The implementation of the Regular Community Service (KKN Reguler) is carried out in the context of applying oneof the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service. Division XIV, XV, and XVI of Regular LXXI UADKKN are committed to serving the community with several planned work programs that aim to increase the potentialof community resources in the villages of Hargomulyo, Serut, Sampang, Watu Gajah, and Mertelu, GedangsariDistrict. Community empowerment seeks to improve the quality of human resources (HR), especially in shapingand changing people’s behavior to achieve a better life and a better quality of life. In order to explore the potentialof Gedangsari District, LXXI UAD Regular KKN holds Gedangsari Festival activities which are expected to become amedium to explore the potential of the community and can improve the quality of human resources from childrento adults in Gedangsari District, Gunung Kidul Regency.

Di Dusun Sadang, Nanggulan, Kulon Progo terdapat kelompok peternak ikan lele yang mempunyai potensi untuk lebih dikembangkan lagi, baik dari sisi kuantitas maupun kualitasnya. Dari sisi kuantitas, jumlah dan ukuran ikan lele masih bisa ditingkatkan dan dari sisi kualitas hasil panen ikan lele dapat diolah menjadi makanan olahan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Kelompok Peternak Ikan Lele sejak proses pembibitan sampai dengan pasca panen. Metode pelaksanaannya adalah dengan cara pemberian penyuluhan tentang pembudidayaan ikan lele, penyuluhan izin PIRT, penyuluhan hak atas merek, pelatihan tentang pembuatan abon ikan lele, dan pendampingan sejak pembibitan sampai dengan pasca panen ikan lele sehingga menjadi produk olahan yang layak jual.Hasil program pengabdian ini adalah 1) terdapat pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang pembudidayaan ikan lele pada anggota kelompok ternak ikan lele, terdapat pemahaman perlunya izin PIRT dan arti penting merek untuk pemasaran produk pada ibu-ibu PKK dan karang taruna; 2) bagi ibu-ibu PKK dan karang taruna mempunyai ketrampilan pembuatan abon ikan lele. Kota Malang merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki intesitas bencana seperti banjir genangan dan tanahlongsor di beberapa kecamatan seperti Blimbing, Sukun, Kedungkandang, Lowokwaru, dan Klojen. Menurut UtayaSugeng (2008) banjir genangan dan tanah longsor terjadi karena proporsi lahan terbuka di Kota Malang semakinsempit serta sistem saluran drainase yang tidak memadai (Dewanto Muslim, 2013). Predikat Kota Malangsebagai kota pendidikan menyebabkan semakin padatnya pemukiman. Akibatnya banjir seringkali menimbulkankemacetan lalu lintas, rusaknya infrastruktur jalan raya dan terganggunya aktifitas perekonomian warga. Selain itucurah hujan yang relatif tinggi pada bulan Pebruari, Nopember, Desember dengan perkiraan 201 - 300 mili meterhingga Maret 2017 (BMKG Stasiun Klimatologi Malang, 2017) menyebabkan beberapa wilayah seperti KotaLama, Polehan, Jodipan, Sukun dan Bareng sering terjadi banjir dan longsor. Disetiap musim penghujan, KelurahanBareng selalu mengalami bencana banjir. Bencana ini sangat berdampak pada kehidupan ekonomi masyarakatyang pada kondisinya merupakan kawasan yang termasuk dalam kategori kumuh dan padat penduduk. Penyebabbencana banjir serta dampaknya terhadap perekonomian masyarakat Kelurahan Bareng. Dari dampak tersebutakan dijelaskan tentang bagaimana pengembangan ekonomi yang kompatibel dengan keadaan dan kebutuhanmasyarakat Kelurahan Bareng.

This study aims to measure the impacts of biogas utilization in farmer’s household scale in Boyolali Regency. The survey toward 67 respondents of famer’s households in Samiran Village, Selo Subdistrict and Sruni Village, Musuk Subdistrict in Boyolali Regency were involved purposively. The farmer’s household involved in this study were the owners of biogas in household scale. For respondents having no biogas, it was required that they had known biogas in household scale. The data were analyzed using the impact evaluation model with Propensity Score Matching approach. The Treatment Effect Analysis shows that the biogas utilization in farmer’s household scale has significant impact on the decrease of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) usage reaching until 2.54 kg/ month. Nevertheless, the impact on the firewood and organic fertilizer usage is insignificant. Through this study, it can be concluded that the utilization of household biogas among farmers has a significant impact on of the Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) usage.

Malnutrition caused by carbohydrate and / or protein deficiency still threatens Indonesian children, including nutritionalanemia due to iron deficiency, Iron deficiency anemia (IDA)which is the most prevalent anemia but neglectedby public attention. The participation of the community in the prevention and treatment of malnutrition in childrenstarts with the active participation of pregnant women in routine checks during pregnancy, supplementary feedingto children under five and monitoring the nutritional status of their children. The role of health cadres in thecommunity is very important because they are the motor of community nutrition development activities in theirarea. Community service is intended to prevent and improve malnutrition in children through improving the qualityof Posyandu (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu/Integrated Health Post) activities, monitoring of growth and health of underfive years old children and administration of supplementary feeding for infants and children. This program isdedicated for increasing knowledge and skills of cadres and mothers of infants and under five year hildren inCokrowijayan and Sukunan villages in Banyuraden Village, Gamping Sub-District, Sleman . The activities carriedout in this service were in the form of malnutrition prevention and recovery workshops for children involving healthleaders in Cokrowijayan and Sukunan Villages in Banyuraden Village and village youth leaders, including theoryand practice. Additionally, there was assistance in measuring the anthropometry for growth monitoring. Otherassistance provided was in he form of additional food for infants and under five year children. In this program, Timof FKIK UMY (Medical Faculty Team of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University) also carried out the assessment ofthe knowledge and practice of mothers of infants and under five year children in terms of nutrition care. Themeasurement results are reported descriptively and analytically.

Goat milk is one of the commodities of farming products that is highly nutritious and useful for health. However, goat milk has not been currently preferable due to its smell characteristic. One of the ways in order to make goat milk be able to gain consumers’ interests is by turning it into processed product, such as yoghurt. Yoghurt is a drinking product made as the result of milk fermentation yielded from controlled LAB bacteria. This study is the result of organoleptic assessment, in the form of pH and the flavor of one of PUPPIK skim dedicated products. The flavor organoleptic observation with students as the panelists was using de Garmo analytical hedonic test in order to find the most appropriate treatment and the most favorite flavor based on the consumers’ interests. The pH data and data analysis used ANOVA test. The design of this research was RALF (Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola Faktorial/ Factorial Pattern Completely Randomized Design), which consists of 2 factors: fermentation duration (6, 12, 18, and 24 hours) with the temperature of 37OC and the types of starter bacteria (Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and combination). Therefore, there were 12 treatments which were repeated 3 times.The result of de Garmo test observation is that the fermentation duration interaction and types of starter bacteria which is mostly preferred by the panelists is the one which is in 24-hour duration of fermentation using Lactobacillus bulgaricus bacteria, with the highest flavor product score of 1,89 (little sour, not bitter), while in term of pH, there is no difference.

Wedang Ereng-ereng Culinary Festival activity is held in order to support the mandate of Seloharjo village as atourism village. Based on three natural potentials, namely Goa Jepang, Tuk Surocolo, and Goa Sunan Mas, WedangEreng-ereng is expected to become a typical culinary attraction. This festival is intended as an internal and externalpromotion effort as well as to make Wedang Ereng-ereng as the tourism icon of Seloharjo. The festival activity iscarried out in four stages, namely: preparation, socialization, festival implementation, and follow-up plans. Thecommunity is involved in all stages as the main actors of Seloharjo tourism development. This festival has succeededin making people aware of the potential and opportunities of Wedang Ereng-ereng as a source of communityincome.

The founding of Village-Owned Business Entity (Badan Usaha Milik Desa, BUMDes) is a mandate of Laws. It is also one of the leading work programs in Priority Performance in the period 2015-2019. Even though 5000 BUMDes targeted by the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration has exceeded by the establishment of nearly 35.000 BUMDes across Indonesia. However, there are some villages which still seem doubtful and less motivated to establish BUMDes. Moyudan sub-district consists of four villages and there is only one village which has already pioneered the establishment of BUMDes. The aim of the community service program (PPM) is to motivate the initiation of the establishment of BUMDes in Moyudan sub-district. The activity of PKM was conducted through initial survey, training, and consultation on the mapping of village potential. The outcome of this activity is the documents of the mapping of village potential and the selection of BUMDes enterprise planning.
