Abstract

IT-based learning called e-learning is the process of transforming conventional education into digital form. Use of e-learning as a medium of learning is based on the characteristics of e-learning consists of non-linearity, self-managing, Feedback, interactivity, multimedia-style Leaners, Just in Time, Dynamic Updating, Accesibility and Colaborative Learning Easy. Using a descriptive design with questionnaires as research instruments. The number of sample of 100 respondents with a student population of the semester study program Information Systems 5 (five). It was concluded that the use of e-learning as a medium of learning at the University of Bina Darma in condition Quite Satisfied with the percentage of 60%. Eight characteristics: Non-linearity, self-managing, Just in Time, and Easy Self Accesibility already satisfied the conditions. While the characteristics of the feedback, interactivity, multimedia-style Leaners, Dynamic Updating, and Colaborative Learning has not satisfied the conditions. Abstract

Abstract: The online catalog is a catalog of the library system that uses a computer, a catalog can provide a collection of bibliographic information. Catalogs are typically designed to simplify the user. In this research will be made a prototype online library catalog search application that utilizes semantic web technologies. Semantic web technologies allow describing objects and repositories in the form of ontology. Ontology represents semantic levels for knowledge ontology containing semantic entities instead of words. The application was built using JSP (Java Server Page) web based programming. Application of semantic web technologies in the study was able to provide results to the user with the information presented richer. Keywords: Semantic Web,Catalog, JSP

Abstract

The use of information technology is growing due to the condition of the business environment is changing rapidly, so the ability to get information immediately have a competitive advantage. To achieve competitive advantage, company or organization needs to build IT (Information Technology) Master Plan that governs all investment policies and implementation of information technology. Bina Darma University is one of the colleges that run the education system by utilizing information technology, in accordance with the vision and mission of a university-based international berstrandar technology in 2025. To achieve the mission and vision needed IT Masterplan that can serve as guidelines in the investment and implementation of IT in Universitas Bina Darma. IT Development Masterplan is to use SWOT analysis to determine the strength of the IT map in Universitas Bina Darma. Research results indicate is necessary to develop the Master Plan refers to the information technology business strategy and strategic management of IS / IT. Informatics Engineering Program Bina Darma University to convey information to students not yet have the most effective media, so that information such as exam schedules or thesis proposal, or thesis proposal examination scores, courses, syllabus / SAP, articles, free software, proposal / thesis , suggestions and questions, announcements, news regarding academic and other matters Information Engineering Program Bina Darma University can not be delivered quickly to the students or the community at large. So one way to convey information through or use Oneline Information System. Submission of information through the Online Information System can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Cooperative Teacher Junior High School 53 in Palembang, a cooperative which is engaged in the savings and loan services. Role in the activities of the cooperative system komputersasi immense benefits, which in faster data processing and in accordance with the expected goals. However, the cooperative teacher at Junior High School 53 in Palembang is conducting recording data on cooperatives is still as simple as how to record all the data using the book, so that with the increasing number of members as well as data to be processed it will have obstacles to manage data these, it is necessary for the existence of accounting information systems, computer-based cooperative teachers, which the system will be able to speed up the process of cooperative service teachers at junior High School 53 Palembang, the author will build cooperative information systems accounting teachers using programming languages PHP and MySQL use these applications are expected to help data processing teachers cooperative and easier to get information quickly and accurately. Abstract

Some of the technologies are currently implemented, among others, technologies Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) and Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi). The second technology is a wireless networking technology that is being rapidly adopted. When this is not the only computer connected to the internet but everyday appliances such as cellular phones, PDAs, and so well connected to the internet. Conducted research aimed to compare the use of WiMAX technology and Wi-Fi interms of service, coverage, standards, frequency speed of both technologies. This research uses the method of collecting data from the literature that the author got from the book and some sources from the internet. Abstract

Web service uses XML technology to exchange data in. Form of security is applied to web services is to use public-key cryptography techniques. The attack can be a reconnaissance, destruction or theft of data. The implementation was done by using the security library will provide facilities in developinga. Web security service for the library support XMLSEC as library supporters and library class_wssthat have been builtable to overcome the problem of security on the transport path, especially forauthentication, authorization, and confidentiality request SOAP message. Model WS-Security usingXMLSignature, XMLEncryption, andSecurityTokenwhich utilizesthe cryptographic algorithm RSA with1024 bitkey lengt hto provide protection against transmission of data between client and server web service. The results obtain edare SOAP request messages encrypted and decryptedable to pitch well and signed and checked their authenticity.
