Abstract

Banking performance has decreased on average in terms of credit quality, liquidity, ability to generate net interest income, and profitability in the last two years. This indicates an increase in credit risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, and bank profitability risk. This study contributes in providing an explanation regarding banking performance which can lead to a decline in profitability that can influence investment decision making by investors in terms of the performance of the issuer. This research is included in the category of quantitative research with a sample of commercial banks in Indonesia selected based on purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the lower the credit risk the higher the bank's profitability, the higher the interest rate risk the higher the bank's profitability, and the liquidity risk which has a significant positive effect on the performance of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016-2018 period.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze factors influencing student decisions, in selecting management major. Sample of this research is 422 students from colleges in Jambi City. The data collection method is using questionnaires, analyzed using SmartPLS. The results showed that college major has a direct effect on the image of college. College major has an indirect, significant, positive effect on attitude. College’s image, social, perception and motivation has a direct effect on attitude. College’s major positively, significantly and indirectly affect student’s decision, through college’s image and attitude as an intervening variables. College’s image, social, and motivation affect student’s decision positively, significantly through attitude. Attitude and perception has a significant, positive, direct effect on student’s decision. In developing its marketing strategy, a colege’s institution needs to pay attention to factors that affecting student’s decision, improving its image through major without ignoring other aspects, that is by developing its curriculum, services, and lecture’s qualification. Furthermore, a college institution needs to maintain a good relationship with student’s parents and alumni, as well as improving student’s academic and non academics achievement. Simirlarly, student’s motivation needs to be improved as to form a positive attitude and perception in order to make a profound decision.

Abstract

Customer's purchase decision is company's hope to sell product. To persuade customers to buy, company is willing to give the best quality of their product, also to give the special price, and to give maximum satisfaction to the customer. Therefore, this research was conducted to know the effect of product quality, price, and customer's satisfaction on customer's purchase decision partially and simultaneously. This research's method is quantitative descriptive analysis. The population are 258 customers who bought company's product, then become 72 repondents by the Slovin formula as samples. We use F test, T test, multiple linear regression, and classic assumption test as data analysis techniques using SPSS version 20 program. Data results show that partially, product quality and price have significant effect on customer's purchase decision. While customer's satisfaction doesn't have significant effect on customer's purchase decisions. Simultaneously, product quality, price, and sarisfaction have significant effect on customer's purchase decision. Customer's purchase decision can be explained by product quality, price, and customer's satisfaction by 46,50%, the rest 53,50% is explained by other variables that are not being researched.

Abstract

Tax avoidance is a tax avoidance strategy carried out by taxpayers in a legal and safe manner and does not conflict with tax laws. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability, leverage, company size and independent commissioners on tax avoidance. The research population is Food and Baverage companies listed on the IDX in 2016-2019. Sampling using purposive sampling method obtained a sample of 11 companies with an observation period of 4 years so that a total of 44 samples. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, it is found that profitability and company size have an influence on tax avoidance. Meanwhile, the leverage variable and independent commissioner do not have an effect on tax avoidance.

Abstract

One of the labor problems is the availability of job opportunities which are very limited, while the number of workforce is increasing. This type of research used in this research is quantitative. The data used in this research is panel data with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. This data uses 35 districts / cities in Central Java Province from 2014-2019. The results showed that economic growth and inflation did not have a significant effect on employment in Central Java Province in 2014-2019. Meanwhile, Regional Minimum Wage and Human Development Index have a positive and significant effect on employment in Central Java Province in 2014-2019. The implications that can be given are the need to improve the quality of the population in Central Java Province. To increase the Human Development Index, it is possible to facilitate access to health and education facilities at affordable prices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, asset structure, company size, and tax avoidance on capital structure. The population in this study is the food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) 2016-2019. The sample was selected from the purposive sampling method and got a sample of 10 companies from several criteria. The data source is secondary data from the website www.idx.co.id. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that profitability affects the capital structure. Meanwhile, liquidity, asset structure, company size and tax avoidance have no effect on capital structure.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness, contribution, local retribution on local revenue and the level of independence of Kota Pariaman. The data analysis method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis method. This method is a method of analysis by using the calculation of the financial data obtained to solve problems in accordance with the research objectives. The average level of regional independence in Kota Pariaman during 2014-2018 is 6.09% with a pattern of instructive relationships. It can be seen that the level of regional independence of Kota Pariaman is very low, only around 6% during 2014 to 2018 with a pattern of instructive relationships. This means that the city of Pariaman is very dependent on financial assistance from the center. the role of the central government is more dominant than the independence of the regional government.

Abstract

Unplanned purchases usually arise due to several factors, it could be price, lifestyle or following the push of a certain trend. Research on the effect of price discount, shopping lifestyle and fashion involvement on impulse buying on consumers Karita Muslim Square Purwokerto. This research is a quantitative study using 100 respondents who are consumers of Karita Muslim Square Purwokerto. This research uses multiple linear regression. The results show that price discount shopping lifestyle and fashion involvement have a positive and significant effect on impulse buying on consumers of Karita Muslim Square Purwokerto. The variable has a significant effect on impulse buying on Karita Muslim Square Purwokerto consumers. The variable has a significant effect on impulse buying on Karita Muslim Square Purwokerto consumers. Making shopping fun for consumers while still paying attention to purchases, this can be done by selecting the appropriate price, and products that are in accordance with trends or that are being liked by certain groups are fundamental to both consumers and producers

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the impact of profitability, leverage, liquidity, company size and asset structure on firm value in the company of sub-sector property and real estate listed on the Stock Exchange Indonesia period in 2015-2019. The population of this research is the entire property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the IDX. The sampel selection in this research using purposive sampling with certain criteria thus obtained 38 samples of data to be researched. The data used are secondary obtained from financial report. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that liquidity, company size, and asset structure affect on firm value. Meanwhile profitability and leverage do not affect on firm value in the company sub-sector property and real estate period 2015-2019

Abstract

The objective of the study is to test and analyze the effect of sales, current liabilities, working capital and inventory circulation on the net profit of industry consumption goods listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2014- 2018. The research used in a quantitative research approach and the nature of this research is a causal research. The research populations were all companies of industry consumption listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange totaling 23 companies. The research sample were 115 data, drawn by purposive sampling technique. The research data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis using F test and the T test and the coefficient of determination was obtained by the value of adjusted R Square meaning that the variations in variables of sales, current liabilities, working capital and inventory circulation, while were explained by other independent variables, by testing the classic assumption using SPSS 23. The research finding showed that partially sales, current liabilities and working capital had a significant effect on net income while inventory circulation had no effect to net income in industry consumption goods listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2014- 2018. Simultaneosly sales, current liabilities, working capital, inventory goods had a significant effect on net income in industry consumption goods listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2014-2018.
