Abstract

This research is motivated by still many obstacles faced by teachers, including, not all teachers develop syllabus and plan for implementing learning  properly. In addition, the researchers also found that some teachers did not make plans for implementing learning in carrying out classroom learning, so the teacher taught without preparation at all. Then in the implementation of teaching and learning interactions, not all teachers use teaching aids and various learning models. The method used is less varied, only lectures and questions and answers. The purpose of this study was to improve teacher performance through supervision of class visits by principals. this research was conducted at SDN 26 Bathin Solapan. The subjects of this study were all six class teachers. This study uses school action research which consists of two cycles, with important stages such as planning, implementation, practice, and reflection. The results of the study prove that, there was an increase in assessment after supervision of class visits. The increase is as follows: in the first cycle the class I teacher got an average score of 71 while in the second cycle it increased to 86.3. Class II teacher, in the first cycle got an average score of 69.6, while the second cycle increased to 86.6. Class III teachers in the first cycle got an average score of 68.3, while the second cycle increased to 83.6. Grade IV teachers in the first cycle got an average score of 67, while the second cycle increased to 89. The fifth grade teacher in the first cycle got an average score of 69.6, while the second cycle increased to 87.3, and the class VI teacher in the first cycle got the average score. 72, while the second cycle increased to 89. From these results, researchers can conclude that by implementing supervision of class visits by principals can improve teacher performance at SDN 26 Bathin Solapan

Abstract

The teacher is a professional educator with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating and evaluating students in the formal education pathway, at the level of primary and secondary education. Therefore, increasing teacher discipline in carrying out tasks is very important in the smoothness and success of the school in achieving its objectives. However, based on preliminary observations, researchers still find teachers who are late to school for various reasons and there are still teachers who are late in class. Overcoming this problem researchers use the reward and punishment method. The results showed, in the first cycle, the average total of teachers who were late for school was 59.9% and the average teacher who was late for class in the teaching and learning process was 79.9%. after the second cycle, the results of observations of the discipline of teachers coming to school and attending classes showed a large increase, this was evidenced by the increased discipline of teachers in terms of attending school and being present on time in the teaching and learning process. The average value of teachers who attend school late in the second cycle dropped to 19.9% and the average value of teachers who were late to attend the class dropped to 26.6%. this result proves that by applying the reward and punishment model it can improve teacher discipline.

Abstract

The performance of good educators will be demonstrated quantitatively and qualitatively through the process of having responsibility in their profession. This performance will be relevant to their professionalism as teachers or educators. Educator performance development is a very decisive factor in the success of the education and learning process. In fact, at TK Rayon IV, Dumai City, there were still low competency standards possessed by educators. The intended competency standard is from the standard academic qualifications and four competencies that must be possessed by a kindergarten educator, namely pedagogic, professional, social and personality competencies. This is evidenced by educators not yet mastering learning material with the maximum known when the learning process educators are not able to explain well the subject matter, and educators have not shown maximum performance in carrying out their duties and functions. The purpose of this study is to see whether there is an influence between teacher professionalism on teacher performance at TK Rayon IV, Dumai City. The results of the study prove that the value of Sig (2-tailed) professionalism on the performance of educators is .768 with a significant level of results of 0.000, then the calculation shows that 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. This means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Statistically, it proves that there is a significant relationship between the professionalism of kindergarten educators and the performance of educators in TK Rayon IV, Dumai City

This research was conducted in two cycles, the steps in each cycle consisted of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The results showed, in the aspect of teacher attendance in the first cycle, only 5 people attended the workshop with a percentage of 83%, after the second cycle had increased to 100%. In the aspect of readiness of teacher materials in participating in the workshop as many as 4 people or 67% in the prepared category, after the second cycle it was increased to 100% ready category. The readiness aspect of laptops as much as 50% is ready and after the second cycle has increased to 83% the teacher is ready. The results of the teacher teaching assessment using the cooperative model in the first cycle, the average teacher gets a score of 67.8 in the good category, after the second cycle, the teacher's teaching assessment results increase to 86.5 in the excellent category. Abstract

Mathematics is one of the branches of science that has the most connection with other branches of science which function to advance students' thinking scientifically and construct new knowledge gained by students. Mathematics functions to develop the ability to communicate using numbers and symbols and sharpness of reasoning that can help clarify and solve problems in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to increase the mathematics learning outcomes of class I students of 018 Marsawa State Elementary School. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Based on observations, researchers found student learning outcomes were still relatively low. Students who complete mathematics learning or who achieve minimum completeness criteria are only 10 students or (45.4%) while students who do not complete or have not reached the minimum completeness criteria are 12 students or (54.5%). With a grade average of 56. To overcome this learning problem researchers used a demonstration learning model. The results of the study showed an increase in learning outcomes per cycle, when viewed from the initial data, the classical average value was 56 with a moderate category. After carrying out the first cycle the average value became 64.6 moderate categories and in the second cycle increased to 91.6 very good categories. Based on the results of the study researchers can conclude that by applying the demonstration method in Class I 018 Marsawa Elementary School Sentajo Raya District can improve student mathematics learning outcomes.

As for the results of the study, judging from the initial completeness, as many as 13 students or 43.3% of students who completed the Minimum Completion Criteria, while the students who were not completed were 17 students or 56.6% with a class average of 63.4. In the first cycle, as many as 21 students or 70% had completed reaching the Minimum Completion Criteria, while students who had not yet completed reached the Minimum Completion Criteria as many as 9 students or 30% with a class average value of 73.2. For the second cycle, as many as 26 students or 86.6% had completed reaching the Minimum Completion Criteria and only 4 students or 13.3% had not yet completed reaching the Minimum Completion Criteria.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a lack of teacher competency in preparing a plan for implementing learning. This can be seen, the teacher does not design a plan for implementing the learning itself and the teacher is not able to provide an evaluation of what has been taught. It is not uncommon for teachers to teach improperly (carelessly taking responsibility). The purpose of this study is to improve teacher competency in preparing a learning implementation plan. This study uses the School Action Research design. School Action Research is carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection, and carried out at least in two cycles. The results of the study prove that the assessment of the implementation plan for the learning of the Melayu Besar Elementary School 001 teachers in class IV and class V increased by 6 points or 30%. Whereas for the 002 Melayu Besar state Primary School in the fourth grade increased by 7 points or 35% and for class V increased by 5 points or 25%. Based on the results of the above research, researchers can conclude that by applying academic supervision can improve teacher competency in developing plans for implementing learning in the Melayu Besar 001 Elementary School and the Melayu Besar 002 Public Elementary School
