Abstract

This study aimed to describe management of graduates’ quality improvement in State Elementary School 2 Selangit Musi Rawas. The method of the study is qualitative descriptive. The subjects of the study are the principal, vice principal and teachers. The results of the study are: (1) Planning going well. (2) Organizing clearly visible in the division of duties of teachers and school programs. (3) Implementation, including: infrastructure, facilities that support learning, programs, curriculum and lesson plans. (4) Monitoring and evaluation is done technically by the school superintendent, principals and community.Keyword: management, graduates, quality, improvement

Abstract

The purposes of the research are to find out the relationship between: 1) academic supervision and teacher’s performance, 2) training intensity and teacher’s performance , 3) andcorrelation between both of them. The populations and sampel was all teachers of Public Junior High Shool at Bermani Ulu subdistrict. The result of this research show that there are significant correlation between: 1) academic supervision and teacher’s performance is 0,520, 2) training and teacher’s performance is 0,585, 3) and academic supervision, training intensity on teacher’s performance could be shown by using regress formula Y= 31,528 + 0,405 (X1) + 0,296 (x2). Sothe effective contribution of academic supervision on teacher’s performance 27% whereas training variable on teacher’s performance is 34,2%.Key word: academic supervision, training intensity, teacher’s performance

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to know and describe the determinance of the leadership style in National Education Office head of Lubuklinggau City. The method of this study usedqualitative descriptive technique by instruments: observation , documentation and interviews. The finding of this study show that empirically experience, education and training, recruitment process, and environment as capital worth for the head to apply the democratic leadership style. Democratic leadership style is very relevant to face subordinate in this case staff owning character and personality which are different each other.Keyword: determinant, leadership style, national education office

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe clearly the managerial supervision conducted by the superintendent of madrasah aliyah in MA Al Muhajirin Tugumulyo Musi Rawasdistrict. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this research was superintendents, headmaster, deputy head of curriculum, deputy head of student, and the head of the administrative staff. The result of the study concluded as follow: (1) the planning include perspective, mission, purpose, program, target, and schedule, (2) the implementation same with planning, (3) the monitoring and evaluation include monitor, evaluation, reporting, anddocumentation, (4) in terms of the follow-up are founding and next new program of supervision.Keyword: managerial supervision, Madrasah Aliyah, superintendent

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know how is the role of a school’s culture in increasing the performance of teachers in Sint Carolus senior high school Bengkulu. The data collected techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects are the principal, vice principal, teachers, administration staff, janitor, and security. The result of this research showed that school’s culture: behavioral patterns, the followed norms, the dominant values, the philosophy, the regulation, and the atmosphere of the school have an important roles in increasing the performance of teachers.Key word: school culture, teacher performance
