Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of independent variables, namely the use of the tagline on every business advertising carbonated soft drinks of Coca-Cola brand from the aspects of density (X1), memorable (X2) and unique (X3) on the dependent variable in the form of purchase decisions ( Y) consumers in the city of Semarang. The population is the consumer brand of carbonated soft drink Coca-Cola in Semarang whose numbers can not be known with certainty. Data were obtained from 100 respondents who were sampled by means of questionnaires. To prove the hypothesis and draw conclusions, use of multiple regression analysis tool, the coefficient of determination (R2), testing the hypothesis partially with T-test and simultaneous hypothesis testing with the F-test.Based on the analysis of multiple regression known that the independent variables have a direct positive effect with the dependent variable. Further analysis of data obtained R2 value of 0.820, meaning that 82% of variation in the dependent variable is affected by the independent variable. The rest (18%) affected by other variables outside the model. Hypothesis test results either partially or simultaneously shows that the analysis results all support the hypothesis Ha1 and Ha2 proposed the use of the tagline on every business advertising carbonated soft drinks of Coca-Cola brand from the aspects of density (X1), memorable (X2) and unique (X3) have a significant effect either partially or simultaneously to the purchase decision (Y) consumers in the city of Semarang.

Abstract

The background of this research is the declining number of hotels in semarang district. This indicates that the hotel can not satisfy customers. In general, this study aimed to determine the effect of directly or indirectly discipline and responsiveness to customer satisfaction where the quality of service as a mediating variable. So that it can be seen that the most powerful mediating pathways to influence customer satisfaction. Specifically, this research aims to increase the number of visitors hotels in semarang district. Research data collection techniques by spread many questionnaires to the hotel customers in semarang district are arranged systematically with multiple choice answers which easy to understand. Distribution of the questionnaires by means of a direct encounter conducted in the period April-July, 2013, with a sample of some 250 people. Then the data were collected through the questionnaires to be tested the data analyst; validity and reliability, followed by pathway analysis (path analysis), test the strength of the model using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The result of the research proves that there is positive direct influence between discipline and responsiveness to customer satisfaction. The results also shows that the quality of service is a positive intervening between discipline and responsiveness towards customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of most major companies according to the theory of the firm is to maximize the value of company.Company can increase the prosperity of the owner or the shareholders by increasing the value of the company, both internally and externally. This study aims to determine the effect of corporate governance, profitability, dividend policy, and research and development intensity on firm value.The sample of this study is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2009-2011. With purposive sampling method to obtain 10 companies that meet the criteria, resulting in 30 observations. Data were analyzed using analysis Ordinary least Square.The results of the study draws conclusions that simultaneous (Test - F) All independent variables (corporate governance, profitability, dividend policy, and R & D intensity affects the dependent variable (firm value) . Partial (t-test) there are four variables that affect the value of company board size is variable (sig 0.000) , Independent board (sig 0.039) , Profitability (sig 0.048) , dividend policy (sig 0.020). Two other variables that do not affect the value of the company is Board intensity (sig 0.022) and R & D intensity (sig 0.077).

Abstract

This research aims to prove and explain the influence of corporation, enterprise age, education level, foreign language mastery, number of labours, production capacity and promotion activation to ward export market orientation of batik lasem industry. The tehnigue of data analysis used in this study is logistic regression model. The result of this study shows that the variable of foreingn language mastery influences significantly in predicting export market orientation. While variable of corporation, enterprise age, number of labours, production capacity, promotion activation are not proved to give significant influence in predicting export market orientation. This study is expected to add other factors that are estimated able to predict export market orientation like product quality and capital.

Abstract

This research aims to test the effect of the use of information technology to the quality of decisions through the characteristics of management accounting system (SAM) with interdependence as a moderating variable. This research use survey method with sampel is Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kabupaten Rembang, with cluster sampling obtained sample 138 SMEs. Analysis of the data using linear regression. Result of research refer that information technology have an influence on positive to SAM and SAM have an influence on positive to quality of decisions. This suggest that SAM can indirectly mediate the relationship between information technology with decision quality. Morever, this research also refer that the SAM influence on the quality of decisions is stronger when moderated by interdependence.

Abstract

This study aims at finding (1) the extent of partial influence of developmental stategy of Bango soy sauce product with sweet, spicy, savory flavors in the form of product quality, flavor, and packing towards consumer loyalty at PT. Unilever Indonesia Semarang City, and (2) the extent of simultaneous influence of developmental stategy of Bango soy sauce product with sweet, spicy, savory flavors in the form of product quality, flavor, and packing towards consumer loyalty at PT. Unilever Indonesia Semarang City.The population of the study were the customers who used Bango soy sauce product with sweet, spicy, savory flavors produced by PT. Unilever Indonesia Semarang City, the number of which was not exactly determined. The data were collected from 100 respondents by using questionnaire. The hypothesis testing and the conclusion were done by using multiple regression analysis, determination coefficience (R2), partial testing with T-test, and simultaneous testing with F-test.Multiple regression analysis shows that the independent variables have positive influence on the dependent variables. The R2 value is 0.86 meaning that the independent variables have 86% positive influence on the dependent variables and 14% are influenced by the other variables outside the model.Both partial and simultaneous testings support H1 and H2 hypotheses, that is, the product development consisting of product quality (X1), product flavor (X2), and product packing (X3) has significantly partial and simultaneous influence on customer loyalty to the products of PT. Unilever Indonesia Semarang City. The analysis also shows that variable of product flavor (X2) has the highest influence on the customer loyalty.

Abstract

Customer loyalty is considered by many service providers as an important source of competitive advantage. Enhanced cuatomer loyalty in service firms will lead to greater profitability. The objective of this research is to examine the effect of image of traditional food and service recovery on the effect on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Research involved 100 customers. By measuring criterion validity and reliability of image and service recovery, it found that both of them have a good validity and reliability for measuring the customer satisfaction and cuatomer loyalty. By using path analysis, the result revealed that image, service recovery and customer satisfaction have direct significantly effects on customer loyalty. The managerial implication of this research is that management of restaurant should build their image, implement service recovery program consistanly and create customer satisfaction to miantan their customer.
