Abstract

Bina Darma University Library has a large collection of books that are highly qualified. This facility has been used by students to increase knowledge, but there are students who are be lazy to visit the library just to see the collection of books available in the library of the University of Bina Darma. Therefore needed a mobile digital library applications. This application can facilitate student at the University of Bina Darma Palembang in obtaining information about libraries like to see a collection of books and order books anywhere and anytime without having to come Librarianship. Mobile digital library application will use the Rational Unified Process (RUP) as a system development method for building these applications. Of the existing problems, then on to a topic that can be lifted into the discussion with the title "Digital Library Mobile Applications Bina Darma University Palembang Method Using Rational Unified Process (RUP)".

Abstract

Panti Sosial Bina Daksa Budi Perkasa Palembang, is one of the technical implementation unit of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic Indonesia, which handles issues for persons with disabilities, the principal task of carrying out physical development, mental, social, vocational training, and re-socialization and further training. Beneficiary assessment system (client) used still manual. Yet there is a computerized system that was built specifically to manage the value of potential beneficiaries. It required a special system that can calculate the results of an assessment of the potential beneficiaries FMADM method. FMADM chosen method because this method determines the weight values for each attribute, followed by a ranking process that will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. With this system can help section of the rehabilitation staff in selecting beneficiaries and help section chief in determining who the beneficiaries will get service restored.

Abstract

Social media as a trend in the Internet is now used as a medium for political campaigns. Author explores the advantages and social media implementation of any political party in Indonesia legislative elections 2014. Author visited and analyzed social media used by the contestants, such as: Facebook, and Twitter. Author collected data from social media until the end of April 2014. This article discusses the use of social media by political parties and their features. The results of this study indicate that social media are: 1) effective tool for current and future political campaigns, 2) reach the voters and supporters instantly, 3) used by Political parties to show their logo/icon, and 4) last but not least quick count results also show that political parties which using social media as part of their campaigns won the legislative elections.

Abstract

Motivations that drive people to participate actively in an organization include the opportunity to get ahead. Opportunity to advance in an organization called the promotion (raising position). A promotion also means removal from a position to another position that has a status and a higher responsibility. Job promotion is one part of the placement program conducted by the company. For the companies looking for employees who have no qualifications assessed in accordance with the needs of the new positions needed to be promoted. To analyze employees according to particular occupations performed by the method of profile matching, where in this process must first determine competence (skills) needed by an office. In the process of matching profile outline a process of comparing an individuals competency in job competency so as to know the difference competence (also called GAP).

Abstract

The development of computer network technology as a medium for data communications to this increase. The need for the use of shared resources on the network both software and hardware has resulted in the emergence of a variety of network technology development itself. Along with the high level of need and the increasing number of network users who want some form of network that can deliver maximum results, in terms of both efficiency and increase network security itself, the improvement efforts continue to be made by the various parties. One measure of the quality of the computer network management and network security is good. By it because they needed a real action to create a system management and network security is good. So with the management and security of the network that will either guide to good computer network.

Abstract

This study aims to study on user acceptance levels of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) UBD. Evaluation to see how far the system is functioning properly in accordance with its function so that the system supports the task effectively. This evaluation provides information on the perception of users that can be entered for UBD in developing HRIS in the future. The model used is Human - Organization - Technology (HOT) Fit Model. The components include human (system use and user satisfaction), organization (structure and environment), technology (system quality, information quality and service quality). Instrument research using questionnaires, scoring by using a Likert scala. Retrieved fact that, variable human, organization and technology, and a significant positive effect on the acceptance of the performance of HRIS UBD. Factors affecting the successive visits of the loading factor is variable technology (0.541 (0.001)), human variables (0.308 (0.001)), and the organization variable (0.220 (0.027)).

Abstract

Information technology management is processes and structures that control and direct relationship of a companys organization in achieving the organizations goals by adding value that information technology and the process can be balanced with the risks . This study will result in recommendations that information technology in organizations , specially information technology services in the academic private college in the city of Palembang , where the activities of the academic services are the responsibility of integrated service unit of each college . The design of information technology in this study using the COBIT framework version 4.0 . The chosen domain is the domain Deliver and Support ( DS ) and Monitor and Evaluate ( ME ) is intended to make information technology management recommendations.
