Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct and indirect influence of financial knowledge and financial attitude on locus of control and financial management behavior. The subject of this study used the students of Faculty of Economics and Business at Kanjuruhan University Malang in academic year of 2014 and 2015 as the sample determined by proportional random sampling. Data analysis technique is done by using path analysis. The results showed that financial knowledge has no influence on the locus of control or the financial management behavior. While the financial attitude has a significant effect on the locus of control and financial management behavior. This study also found a significant influence between locus of control with financial management behavior of students of Faculty of Economics and Business at Kanjuruhan University Malang

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of financial performance of banks ; Non Performing Loan (NPL), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Net Interest Margin (NIM) on Return On Assets (ROA). This study was conducted using secondary data. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with 7 companies. The method used is multiple linear regression. The result of analysis shows that partially Non Performing Loan (NPL) has significant effect to ROA, while Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Net Interest Margin (NIM) have no significant effect on ROA. Simultaneously that Non Performing Loan (NPL), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Net Interest Margin (NIM) have significant effect to ROA.

Abstract

The research aimes to find out the correlation between organizational culture and work discipline to work performance that is mediated by employee job satisfaction. The number of research samples as many as 50 respondents from the general section of the Malang regional secretariat. The technique of taking data using questionnaires. Analysis technique using path analysis. The result of research stated that job satisfaction becomes mediator for organizational culture and work discipline to improve employee performance. The dominant indicators of job performance are timeliness and work can be completed faster than the deadline. The dominant job satisfaction indicator is employee responsive attitude toward work. The dominant organizational culture indicator of employee aggressiveness is indicated by the hard work done by the employees. The dominant work discipline is orderly on the rules, following the terms of work, compliance with applicable regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership functions and organizational culture on the performance of academic employees at the University of Ichsan Gorontalo simultaneously or partially. The method of analysis used is multiple linear regressions. This research uses purposive sampling and data collection techniques using questionnaires. The results showed that leadership functions significantly affect employee performance. Organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance. Leadership function and organizational culture have simultaneous effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Competition between universities and the amount of expenditure funds that require the college to know the effectiveness of promotional activities that have been done. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of promoting the introduction of campus "Go to School" using EPIC model Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang. Sampling technique using simple random sampling. Respondents in this study are undergraduate students Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang active until 2015/2016 academic year as many as 97 students. This research uses EPIC Model analysis method. The results showed that the dimension of empathy is effective, the dimension of persuasion is quite effective. Dimensional impact is quite effective as for the dimensions of communication is quite effective

Abstract

Aim from research thisfor analyze application management risk credit in minimizing nonperforming loans in the People's Business Credit (KUR) in Bank Jatim Branch of Sidoarjo and to determine the application of credit risk management effective in minimizing the problem loansthe People's Business Credit (KUR) in Bank of Sidoarjo East Java. This type of research used in this research is descriptive research. The results showed that at Bank Jatim Branch of Sidoarjo has implemented well the active supervision of commissioners and directors, policies, procedures and limits, the process of identification, measurement, monitoring and management information system of credit risk, and credit risk control. This study suggested that banks maintain the independence of credit staff and also improve credit monitoring well

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the factors that determine the decision to become a customer in a sharia bank. Respondents in this study are customers who use Islamic banking products amounting to 50 people in the branch office of Bank Syariah Mandiri Kepanjen. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and analysis techniques using multiple regression. The results show that location, service, religiosity, Islamic economy and social behavior have a positive influence on the decision to become customers of sharia banks, while knowledge factors do not lead to the decision to become customers in Islamic banks.
