Abstract

Traveling Salesman Problem is a problem how to get the shortest route in a journey. One example for Traveling Salesman Problem is paperboy. Paperboy’s duty is to deliver the papers to each customer so the customer can get information quickly. Therefore, the paperboy must find the shortest route to deliver the papers in a short time. Ant Colony System is a methodology that is generated through observation of the ants. Ant Colony System is a probabilistic technique to solve computational problems by finding the best path through the graph. This algorithm is inspired by the behavior of ants in finding paths from the colony to food. In the Ant Colony System there are a number of artificial ants, which are assigned to find a solution to an optimization problem, one of which find the shortest path. In this research discussed hoe the Ant Colony System can find the shortest route in the delivery of newspapers, so paperboy can deliver newspapers quickly.   Keywords: Ant Colony System, Travelling Salesman Problem, Graph.

Abstract

PT. BDI is one of the major banks in Indonesia. With the current economic situation, that bank provide product to help the Indonesian society especially for private employees / BUMN and entrepreneurs by providing venture capital loan or other uses are commonly referred to ready-borrow funds (dp sip), so that these products are widely used by the community. Giving this ceiling will vary in number depending on the assessment criteria component from each of borrowers. usability expert system is to accelerate the process of determining the ceiling loan of the borrowers. For search method is using Forward Chaining Method. This method uses the facts of the components provided by the debtor to obtain the conclusion of the ceiling amount received. conclusions of this expert system is able to provide information in the form of a ceiling amount to be received by the debtor to quickly and accurately based on the assessment component of the proposed Key word: expert system, loan consumer, forward chaining

Abstract

          Semakin berkembangnya perangkat seluler membuat banyaknya penggunaan spektrum frekuensi untuk komunikasi seluler. Salah satu frekuensi yang banyak digunakan adalah frekuensi 900 MHz untuk sistem GSM. Frekuensi 900 MHz yang ada di berbagai area dapat dipakai sebagai energi alternatif untuk supply daya rendah bagi perangkat mobile yang berada jauh dari sumber daya listrik. Pada paper ini dibahas tentang rancang bangun antena mikrostrip 900 MHz, yang nantinya akan digunakan sebagai rectenna (rectifier antenna) untuk menangkap frekuensi 900 MHz. Antena mikrostrip yang dibuat adalah antena mikrostrip rectangular patch  dan jenis substrat FR4 dengan dielektrik 4.5 dan h=1,6. Perancangan dan perhitungan parameter antenna secara numeric menggunakan software simulasi antena. Hasil perancangan direalisasikan dan diukur parameter-parameternya. Dari hasil pengukuran, antena ini bekerja efektif pada rentang frekuensi 850 MHz hingga 880 MHz, nilai rata-rata VSWR ≤ 3 dengan gain  ≤ 7 dB, dan mempunyai return loss lebih kecil dari -9.54 dB.  Kata Kunci : Antena Mikrostrip, Rectangular Patch, VSWR, Gain, Return Loss

Abstract

AbstractMulti Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) is one method of tunning network to improve network performance. MPLS technology allows the packets in the system in a shorter time compared with a normal IP network, since the MPLS network for each packet is labeled and then used as information for the switching process replaces the IP header to the routing process. In this paper discussed the convergence of audio and video streaming with MPLS as a backbone network. QoS testing is done using MPLS network testbed, to determine the performance of QoS in MPLS-based video streaming. In the implementation of the system using the testbed network, network performance compared with using MPLS and TCP / IP network. QoS parameters are used to compare the two networks are delay, jitter, packet loss and throughput. With this analysis, expected users of streaming video technology to know the extent to which the performance of such applications through the MPLS network. From the results of research can be concluded that the overall performance of the network that implements MPLS backbone superior to the network without MPLS. Delay and jitter resulting in an MPLS network is smaller than the TCP / IP network with an average difference of delay of 1.46 ms and jitter of 0.02 ms. Necessary speed video and audio packets to a destination using MPLS network is faster than through an IP network for 1.333 ms. In the delivery of video packets that packet loss is obtained through an IP network is greater than the MPLS network. Keywords: MPLS network, TCP/IP Network, Video Streaming, QoS

Abstract

     The development of Information technology increasingly sophisticated. Intelligent System is the future of computer systems, especially for government agencies in decision-making. Preparation leading to the intelligent system must be done starting today. Starting from the vision, mision, goals and readiness of resources arranged in a blueprint. Various methodologies can be used to create a blueprint. The research will use Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP). EAP in Enterprise Architecture is the planning process of defining architectures for the use of information in support of the business and the plan for implementing those architecture. EAP had a viewpoint that the business mission is the primary driver. That is followed by the data required to satisfy the mission, followed by the applications that are built using that data, and finally by the technology to implement the applications. Keywords : information technology, intelligent system, EAP, blueprint

Abstract

 Abstract The aim of this paper is to depelove teaching aid for Electrical Circuit subject. Voltage and current transient analysis in RLC series circuit had been coohsen as examples. It used ATPDraw for analyzing and modeling the circuits. It is hoped that by using this teaching aid and simulation, the result of voltage and current transient in an electrical circuit will be obtained easly and fastly than hand calucated method. The final product of this teaching aid will be converted to a video tutorial. Using this video tutorial, the students can review the subject by themselve. Finally, it is hoped that using this video tutorial, the student’s understanding in electrical circuit subject will increase. All of simulation results in these cases study had been compared to hand calculated method and other software (mathcad). Abstract

Channel spacing is the important thing in order to determine the network capacity. The smaller channel spacing will give rise to the higher capacity. Moreover, the channel spacing is needed to avoid Optical Bit Interference. In this paper, minimum channel spacing obtained was 0.2 nm which generate the BER smaller than 10-12, so that it meets the International Telecommunication Union requirement. The DWDM network model could be implemented with good performance up to 100 km of optical fiber (without amplifier), whereas the SCM/WDM network model up to 90 km (without amplifier).   Keywords: Channel Spacing, DWDM, SCM/WDM, Radio over Fiber
