Abstract

Improving the quality is something that is most essential for a company to exist in this competitive business world. The main products produced by PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper, that is paper. The problem encountered is a paper that has splotches caused by high water turbidity values so that the product must be in rework. This requires a study to describe the process of water production in the Department of Water Treatment PT Riau Prima Energy as a business unit of PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper. Method of process capability analysis using X and R control chart, which can be seen in the ability of the processes that occur after the water treatment process capability calculations. Based on the calculations, the value of Process Capability Index (Cp) of 1.19. This figure shows the process capability going well but need continuous monitoring in order to maintain the capability of the process. CPK values were in the range of 0.6031 1> CPK > 0, meaning that the average process within the limits of control, but there are some variations in the process falls outside the control limits. Abstract

Tugas Akhir merupakan salah satu syarat penting bagi seorang mahasiswa untuk meraih gelar sarjana, seorang mahasiswa perlu mencari referensi dalam pembuatan tugas akhir, selama ini banyak mahasiswa mencari referensi dari judul dan isi tugas akhir yang sudah ada, permasalahannya adalah jika selama ini mahasiswa kesulitan mencari referensi yang sesuai dan menghabiskan banyak watu untuk membaca referensi yang ada karena banyaknya jumlah tugas akhir (TA) yang tersediaPencarian terutama di dalam sistem informasi telah banyak mempergunakan konsep basis data dengan objek data berupa tabel. Permasalahannya bahwa konsep ini adalah konsep yang kaku karena pembuatan query dan pembentukan relasi antar query bersifat artificial (buatan) sehingga pengguna sistem merasa seolah-olah dibatasi dengan aturan-aturan yang telah dibuat, tanpa memiliki kewenangan untuk melakukan modifikasi query sendiri.Pada Sistem informasi Tugas Akhir ini kata / kalimat yang dimasukkan user akan dibandingkan Similarity Coefficient (kesamaan) nya dengan abstrak TA yang sudah ada . Cara untuk menentukan nilai Similarity Coefficient adalah dengan menggunakan model ruang vektor yaitu kalimat dari user dan abstrak TA diumpamakan sebagai vektor sehingga diketahui nilai term frequency (tf) dan inverse term frequency (idf) , dari nilai tf dan idf-nya barulah bisa diketahui nilai Similarity Coefficient (SC).Kata Kunci : Query, Similarity Coefficient, Tugas Akhir

Abstract

Broken leg bone is one of the conditions which must be dealt with immediately emergency quickly, appropriately and in accordance with applicable procedures. In the design of a virtual assistant to help tool treatment patient fractures foot, accelerometer sensor is used to detect boundary slope foot raised by patients. When the tool is run, the microcontroller will run a program that has been input and accelerometer sensor will detect the tilt foot limit would be appointed by the patient. In addition to the sensor, which also serves to display the LCD schedule medication as well as exercise treatment foot fracture patients and buzzer that serves as a warning sound when the schedule is on medication and exercise treatment foot fracture patients the time has come. If the process of treatment of fractures leg exercises are over, then press button ok to terminate the program. Test results show overall tool can run with either starting from warning alarm in reminding patients to take medication until the accelerometer sensor in detecting limit the slope foot raised by patients in their healing process.Keywords: virtual assistant, microcontroller, accelerometer sensor

Abstract

Batik is an invaluable asset of the country Indonesia should therefore be preserved, besides batikshould be protected so as not to be recognized and taken other countries. To preserve batik in Indonesia,it requires good socialization to the entire community, especially the next generation of expensive art thatwas not lost or recognized other countries. Diversity Java Batik is a lot of information not known by thepublic so that sometimes people do not know if it is on the island of Java has a diverse batik. Abstract

HCI is a study of planning and designing computer systems that aims to help human activities more productive and safe when interacting with computer (Preece, 1994). HCI leads to the design of computer systems which is suitable for user’s needs, commonly known as usability. Usability helps systems easy to use and to learn either by individuals or groups. The research is conducted to analyze and evaluate the usability of video games. There are ten usability principles made by Nielsen (1993). However, only eight principles are relevant to be used as variables in evaluating the usability of games. This study uses a questionnaire as a research instrument with a Likert scale as the scale of measurement.Results show that from eight usability variables, video games meet the 7 from 8 variables of usability indicated that video games are generally usable. In order to increase usability, convenience, and satisfaction of video games, it’s recommended to improve "recognition rather than recall" aspect.Keywords : Computers, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), video games, usability

Abstract

Maturity  Level  merupakan  sebuah  metode  pada  Framework  COBIT  (Control  Objectivitas  for Information  and  Related  Technology  yang  dapat  mengukur  tingkat  skala  kematangan  dari  sebuah  sistem. Pemanfaatkan teknologi informasi seperti E-learning dapat meningkatkan efektifitas dan fleksibilitas dalam proses  belajar  mengajar,  Dengan  mengukur  tingkat  maturity  level  pada  E-learning  di  SMK  Labor  Binaan FKIP  Universitas  Riau,  dapat  membantu  pengguna  dan  manajemen  dalam  pengambilan  keputusandengan efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi, serta dapat mengontrol penggunaan teknologi informasi  yang  mendukung  penggunaan  E-learning.  Sehingga  dapat  mencapai  tujuan  yang  diharapkan berdasarkan  rencana  strategi  dan  rekomendasi  yang  diperoleh  dari  hasil  pengukuran  tingkat  maturitylevel.

Abstract

Kampar Regency - Riau Province is believed to have large potential for biomass energy, but has not been optimally utilized due to lack of baseline data. This article presents the result of a biomass energy resource assessment in Kampar Regency that used resource-based approach with basic statistical method. The procedure from Biomass Energy Europe was applied to assess the potential of forest biomass, energy crops, agricultural residues and organic wastes. The total theoretical potential of biomass energy in Kampar Regency is 127,635,417.90 GJ/year where 97.933% come from agricultural residues, 2.066% forest biomass and 0.001% organic waste. In this study the agricultural residues also included residues from plantations (oil palm and coconut) and animal residues (cow, buffalo, goat, and poultry). Oil palm contributes to 88.15%, followed by chickens and ducks (5.28%), rice and maize (3.77%), and primary forest residues (2%). The oil palm fronds are the largest contributor i.e. 58.8% of the total oil palm potential and 51.8% of the total biomass energy potential in Kampar Regency.Keywords – biomass, energy, Kampar, potential, Statistics.

Abstract

Measuring the strategy implementation based on numbers of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) is no longer adequate. The role of knowledge process is believed to be able to enhance this process through the involvement of stakeholders in solving the strategy implementation problems. To measure this achievement, a new framework has been studied and justified through interviews and surveys conducted within Malaysian Public Higher Education Institution. One of the important indicators proposed in this framework is the role of ICT. A statistical analysis through the application of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was shown how ICT can enhance the effectiveness of knowledge process, especially in utilizing knowledge (Knowledge Utilization Activity).This study aids the stakeholders in conducting several improvements and corrective actions towards their strategy implementation success.Keywords: ICT, Knowledge Process, Problem Solving, Strategy Implementation Success

Abstract

One program management agency is distributing zakat free educational assistance (Sekolah Juara)for prospective elementary school students and junior high school. Problems in this free education aid,many criteria must be considered as well as the determination of the potential recipients of the group wasnot able to (very poor and poor). This study uses Principal Component Analysis to categorize recipientsinto three groups: very poor, poor and not poor. Furthermore, the very poor and poor sorted to obtainsequence receiver using Fuzzy Analitycal Hierarchical Process. There are 7 criteria and 4 poor groupingcriteria used for determining as a result of the decision. The results of calculations can be concluded thatthe application of the method Principal Component Analysis and Fuzzy Hierarchical Process Analitycalmulticriteria problems can be taken, as in the case of classification and determination of free educationalassistance Sekolah Juara.Keywords: Fuzzy Analitycal Hierarchical Process, Principal Component Analysis
