Abstract

This article explained what was viewed as ritual worship; pray  and fasting to embed noble character. The purpose of worship in Islam are: (a) to strengthen belief and dedication to Allah; (b) to strengthen character, disciplining personality and his role as the agent trusted by  Allah on  earth;  (c) to strengthen  friend ship  and affection among  Muslim;  (d) to train spiritual and moral. Character occupies crucial role in human’s life, as individual as well as society member. It is because the fall and raise of the nation depends on how its society character.  The  whole  of  worship  system  in  Islam  has  close  relation  with  character founding  and  the  performance  of  ritual  worship  influences  noble  character,  because  good worship performance without having noble character will not useful. Abstrak Artikel ini menjelaskan apa yang dimaksud dengan ibadah ritual yaitu shalat dan puasa dalam menanamkan akhlak mulia. Tujuan ibadah dalam Islam yaitu: (a) Memperkuat keyakinan dan pengabdian kepada Allah. (b) Menguatkan karakter, mendisiplinkan diri dan peranannya sebagai wakil dan hamba yang dipercaya Allah di bumi. (c) Memperkuat tali persaudaraan dan kasih sayang diantara sesama muslim (d) Latihan spiritual dan moral. Kedudukan akhlak dalam kehidupan manusia menempati tempat yang sangat penting sekali, baik sebagai individu maupun sebagai anggota masyarakat. Sebab jatuh bangunya suatu bangsa akan tergantung pada bagaimana akhlak warganya. Seluruh sistem peribadatan dalam Islam mempunyai hubungan yang erat dengan pembinaan akhlak dan pelaksanaan ibadah ritual berpengaruh terhadap akhlak karimah, karena ibadah yang baik tanpa akhlak yang mulia ibadah itu tidak akan berguna

Abstract

The influence of work motivation and job satisfaction are very important in influencing the performance. This study was aimed to assess the effect of motivation and job satisfaction conducted to the teachers of Muhammadiyah Vocational School (SMK) of Salatiga performances with the total sample of 52 teachers. From the data analysis, it shows that the effect of motivation and job satisfaction to teachers performance in Muhammadiyah Vocational School (SMK) of Salatiga is significant with the significance of 0,003 0,05. Fvalue of 6,378, and effective contribution of 20,7%.

Abstract

Multicultural was resulted from the effect of intersection of individual right among society or civil right in state. Multicultural as the base essence is able to resist the violence existence. This research used Research and Development (RD) method. This research showed that: (a) the modernization progress in Salatiga  influenced the shifting of social life in the students social environment. (b) Communication and Broadcasting of Islam Department (KPI) of Dakwah Faculty positively appreciated model of multicultural character development in civic education learning because it was regarded as innovative model and appropriate with the environment of social society of students. (c) Model of multicultural character development was effective to develop the awareness of tolerant among students. (d) Lecturers were able to deliver civic education material using this model. (e) The supremacy of this model was in the learning objective, affective aspect became the main target, while cognitive and psychomotor aspect became proponent factor. Abstrak Multikultural merupakan bentuk sikap persinggungan hak individu dalam masyarakat. Multikultural sebagai ukuran esensial yang mampu meminimalisisr terjadinya kekerasan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (RD). Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa: (a) Kemajuan kota Salatiga terhadap modernisasi yang mempengaruhi pada bergesernya kehidupan bermasyarakat di lingkungan sosial mahasiswa. (b) Jurusan KPI Fakultas Dakwah menyambut positif model pengembangan karakter multikultural dalam pembelajaran civic education karena dianggap inovatif. (c) Model pengembangan karakter multikultural efektif meningkatkan kesadaran bertoleransi mahasiswa. (d) Dosen memiliki kompetensi untuk dapat menyampaikan materi kuliah civic education menggunakan model pengembangan karakter multikultural. (e) Keunggulan model ini terletak pada tujuan pembelajaran, aspek afektif menjadi target utama sementara aspek kognitif dan aspek psikomotor menjadi faktor pendukung.

Abstract

This article specifically discusses the pattern of Islamic construction which is expected to make up the individual identity and marks them as Muslim, both are shown in their behavior. Behavior looks like walking, eating, drinking, communicating with teachers, parents, friends and others. While the inner behavior proposed by Frank Burton Cheyne is sincere, don't envy and other commendable attitudes rising from their inner feeling. From variety of thoughts above, the construction of the Islamic religion, addressed to children will be able to provide a steady view oflife based on the values of Islam, and they were also able to get used to think, behave according to the norms of Islam or personality in accordance with the teachings of Islam although they have a different default factors.Abstrak Artikel ini secara spesifik membahas tentang pola keberagamaan Islam yang diharapkan mampu membenahi kepribadian individu dan menandai mereka sebagai Muslim, dua hal tersebut nampak dalam tingkah laku mereka. Tingkah laku seperti berjalan, makan, minum, hubungan dengan guru, orang tua, teman-teman, dan yang lainya. Sedangkan menurut Frank Burton Cheyne memaknai tingkah laku batiniah sebagai keiklasan, tidak iri, dan sikap terpuji lain yang muncul dari dalam perasaan mereka. Dari berbagai pendapat diatas, pengajaran agama islam yang diberikan kepada anak-anak mampu memberikan pandangan hidup yang kuat berdasarkan nilai keislaman dan mereka mampu terbiasa berfikir, dan bertindak berdasarkan norma keislaman atau pribadi berdasarkan ajaran islam meskipun mereka mempunyai faktor kesulitan yang berbeda.

Abstract

Multicultural education focuses on the process of developing Islamic boarding school students’ ability to comprehend, admit, respect, and live harmonically and peacefully in different reality. Islamic boarding school has important role to internalize multicultural values. This research was aimed to know the internalization of multicultural education among Islamic boarding school students in the Islamic boarding school Organization for female at State Islamic Studies Institute (STAIN) Jember. This research used qualitative approach where the tutor, committee, and thestudents of this organization became the research subject. This research revealed that the internalization of multicultural education in curriculum was implemented in diniyah and Islamic literature study (kajian kitab) by integrating multicultural values in the study ofTaisirul Kholaq, Tadhib, Al-Akhlaqu Lil Banats, Fiqhun nisa, Kifayatu al-atsqiya, and Fathul Qorib book. Integration of multicultural value in educational process was implemented in some matters: (1) creating Islamic boarding school culture that respected the difference; (2) Educational activity implemented by kyai emphasized on the importance of honor aspect toward humanity. (3) The enactment of regulation and punishment dedicated to all students, without seeing their background and socio-economic status.

Abstract

This research was aimed to reveal strategy of society communication development  within Qoryah Thoyyibah farmer association, through the farmer effort to increase organic rice plant commodity. This  research  used  descriptive  qualitative  approach  and  method  where  the  data  were  collected through observation, interview, documentation, and it also used triangulation of resource, data, and theory.  The  research  subjects  were  the  member  and  the  committee  of  Qoryah  Toyyibah  farmer association at Kalibening, Tingkir  district of Salatiga city. Through society empowerment, farmer association  of  organic  rice  plant  commodity  economically  has  raised  their  welfare  better  through cooperatives  system  where  it  becomes  the  alternative  activity  in  management  especially  about financial that involves farmer crop starting from planting process, maintenance process, up to crop yield management. Moreover, the strategy of society communication of farmer association was able to  strengthen  the  friendship  among  the  member  by  implementing   Javanese  culture  philosophy, mutual assistance, friendly and peaceful communication in monthly meeting conducted. Abstrak Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan mengungkap strategi pengembangan komunikasi masyarakat Kelompok Tani Qoryah Toyyibah melalui usaha para petani untuk meningkatkan komoditas tanaman padi organik. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif diskritif, melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dengan menggunakan trianggulasi sumber, data, dan teori. Subjek telitinya adalah anggota dan pengurus kelompok tani Qoryah Toyyibah di Kalibening Kecamatan Tingkir Kota Salatiga. Melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat kelompok tani komoditas tanaman padi organik ini secara ekonomis meningkatkan kesejahteraan dengan hasil yang baik melalui sistem perkoperasian sebagai wadah aktifitas dalam manajemen terutama masalah keuangan. Berangkat dari proses menjelang penanaman, proses perawatan, sampai manajemen hasil panen, selain, strategi komunikasi masyarakat mampu mempererat tali silaturahim antaranggota, dengan selalu menjunjung tinggi nilai falsafah budaya Jawa, gotong royong, guyub, rukun dalam bentuk dan cara diadakannya pertemuan rutin bulanan.

Abstract

This article reveals about self motivation of KPI Student and study on new courses, both in psychological and social and social anthropologist confronting a range of very different situations. The psychological and social situation diversity and social anthropologist of KPI students is closelyrelated to motivation and expectation which is varied. There is also the motivation from student to fulfill the knowledge of the world of communications and broadcasting which is related with the educational background of his secondary education, or he wants to continue his hobby in the broadcasting world. Dealing with the eager expectation or the big dream of KPI Student is divided into some expectation; The hope dealing with the learning process and supporting material from the learning process, and the expectation of their future after graduating from this department as a Bachelor of communication and broadcasting connected with employment chance the expectation in the process of teaching or educating for example, most students of KPI IAIN Salatiga needs somefacilitation dealing with communications technology and the broadcasting technology such as, cameras, handy camp, and radio station.
