Abstract

The phenomenon of labor in East Kalimantan this raises a presumption that the level of wages not paid on the same level of labor productivity. Wage inequality with MPL can be assessed by examining some of the factors that influence the wage rate. Women who work in the formal sector tend to have high levels of education and skills, access to financial institutions, labor productivity and wage rates are also relatively high compared with women working in the informal sector Keyword: Labor, Women, Informal Sector

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the influence of foreign investment and domestic investment with goverment expenditure on the economic growth East Kalimantan province. In the current we study used multiple linear regression analysis tool, but it also aided by computer, using program SPSS 20.0. After conducting research with reference to the secondary data it was concluded there are three variabels that affect the economic growth is foreign investment and domestic investment with goverment expenditure. The result showed that simultaneous or together on the F test, the three independent variables was significant influence on economic growth East Kalimantan Province. Afterwards the t test, domestic investment variables was not significant on economic growth of East Kalimantan Province, but foreign investmen and government expenditure variabels positive influence and significant on economic growth of East Kalimantan Province.. Keyword: foreign investment, domestic investment, government expenditure economic growth

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi, kepemimpinan, dan kedisiplinan kerja terhadap kinerja dalam perspektif Islam, di mana dari hasil data yang diperoleh ditemukan bahwa variabel komunikasi dan kepemimpinan serta kedisiplinan kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan bank Kaltim Samarinda dengan menggunakan teori perspektif Islam. Menggunakan data primer dari 21 responden. Alat analisis menggunakan regresi liner berganda. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa komunikasi, kepemimpinan, dan kedisiplinan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja dalam perspektif Islam. Keyword: Komunikasi, Kepemimpinan, Kedisiplinan Kerja, Kinerja.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and Industrial Appliances (IRT) in Indonesia plays an important role in absorbing labor force, increase the number of business units and support household income, so it is one important part of the economy of the country. The research objective is to develop strategies for the potential development of Small Industrial / Domestic-based Agriculture in the broad meaning in East Kutai. The study found that the right strategy for the development of Small Industrial / Domestic Agriculture based in East Kutai is to give greater attention to the process of policy formulation.Keyword: SWOT, Bumdes, Kutai Timur

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyse impact of monitoring mechanism of corporate governance to comprehensive corporate performance, both financial performance and market performance. This research was conducted using secondary data obtained from annual reports of manufacture companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the year 2011 until 2013. The data was analyzed using multiple regression method to capture the effect of corporate governance mechanism to company performance.  The result showed that institutional shareholding and leverage partially and significantly affect financial performance, whilst board size, commissioner size, independent commissioner, managerial shareholding, audit committee size are found to insignificantly affect financial performance. Furthermore, board size, commissioner size and institutional shareholding significantly affect market performance whereas independent commissioner, managerial shareholding, audit committee and leverage do not influence market performance. Key Word: board size, commissioner size, institutional shareholding and market performance
