Abstract

Based on Health Law No. 36 of 2009 article 164 regarding occupational health, it is explained that occupational health efforts are aimed at protecting workers so that they live healthy and avoid health problems and bad effects caused by work, and recovery and bear all the costs of maintaining the health of workers. The protection is intended so that workers can safely carry out their daily work to increase national production and productivity. Workers must obtain protection from various problems around and on themselves that can override and interfere with themselves and their implementation. According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or personal protective equipment (PPE) is defined as a tool used to protect workers from injury or illness caused by contact with hazards in the workplace, either chemical, biological, radiation, physical, electrical, mechanical and others. PT. Pindo Deli Pulp Paper Products is a large national private paper industry located in Kuta Mekar Village Btb. 69 Ciampel, Karawang, West Java, Indonesia. The performance of the use of PPE for shoes is good, the type of mask is good, the type of helmet is quite good, the type of ear plug and gloves is not good.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTStock problems caused by incorrect production planning can be overcome by forecasting the production schedule so that the production planning schedule is accurate in the future. Future production planning will make it easier for the company in the process of determining the strategy and also the supply of raw materials needed. The object of this research focuses on office furniture products. The forecasting method used in this research consists of 2 (two) forecasting methods, namely Naive and Single Exponential Smoothing. The production schedule forecasting calculation is expected to be able to answer the problems that exist in the company. The determination of an accurate production schedule is determined by the results of the forecasting calculation with the smallest forecast error value as the final result of the study. Application of Single Exponential Smoothing Method on Office Furniture forecasting at PT. Katwara produces a data pattern that is close to or follows the pattern of production demand data, while the data pattern from the Naïve Method tends to be different from the production data. This happens because there is a difference in the calculation of the forecast value between the Naïve method and the Single Exponential Smoothing Method.The Exponential Smoothing method has a better accuracy rate than the Naïve method. The forecast error value of the Single Exponential Smoothing method is ME 2,316, MAD 59.575, MSE 5398.23 and MAPE 35.96%. While the Naïve method has a ME value of 4.067, MAD 68.2, MSE 7206.07 and MAPE 39.25%. The results of the forecasting of the Single Exponential Smoothing method can be a picture of the company in planning for the production of office furniture products in the future as well as being a reference in the appropriate raw material inventory strategy. Keywords: Forecast error, Naive, MAD, ME, MSE, MAPE, Office furniture, Single Exponential Smoothing

Abstract

River flow is one of the renewable energy sources that can be used for micro hydro power plant "screw Archimedes". Archimedes screw turbine design and manufacture is being developed for micro hydro power generation. Archimedes screw turbines can be operated at low heads. In Indonesia, especially the province of North Sumatra, it has great potential considering the large number of streams in the mountains or hills so that the surrounding community will later be able to take advantage of the relatively small currents of the existing rivers, when applied to river flows that have a relative height of 0.5 meters to 1 meter even though on the water that flows a little wavy, the screw turbine can of course be used, that is the advantage of the PLTMH tool. The geometry of the screw turbine is determined by external parameters, namely the outer radius, turbine length and laying slope and internal parameters, namely the radius in the number of blades.External parameters are usually determined by head and discharge. The purpose of this research is the manufacture of a laboratory-scale screw turbine micro-hydro power plant, producing a screw turbine installation for experimental studies of laboratory-scale micro-hydro power plants. Furthermore, this installation will be used for tests on external parameters and internal parameters of the Archimedes screw turbine. The result of the design and manufacture of a screw turbine on a laboratory scale is a screw turbine model made using angled iron material and an iron plate with a geometric shape of two blades, the number of turns is 6, the turbine length is 870 mm with a blade distance of 290 mm.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe pattern of data from Cooking Oil Production is very volatile, making it difficult for companies to determine the number of products that will be produced in the future, followed by the difficulty of determining the amount of stock of raw materials provided to meet production needs. Cooking Oil at CV Amaly is made by order only so that future production planning will make it easier for the company in the process of determining strategy and also the supply of raw materials needed. The object of this research focuses on products of the 400ml, 900ml, and 1800ml Gading Sakti pouch types without paying attention to other products. The forecasting method used in this research consists of 3 (three) forecasting methods, namely Single Exponential Smoothing, Moving Average, and Naive method. Forecasting calculations are expected to facilitate the company in the process of determining the strategy and also the inventory of raw materials needed. Forecasting accurate production results is determined by the results of casting calculations with the smallest forecast error value as the final result of the study. The application of the Single Exponential Smoothing Method to forecasting the production of cooking oil for Pounch Gading Sakti 400ml and 1800ml produces data patterns that approach or follow the pattern of production demand data, while the data patterns from the Moving Average Method and the Naïve method tend to be different from the production data. This happens because there is a difference in the calculation of the forecast value between the Naïve method and the Single Exponential Smoothing Method. Meanwhile, for Punch Gading Sakti cooking oil, in 900 ml packaging, the Moving Average method produces a data pattern that is closer to or following the pattern of production demand data than the data pattern of the Moving Average Method and the Nave method. The Exponential Smoothing method has a better accuracy rate than the Moving Average and Nave methods for forecasting Pounch Gading Sakti 400ml and 1800ml. The forecast error value of the Single Exponential Smoothing Pounch Gading Sakti method is 400ml and 1800ml, respectively, 28.59%, 21.89%. The forecast error value of the Moving Average Pounch Gading Sakti method is 400ml and 1800ml, respectively, 29.03% and 24.16%. The forecast error value for the Naïve Pounch Gading Sakti method is 400ml and 1800ml, respectively, 32.74% and 23.90%. Meanwhile, for Pounch Gading Sakti 900 ml, the Moving Average method has a better level of accuracy than the Exponential Smoothing method and the Naïve method. become a reference in the appropriate raw material inventory strategy. As for the production of Punch Gading Sakti cooking oil 900 ml, the results of the Moving Average method forecasting can be a picture of the company in the future as well as a reference in the appropriate raw material inventory strategy. Keywords: Forecast error, Naïve, MAPE, Moving Average, Single Exponential Smoothing

Abstract

UKM Tahu Haji Mamad is an industry that is engaged in making tofu and the main raw material is soybeans.This study aimed at determining the quality control of product, the most common types defect in product, the factors in causing defect in product, the action that should be taken to prevent the defect of product at UKM Tahu Haji Mamad by using Statistical Processing Control. this type of research is descriptive with quantitative approach. Collectingdata using interviews and observations, data analysis techniques using four tools ofquality control, the check sheet, histogram, a causal diagram, and a control chart p. Defective products in the finished product every time it isproduced indicates that the quality control carried out by UKM tofu Haji Mamad is still not optimal.Observations and observations made at the Haji Mamad Tofu Factory for 10 days found manydefective products which every day averaged around 46 tofu products.The results showed there arefive types of damage to the product know, that smell, texture,hard, soft texture, there are dirt, and thewrong cut. The most dominant is the kind ofdamage a hard texture, which is about 41.74% compared to all the damage knew theothers. Abstract

Water is a very important source of energy needed by living things. Water has the property of flowing from a higher place to a lower place. Therefore it is necessary to optimize using a water pump to drain water to the desired place according to needs. In general, pumps that are used to move water from one place to another are generally used by an electric motor to rotate the pump. In maintaining the optimal level, an electric motor capacity that is in accordance with the pump capacity is needed. Determination of this capacity is related to the amount of motor power required to drive the pump. With a good motor capacity, the efficiency of the pump can be increased. Based on the calculation of the total head in the piping system at the sandfilter tank pump, it is 18,708 m with a power of 5.06 kW and the working efficiency of the electric motor for the sandfilter tank is 67.46%.Keywords  : Efficiency Electric Motor, Centrifugal Pump, Water, Head Loss

Abstract

COVID-19 is the biggest health problem happening in the world today, this virus with its fast spread and strong resistance has claimed many lives. One way to prevent the spread of this virus quickly is to break the chain of its spread, and always comply with the COVID-19 Health protocol. Some examples of the COVID-19 Health Protocol are the use of masks, normal body temperature, always washing hands, and others. However, public awareness of compliance is still very low, so the COVID-19 pandemic has not ended until now. The best solution at this time is to monitor and ensure the use of COVID-19 Health protocols. However, with current technological advances and minimizing human contact, the author has designed a MASK USE REMINDER SYSTEM WITH MASK DETECTION ON THE FACE that uses machine learning technology to prevent human contact. With this tool, the author hopes to suppress the spread of COVID-19 and to end it so that all people can return to their normal activities without being disturbed by the virus.

Abstract

Badan Pusat Statistik pada tahun 2010 tercatat sampai dengan 237.641.326 jiwa, sedangkan pada 2020 mencapai 270.203.917 jiwa, dimana berarti kenaikan mencapai 32.562.591 jiwa dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun.Timbunan sampah Indonesia pada tahun 2021 saja mencapai 26.445.796,14 ton, dan 36,13% diantaranya merupakan sampah yang belum terkelola.(Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Sampah Nasional, 2021). Bagaimana memanfaatkan sisa pembakaran Mengetahui desain alat yang dapat mengelola sampah organik dengan minim polusi.. Mengetahui pengaruh pipa dari jarak tungku pembakaran menuju blower. Sebagai sarana masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah lebih lanjut. Untuk mengurangi polusi udara, tanah, ataupun air yang disebabkan oleh sampah maupun pengelolahannya yang kurang tepat. Dikarena banyaknya sampah yang masih tidak diolah dapat menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan “pencemaran terjadi karena tidak ada proses yang benar-benar 100% efisien, selalu ada sisa residu/limbah”(Gina Lova Sari, 2016: 22).karna permasalahan yang ada, perlu ada tindakan lebih lanjut seperti membuat alat pembakar sampah dengan meminimalisir polusi yang dihasilkan. Setelah melakukan studi lapangan, maka bisa mengetahui identifikasi permasalahan apa saja yang ada di lapangan serta melanjutkan ke tahap membuat desain. Mula-mula menentukan konsep desain alat yang nantinya akan diadakan. Hasil tinjauan akan dilanjutkan pada pengadaan alat dan bahan apa saja yang dibutuhkan untuk membangun alat pembakar sampah. Menindaklanjuti pengujian alat yang sudah dapat bekerja dengan baik. Diadakan pengambilan data yang diperlukan seperti keefektifan proses pada alat yang terdiri dari waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk membakar habis sampah yang diolah, sampai larutnya asap pada media yang digunakan. Jika semua data yang dibutuhkan sudah didapatkan maka tahap terakhir adalah menarik kesimpulan dari data-data tersebut.Instalasi alat pembakar sampah organik ini digunakan sebagai penanganan lebih lanjut dengan tujuan agar meminimalisir gas buang yang ditimbulkan dari pembakaran sampah. Dilakukan pengurangan gas buang dengan cara pelarutan asap ke dalam tangki pencampuran yang berisikan air, dengan harapan dapat menghasilkan udara yang lebih bersih sesudah melalui proses tersebut. Pembakaran dilakukan dengan cara membakar sampah sebanyak 4Kg dengan perbandingan sampah basah dan sampah kering 1:1. Saat sampah terbakar dilakukan pengujian untuk mengetahui debit hasil pembakaran/menit (Qactual). Q blower(0,053 m3/s) lebih besar daripada Q aktual(0,00000038531 m3/s), sehingga Q aktual yang dihasilkan dapat dikategorikan aman karena tidak melebihi Q blower.Perancangan dan desain instalasi alat pembakar sampah organik menggunakan software Autocad 2017 dan dengan pekerjaan alatnya menghabiskan kurun waktu ± 3 bulan secara individu dan bantuan rekan-rekan serta pekerja, menghabiskan dana sekitar ± Rp. 5.000.000.- rupiah. Pengujian menggunakan Thermogun, pengambilan data berpusat pada pipa di dekat tungku pembakaran sebagai titik awal(40,3 derajat Celcius) serta di dekat blower sebagai titik akhir(37,1 derajat Celcius) pengukuran.

Abstract

When student candidates want to choose a major in STMIK Neumann, they have difficulties to choose the suitable major for them. Therefore, STMIK Neumaan must assist them by providing a decision support system to help them to make a suitable major. Data used by this decision support system must be taken from their results in enrollment test. The method used by this decision support system is to use Tsukamoto method in Fuzzy Logic. This system can display the result in a program which is suitable criteria by Tsukamoto method. The results of enrollment test is inputted to the system, and sequentially will be processed according the suitable criteria by application using Tsukamoto method. The output will display the suitable major for the student candidatse who take enrollment test in STMIK Neumann.

Abstract

Communication technology is currently growing rapidly, especially in the field of telecommunications. The rapid development of the internet and the development of multimedia applications require certain Quality of Services (QoS) requirements. However, ordinary IP networks are not designed to pass real-time multimedia services. Basically everyone who is connected to their network can exchange information and data between one person with another, be it images, sound, video, text and others, but if we use traditional telephone calls, in addition to expensive tariffs, geographical location is also important. determine the size of the costs to be incurred. Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is an innovative technology that makes the internet network or local computer network, as a medium for transmitting voice data packets so that users can communicate with each other. The test results on the Alpha Delay (Waiting Time) VOIP phone test is shorter than the WhatsApp phone, which is 17 seconds. So VoIP calls are 14 seconds superior to Whatsapp calls, taken from the difference between WhatsApp and VoIP delays, which is 17 Seconds - 3 Seconds = 14 Seconds. In Beta testing, all clients have been connected to the server and other clients. Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a relatively new technology in the world of telecommunications networks. MPLS technology allows packets to be in the system in a shorter time than IP networks, because in MPLS networks each packet is labeled which is then used as information for the switching process to replace the IP header in the routing process. The results obtained from this study are VoIP analysis of network signal strength on VoIP and the security of using telecommunications using wireless networks
