Abstract

Tujuan pengembangan merupakan produk materi yang dibroadcast secara on-line pada pembelajaran berbasis web. Materi pada tree map merupakan solusi kesulitan pebelajar dalam memperoleh pengalaman belajar pada aktivitas on-line learning. Tree map merupakan salah satu dari bahasa visual umum peta konsep atau peta pemikiran dari 8 jenis yang ada yaitu circle map, tree map, bubble map, double bubble map, flow map, multi-flow map, brace map, dan bridge map. Pengembangan tree map telah melalui proses analisis, desain, pengembangan hingga proses validasi dan uji coba sesuai dengan model yang telah dikembangkan Gayle V. Davidson-Shivers & Karen L. Rasmussen (2006) dan menghasilkan kriteria valid yaitu, ahli media 85%, ahli materi 81%, uji coba lapangan 81,73%.
