Abstract

The role of headmaster’s leadership in increasing teachers’ professional competence was mainly discussed in this research. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this researchinvolving the headmaster, the teachers, and the staff. The result showed that the role of headmaster’s leadership (1) as administrator, was done by sharing responsibility of learning to theteachers; (2) as supervisor by: considering the teaching distribution duty carefully; (3) as manager by: finishing the school program together, (4) as motivator by: building comfortable environment for teaching and leraning.Keyword: headmaster, teacher, professional competence

Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the participation of state and private institution in students’ industry work praxis of accounting and office administration expertise program of StateVocational School One of Lubuklinggau District. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study consist of principal, the vice of principal, the head of study program, teachers, and students. The data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. Data wereanalized by using the qualitative. The result show that the government and the private institution have actively participate in student industry work practice at vocational senior high school number 1 Lubuklinggau.Keyword: government, institutions, private, vocational high school

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the management of facilities and infrastructure in the Primary School 02 East Curup. Methods this study uses a qualitative descriptive study. Subjects in this study were the principal and teacher. The conclusions of this study indicate the facilities and infrastructure planning and procurement conducted by the principal in accordance with the provisions, an inventory of school facilities and infrastructure has been done well, distribution is done directly and indirectly, maintenance of school facilities and infrastructure is done by periodically and incidental, control and accountability (reporting)infrastructure carried out by the principal and done once a year when the new school year. general management of facilities and infrastructure already implemented.Keyword: management, facilities, infrastructure

Abstract

The purpose of this research was described the strategic of the principle in the management facility and infrastructure education at senior high school number 8 Lubuk Linggau city. The research used the descriptive qualitative method. Abstract

This study aims at describing the mangement of students’character development based extracurricular activity. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The subject of this study consists of the school principal, the vices of school principles, the teachers, and the students. The data were collected by means of observation, interview, and documentation. Afterwards, the data were analized by using the technique as proposed by Miles and Huberman. The result of this study shows that the students’ character development based extracurriculer activity has been conducted based on the principles of effective management involving the processes of planning, organizing, actuating, evaluating, and controlling.Keyword: management, extracurricular, development, student character

Abstract

The general objective of this study was to describe the management of principal to improve professional competence of computer technology teacher. This study is qualitativedescriptive study. Subjects in this study are the principal, the vice principal of curriculum, and three teachers of computer technology teacher. Data collection techniques used in this study; observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Analysis of the data used 4 phases, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion or verification. The result of this research showed that principal have the program of management to improve professional competence of computer technology teacher, appropriate with management competence and supervision competence as a principal.Key word: management, competence, professional.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the recruitment process and proffessional development of principals as leader of education unit. Research method use descriptive research with subject are 15 principals of elementary school in Selupu Rejang. Data collection technique through interviews and documentation. Data analysis using codification and data reduction, data analysis, inference and verification. Abstract

The purpose of this study to evaluation the suitability between clasroom teacher administration in elementary school number 56 Lubuklinggau city with the established standards. The method of this research was descriptive evaluative. The subject of this research are classroom teacher. The data were collected by means of observation, interview and documentation. The result showed the classroom teacher have not complete document, document preparation process conducted jointly by teachers, principals, administrators in accordance with the functions and roles of each, and suitability the charging documents with the established standards is not suitable.Conclusions this reasearch, the administrative documents classroom teacher is not suitable with the established standards.Keyword: evaluation study, classroom teacher, administration

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of the implementation of the learning model discovery learning on social science subjects based curriculum in 2013 on SMPN1Curup. The method is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study is subject teachers in charge of the Social Sciences in SMP N 1 Curup. Methods of data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. From these results, it shows that management is executed in a learning model Discovery Learning in the field of social studies curriculum 2013 based on SMPN 1 Curup, has done well, which includes activities; learning planning, learning implementation, and evaluation of learning.Key word: management, discovery learning model, social studies
