen from two indicators, are generally carried out by transmigration communities in Tabolang Village, Topoyo District, Central Mamuju Regency as an effort to maintain a form of tolerance for transmigration communities that exist in diverse communities. Of these two factors, all of them are high and the factor that most transmigration people tend to do in an effort to maintain community tolerance is that it requires social interaction through intensive conversation and association by 73 percent. This shows that the form of tolerance of the transmigration community is generally carried out by the community so that it needs to be maintained or developed for the better.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the traditional game of hide and seek (ma'tingko-tingko) and to determine the impact of the traditional game of hide and seek (ma'tingko-tingko) for improving children's social skills in Madello Village, Balusu District, Barru Regency. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection techniques through natural observation, interviews and documentation. The data collection process carried out by researchers includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results obtained are that (1) The description of the traditional game of hide and seek (ma'tingko-tingko) in Madello Village, Balusu District, Barru Regency is one of the fun games and is favored by the community, especially among children in Madello Village, Balusu District. (2) The impact of the traditional game of hide and seek (ma'tingko-tingko) for improving children's social skills in Madello Village, Balusu District, Barru Regency, is to have a positive impact on improving children's social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to find out 1) the inhibiting factors of students that affect the writing of the thesis final project in the Social Sciences Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University during the process of preparing the thesis final project. 2) The obstacles faced in writing the final thesis of students in the Social Sciences education study program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University during the process of preparing the thesis. 3) The impact of student barriers in writing the final thesis of students in the Social Sciences education study program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University when the process of preparing the thesis final project. The type of research used by the researcher is qualitative. as for data collection techniques through documentation, observation and interviews. The data collection process used by the researcher includes: data collection, word reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the obstacles in writing the final thesis in the Social Studies Education Study Program are divided into two, namely 1) Internal such as motivation or encouragement and also activities or busyness. 2) External, such as the administrative process and the guidance process with the supervisor. The impact of these obstacles has an impact on students' psychology which creates inner pressure from people around, so that students feel pressured and then try to avoid this pressure by looking for other activities.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out how the factors that influence the reduced public interest in making Sassang in Balla Village, Balla District, Mamasa Regency. (2) To find out what strategies were used to maintain the making of Sassang in Balla Village, Balla District, Mamasa Regency. The type of research carried out was qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Data was collected by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, word reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Based on the results of the study, it shows that (1) the factors that influence the lack of public interest in making Sassang in Balla Village, Balla District, Mamasa Regency, consist of several factors, namely lack of understanding, many people wandering, lack of love, and lack of awareness to preserve culture. (2) The strategy that can be taken by the community to maintain the making of Sassang in Balla Village, Balla District, Mamasa Regency is to increase the conservative and progressive power, build cultural awareness and cultural resilience in the community, strengthen and strengthen identity and identity.

Abstract

Recent advances in remote-sensing technology allow us to control the position change in certain period. By using Google Earth Imagery, the position change of stationary lift net can be seen in a period of 10 years, starting from 2007 to 2018. Furthermore, mapping the position change of the stationary lift net by ArcGIS application and counting the ratio number of change in stationary lift net from 2007 to 2018. The method used in this research is to interpret the position change by using Google Earth Imagery, field survey and interview with local society to find general description of stationary lift net. The data analyzed by using spatial analysis that consist of detection, identification, and analyzing the position change of stationary lift net by Google Earth Imagery. The result indicated the position of stationary lift net experience the position changes every 5 years. In 2007 to 2013 stationary lift net pattern is extending from north to south while in 2013 to 2018 the pattern spreading. The number of stationary lift net has decreased from 55 to 36 in 10 years, however the changes pattern tends to be constantly
