Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media that focuses on phase D basketball dribbling techniques in the subject of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK). The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model involving 15 students in small-scale trials and 30 students in large-scale trials. The learning materials are structured based on the Independent Curriculum and are presented through illustrative images and three-dimensional animations integrated into interactive AR video game applications. Media validation was carried out by material experts and programming experts with the results of the category of feasible and very feasible. Quantitative data in the form of pretest and posttest results were analyzed using the gain score formula, showing a significant increase in students' dribbling skills with an average gain score of 0.64. Qualitative data from questionnaires and observations showed positive student responses to AR media that increased motivation and learning engagement. The results of the study concluded that AR-based learning media was effectively used to improve basketball dribbling technique skills in PJOK students. This research contributes to the development of innovative learning media that combines AR technology with sports learning.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the challenges faced by employee class students in aquatic lectures in terms of time management. Time management here is defined as the decision-making process to organize and adjust time according to changing needs. Employee class students face challenges in dividing their time between work, study, and practical activities that require physical presence. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a questionnaire covering four aspects including time management, time protection, time adaptation, and time use effectiveness. The sample consisted of 40 students who contracted the Aquatic Learning course. The results showed that students' time management skills were in the fairly good category, with an average score of 2.95 on a scale of 1 to 4. The aspects of time management and effectiveness received high scores, while time protection was an area that needed improvement. These findings indicate that although students have basic skills in time management, additional strategies are needed to improve consistency and focus in practical learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the physical condition of Central Java bolavoli athletes after the 2024 National Sports Week held in Aceh-North Sumatra. This research is quantitative descriptive research, data obtained from a survey of athletes' physical condition tests organized by the Central Java Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) which was held at the Jatidiri Stadium in Semarang on June 12, 2025. The data collection technique in this study is data sampling, where not the entire population is used but based on criteria, namely Central Java volleyball athletes who take part in Long-Term Regional Training. The results of this study indicate that female athletes generally show a more even physical condition and tend to be in the excellent category in almost all aspects tested, such as flexibility, leg power, arm muscle endurance, abdominal muscle endurance, back muscle strength, leg muscle strength, general endurance, agility, and speed. Meanwhile, male athletes showed greater variation in each component of physical condition, with dominance based on the good and excellent categories, but there were also some aspects that were still in the moderate to deficient category. As a result, there are differences in the consistency of physical conditions between male and female athletes that can be taken into consideration in the preparation and planning of more specific and targeted training programs according to the needs of each group.
