Abstract

This research is motivated by the low social studies learning outcomes of students. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying snowball throwing learning models. Where with this application is able to train students' leadership spirit, train students to learn independently, foster student learning creativity. This research was conducted at SDN 022 Pulau Baru Kopah. The subjects of the study were the third grade students, which consisted of 20 students consisting of 10 men and 10 women. The type of this research was classroom action research with a collaborative form. While this class action research procedure consists of, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed, the initial data completeness of social studies learning outcomes of students only 11 people or 55% of students who completed while 9 students or 45% did not complete. the first cycle by applying the snowball throwing cooperative learning model, student learning outcomes improved. This can be seen from 20 students, as many as 15 or 75% of students have been completed while 5 students or 25% of students have not been completed. In cycle II student learning outcomes increased again, this can be seen from the number of students who completed as many as 18 students or 90% while students who have not finished reduced to 2 students or 10%. The researcher can conclude that by applying the snowball throwing cooperative learning model can improve the social learning outcomes of students of SDN 022 Pulau Baruh Kopah

Abstract

Teachers play a very important role in improving the quality of education. Therefore, professional teachers are required to always improve their competence, one of them is social competence. Learning will not run well and effectively if the teacher is not able to develop social competence. The purpose of this study is to describe and find out the relationship of teacher social competence in inculcating student character education. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 014 Pulau Rengas. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, field notes. The results showed that the social competence of teachers obtained an average score of 90% in the excellent category and the assessment of students' character education planting had an average value of 85% in the very good category. The results of the study prove the teacher's social competence is very important in instilling character education in elementary school students 014 Pulau Rengas

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still weak competence of teachers in making learning implementation plans, implementing learning processes, and implementing learning evaluations. The purpose of this study is to improve teacher competency by using supervision of class visits to the application of cooperative models in learning. This research was conducted at 011 Pondok Gelugur Elementary School with a total of 6 teachers. The type of research to be carried out is the School Action Research (PTS) which is focused in an effort to change the current real conditions towards the expected. The results showed the teacher's competence in preparing the RPP in the first cycle got a value of 73.3 with enough categories while in the second cycle increased to 87.6 with a very good category. Competence in the implementation of the learning process in the first cycle got an average value of 75.4 good categories while in the second cycle increased to 86.0 with a very good category. The competence of implementing learning evaluation in the first cycle got an average value of 74.4 with enough categories while in the second cycle increased to 88.0 with a very good category. It can be concluded with the supervision of class visits can improve teacher competency in learning by applying a cooperative model in SD Negeri 011 Pondok Gelugur.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still low learning outcomes of PKn students in grade V SDN 003 Tasik Juang. This study aims to improve student PKn learning outcomes by applying a make a match cooperative model. The design of this research is classroom action research, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that, on the base score, of 30 students, the number of students who completed as many as 17 people while students who did not complete as many as 13 people. In the daily test I, the number of students who finished completed increased to 23 students and students who did not complete became 7 students. Cycle II the number of students who completed was 28 people while students who did not complete 2 people. The percentage of classical completeness in the base score of 56.6% then increased in the first cycle to 76.6% and then increased again in the second cycle to 93.3%. Based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that by applying the make a match type of cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of PKn students in grade V Tasik Juang
