Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of Blended Learning model on students’ learning outcomes on the theme of “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” at grade V SD Negeri 060937 Kecamatan Medan Johor for the academic year 2020/2021. This study was carried out in April 2021. In this study, the analytical descriptive method was used. The research population was the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 060937, Kecamatan Medan Johor, which contained 2 classes with a total of 40 students. The samples in this study were selected by using simple random sampling and obtained as many as 20 people. The results of this study indicated that students’ learning outcomes after implementing Blended Learning model was in very good category with an average score of 81.4. The results of this study indicated that the results of the correlation test was 0.881, meaning that rcount (0.881) > rtable (0.444). Thus, Ha was accepted. Furthermore, the results of testing the hypothesis found that tcount > ttable which was 7.907 > 1.734, so it could be said that Ha was accepted. This showed that there was Blended Learning model gave a significant positive influence on students’ learning outcomes on the theme of “Lingkungan Sahabat Kami” at grade V SD Negeri 060937, Kecamatan Medan Johor , for the academic year 2020/2021. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes through a jigsaw type cooperative model on Theme 8 at Grade V SD RK Budi Luhur Medan. The research method used was an experimental type of quantitative research. The data were obtained by using data collection tools in the form of documentation, a questionnaire of 25 statements and 33 questions. The research was conducted at grade V SD RK Budi Luhur Medan on 20 to 21 May 2021. The number of samples were 35 students selected by saturated sampling technique. Based on statistical analysis of the data, it was obtained that the results of learning motivation questionnaire with student enthusiasm were 48% in very high category and the results of the pretest were answered by students was an average value of 65.8 in moderate category. Furthermore, the results of the post test scores obtained by students from the answers was an average value of 86.74 with very good category. The results of the correlation analysis of the influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes through Jigsaw Cooperative model obtained a correlation value of rcount = 0.880 with rtable = 0.334. Thus, the value of rcount was higher than the value of rtable, so the correlation was very significant. Hypothesis testing with t-test obtained tcount = 10,618 ttable 1,697. It was concluded that there was a significant influence between learning motivation on learning outcomes through Jigsaw Cooperative Model.

The subjects of this study were 30 fifth grade students of SD Negeri 067246 Medan Tuntungan. The results in the pretest showed that 5 students reached the KKM, classically was 16.66% with an average score of 54.02. In cycle I, 11 students reached the KKM, classically was 36.66% with an average of 68.72. In cycle II, 27 students reached the KKM, classically was 82.55% with an average of 82.55. Learning through Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model was categorized as very good. This was seen from the results of observations of teacher activities in cycle I which was 72% and in cycle II it increased to 86%. The implementation of learning was categorized as good. This was seen from the observation results of students’ activities in cycle I which was 70% and in cycle II it increased to 82%. Thus, implementing Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model improved students’ learning outcomes on the ecosystem theme.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of PAKEM learning model on students’ learning outcomes on the Ecosystem theme at grade V SD Negeri 067246 Medan in the academic year 2020/2021. The population of this study were all students of grade V SDN 067246 Medan Tuntungan totaling 30 students. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The results of this study indicated that students’ learning outcome by using the PAKEM model was in very good category with an average of 81.03. Besides, the normality test obtained that the significance value of learning outcomes was Lcount <Ltable, namely 0.661 < 0.927. Based on these calculations, it was seen that the significance value of the learning outcomes was normally distributed. In the correlation test, the coefficient value was 0.652 meaning that rcount > rtable that was 0.361. Thus, there was a strong influence between PAKEM model on students’ learning outcomes with the theme of Ecosystem at grade V SDN 067246 Medan. The results of the t-test found that tcount > ttable or 4.550> 1.701 so that Ha was accepted. This showed that there was a significant positive effect of the influence of PAKEM learning model on students’ learning outcomes on the Ecosystem theme for grade V SDN 067246 Medan Tuntungan for the academic year 2020/2021.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of rotation model on students’ learning outcomes at grade VI in science subject. This research used experimental research methods. The subjects in this study were 34 students at grade VI SDN Krajanbogo Bonang Demak as the experimental class and 22 students at class VIA SDN Sidomulyo 2 Wonosalam Demak as the control class. The result of N-Gain score test showed that the experimental class (applying rotation model) had an average N-Gain score of 66.44% which fell into the “Quite effective” category. Meanwhile, the application of the conventional model to the control class obtained an average N-Gain score of 39.30% in the category of “Ineffective”. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test using the paired sample t test found that the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05. In addition to the significance value, the value of t count > t table which was 38.152 > 2.035. From these results, it was concluded that the application of the rotation model gave a significant impact on students’ learning outcomes in science subject for grade VI elementary schools.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of media in early reading at the low class. Pop-up book was a media that provided a more attractive visualization for students. Pop-up books provoked students' enthusiasm in reading and stimulated students' imagination. This type of research was development (R&D), using the ADDIE model consisting of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The data were obtained from the questionnaire filled in by validators and field experts viewed from 5 aspects, namely simplicity, emphasis, balance, integration, and media design. Then, the feasibility test by media experts obtained a percentage of 89.55% (very feasible), by material experts was 88.55% (very feasible), and by field experts on media design was 86.25% (very feasible), and on the material was 85.4% (very feasible). Overall, pop-up book media for early reading was very feasible.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether the supervision activities by supervisors in Subject Teacher Organization (or MGMP) could improve teachers' abilities to implement the active, creative, effective, and fun learning (or PAKEM). To obtain the data needed, this study involved 34 teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Tasifeto Barat and was carried out in three months, starting from 18 August 2019 to 13 October 2019. The results of this study indicated that the teachers’ ability to prepare PAKEM model increased after coaching was carried out by supervisors in the MGMP. The increase was proved by an increase in the average percentage of lesson plan (RPP) preparation, that was 61.19% in cycle I and 67.77% in cycle II as well as the teachers’ ability to compile learning scenarios and components in designing classroom management by determining the types of learning activities that provided opportunities to involve students with detailed and challenging steps for improvement. Therefore, it was suggested that supervisors and school principals took the advantage of the school MGMP forum as a target for teacher training to improve their quality of learning activities and teachers could actively participate in MGMP activities, as one of the forums for improving their quality.
