Abstract

AbstrakMadrasah aliyah sudah tentu memiliki rencana kegiatan pengembangan madrasah. Rencana kegiatan tersebut dapat berjalan efektif apabila faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dapat dikelola dengan baik yaitu diantaranya pembuatan keputusan kepala madrasah dan partisipasi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh Pembuatan Keputusan Kepala Madrasah dan Partisipasi Guru terhadap Implementasi Rencana Kegiatan Madrasah (RKM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen angket. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 MAS di wilayah Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan keputusan kepala madrasah dan paritipasi guru baik secara parsial maupun simultan memiliki pengaruh terhadap implementasi RKM. Kata kunci: implementasi, perencanaan stratejik, rencana kegiatan, pembuatan keputusan, partisipasi guru.      AbstractMadrasa Aliyah has a strategic plan for development of madrasa. The action plan can be effective if the factors that influence it can be managed properly such decision-making head of madrasa and teacher participations. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the influence wheter decision making head of madrasa and participations of teacher influence on implementation activity plan in madrasa (RKM). This study uses a quantitative approach using questionnaires. Population is the subject of this study amounted to 30 private madrasa aliyah scattered in the district of Bandung Barat. The results showed that decision-making head of madrasa and participation of teacher partially and simultaneously has an influence on the implementation of RKM.Keyword: implementation, strategic plan,  activity plan, decision-making, teacher participation

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan belum optimalnya mutu sekolah. Adapun permasalahan yang ingin dipecahkan adalah  pengaruh Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Ngamprah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah dan mutu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Ngamprah, serta menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruhnya baik secara parsial maupun simultan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, jenis penelitian survey dan analisis regresi yang dilakukan pada 48 sekolahdengan 585 guru dan 48 kepala sekolah.Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 sekolah dengan 30 kepala sekolah dan 378 guru yang diambil berdasarkan Proportionate stratified random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data, ditemukan bahwa Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah, dan mutu sekolah pada sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Ngamprah berada pada katagori sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah, iklim sekolah berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah, dan secara bersama-sama Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah. Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah menjadi faktor penting yang harus dibangun  dalam upaya pencapaian mutu sekolah, terutama pada aspek controlling, aspek iklim kesehatan sekolah, dan aspek output.This study explain about the quality of school that is not optimal, The problems that will be solved are the influence of the principal’s Managerial Ability and the school climate toward the school quality of elementary schools in Kecamatan Ngamprah. The aim of this study is to know the description of the principal’s Managerial Ability, the school climate and the school quality of elementary schools in Kecamatan Ngamprah, and analyzing how much the influence either partially or simultaneously. The approach used in this study is quantitative approach with descriptive method with survey and use correlation and regression analysis. The population is 48 schools with 585 teachers and 48 principal. The sample used is 30 schools with 30 principals and 378 teachers that were selected by Proportionate stratified random sampling. Based on the data processing and data analysis, the researcher found that the principal’s managerial ability, the school climate, and the school quality of elementary schools in Kecamatan Ngamprah are at very high category. Result of research show that the principal’s managerial ability positively and significantly influential toward the school quality and the school climate positively and significantly influential toward the school quality, and together with the principal’s managerial ability and the school climate, positively and significantly influential toward the school quality.The principal’s managerial ability and the school climate become an important factor that needs to be developed in the efforts to achieve the school quality, especially in the aspect of controlling, healthy school climate, and output

Abstract

SMK perlu memiliki sebuah rencana stratejik (renstra) yang mapan, yang didasarkan pada analisis situasi internal dan eksternal, yang dapat mereposisi setiap unsur diluar organisasi yang berpengaruh terhadap implementasinya seperti kinerja manajerial Kepala Sekolah (KS), struktur, budaya, kekuasaan dan kewenangan, komitmen organisasi, komunikasi, fasilitas, teknologi dan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM). Permasalahan yang ingin dijawab meliputi : Bagaimana implementasi renstra di SMK yang didukung  peran kinerja KS dan pemanfaatan SIM, Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja manajerial KS dan pemanfaatan SIM berpengaruh positif, kuat dan signifikan terhadap efektifitas implementasi renstra. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan adalah kepada seluruh stakeholder SMK untuk dapat menjalankan role of model, meningkatkan pay attention, berpartisipasi aktif dalam organisasi profesi, dan lainlain.Vocational High School (SMK) should have a good-quality strategic plan. The strategic plan underlined by internal and external environment analysis is able to transform every external variable that affects the implementation. Those variables are such as principal performance, structure, culture, authority, SIM, communication, facility, technology, and information system. Therefore, this study was aimed to answer: How principal performance was performed with system information of management (SIM) supported strategic plan implementation at Vocational schools. The study results showed that principal performance and SIM had a positive and significant affect to the effectivity of strategic plan strongly. It was recommended that stakeholders should develop the role of models, increasing pay attention, actively participate in professional organizations, etc.

Abstract

Efektivitas manajemen mutu merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dan perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus, karena mutu sekolah yang baik dapat diperoleh apabila manajemen mutu tersebut berjalan secara efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kinerja kepala sekolah dan disiplin kerja guru terhadap efektivitas manajemen mutu SMA swasta se-kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif  melalui analisis deskriptif. Sampel penelitian yang diambil sebanyak 30 sekolah. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kinerja kepala sekolah, disiplin kerja guru dan efektivitas manajemen mutu SMA swasta se-kota Bandung berada pada kategori tinggi. Selain itu, pengaruh kinerja kepala sekolah terhadap efektivitas manajemen mutu pada kategori rendah, pengaruh disiplin kerja guru terhadap efektivitas manajemen mutu pada Kategori sedang dan pengaruh kinerja kepala sekolah dan disiplin kerja guru terhadap efektivitas manajemen mutu pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ada beberapa rekomendasi yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan keefektifan manajemen mutu, diantaranya untuk terus melakukan perbaikan secara terus menerus dan melakukan dengan mengoptimalkan pendekatan total quality management (TQM).The effectiveness of quality management is a very important aspect and it needs special attention, because  good quality of school can be obtained if the quality management is working effectively. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of principal performance and teacher discipline towards effectiveness of quality management of private school throughout Bandung. The research used survey method with quantitative approach through descriptive analysis. A total of 30 schools out of a population of 109 schools were chosen as sample with proportionate stratified random sampling technique. These results revealed that principal performance, teachers discipline and effectiveness of quality management throughout the private high school in Bandung at the high category. Besides that, the the effect of principal performance towards effectiveness of quality management in low category, the effect of teacher discipline towards effectiveness of quality management in medium category, the effect of principal performance, teacher discipline towards effectiveness of quality management in high category. Based on the findings, the following recommendations are needed, for improving the effectiveness of quality management, such as continual improvements by optimizing and performing total quality management (TQM) approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi kepemimpinan visioner, iklim sekolah dan Continuing Professional Development (CPD) terhadap kepuasan kerja guru pada sekolah menengah pertama di Kota Cimahi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode yang digunakan deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 42,2%, iklim sekolah berkontribusi sebesar 65,8% dan Continuing Professional Development berkontribusi sebesar 12,3%. Secara bersama-sama, kepemimpinan visioner, iklim sekolah dan Continuing Professional Development berkontribusi sebesar 67,4% sedangkan 32,6% sisanya merupakan kontribusi dari faktor lain yang tidak dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Disarankan agar (1) Kepala sekolah SMP di Kota Cimahi sebaiknya mendapatkan workshop tentang implementasi praktis kepemimpinan visioner. KKKS dapat menjadi media tukar pikiran, pengetahuan dan pengalaman untuk mencari alternatif pemecahan masalah; (2) Sangat disarankan agar kepala sekolah mengkomunikasikan visi dan misi sekolah secara rutin. Kepala sekolah sebaiknya memiliki ketrampilan komunikasi dan persuasi yang baik sehingga dapat mempengaruhi banyak pihak untuk tetap menjalankan program sesuai visi misi sekolah, bahkan ketika dihadang oleh hambatan dan tantangan.The intention of this research is to find out the contribution of visionary leadership, the school climate and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) toward the junior high school teacher’s work satisfaction at Cimahi Municipality. This study uses a quantitative approach, the method used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that visionary leadership has contributed 42,2 % to the teacher’s work satisfaction; the school climate has contributed 65.8%, while Continuing Professional Development only contributed 12.3%. Simultaneously, visionary leadership, school climate and Continuing Professional Development contributed 67,4%, while the remaining 32,6% is contributed by other factors which are not examined in this study. It is suggested that (1) the principals of junior high school in Cimahi Municipality should to engage in a workshop about practical visionary leadership. KKKS or the Principal’s Group Work can be a medium for exchanging knowledge and skill to find alternatives for problem solving; (2) The school’s vision and mission should be well communicated regularly.
