Abstract

This study is conducted to examine the effect of good corporate governance on financial performance. The variables used in this study are the board of commissioners, the board of directors, institutional ownership and the audit committee as independent variables, while the dependent variable is financial performance proxies with ROA. This study uses 14 consistent samples of LQ45 companies that met the sample criteria during 2014 to 2018. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling in order to obtain 70 observations. Because the classical assumption test gets problems in the autocorrelation test, the data are transformed using the cochrane orcutt method, so that the total observations become 69 observations. The data analysis technique utilizes multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the board of commissioners has a positive and significant effect on financial performance, while the board of directors has a significant negative effect on financial performance, and institutional ownership has a significant positive effect on financial performance, while the audit committee has a significant negative effect on financial performance. Based on the determination testing of variable of the board of commissioners, board of directors, institutional ownership and audit committee in the regression model, this study is able to explain the dependent variable of financial performance by 32.9%, while 67.1% is explained by other variables not examined in this study

Abstract

This study aims to determine work culture in an effort to improve employee performance at PT X. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Collecting data in this study using triangulation of data sources, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Six informants were selected based on the principle of suitability(appropriateness) and sufficiency (adequacy).The results showed that PT X's work culture had benefits, namely the formation of a good work process, a more structured job, a faster problem-solving process and increased human resource capabilities. while the barriers in work culture are a lack of confidence, busy daily routines, inefficient organizational structure, lack of motivation and competence, lack of cohesiveness and employees who do not upgrade their abilities or knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational behavioral factors, cognitive and affective conflict against regional financial accounting system usefulness and behavioral factors influence the organization of cognitive and affective conflict and behavioral factors influence the organization of the usefulness regional financial accounting system intervening by the presence of cognitive and affective conflict. The influence of behavior factors were superiors support, clarity of purpose and training. The study was conducted at the sub-district and department employees in Semarang. The population is some sub-district and department employees who work on the financial section. Analysis of the data in this research was using Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The results of this study indicate a positive influence of organizational factors on the usability of Regional Financial Accounting System and cognitive conflict and there is a positive effect of cognitive conflict with usability Regional Financial Accounting System. Organizational factors negatively affect affective conflict and affective conflict negatively affects the usefulness of Regional Financial Accounting System.

Abstract

Cooperatives as one of the drivers of the community's economy face many obstacles in its performance. Poor performance, incompetent human resources, and financial system that is still not good to be a fundamental weakness in the ability of cooperatives to compete in economic activities that are full of challenges today. Of the 150,333 cooperatives in Indonesia the level of success and sustainability of cooperatives is still very small. This study aims to analyze the application of sustainable business to cooperative reputation.in South Tangerang City   Data Analysis Method uses Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS).The Result of study The relationship between economic aspects and sustainable business is positive and significant. Relationship between social aspects and sustainable business is positive and significant. Relationship between environmental aspects and sustainable business is positive and significant. Abstract

ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is a regional program which started in 2015, was developed by members of ASEAN countries which have agreed on pillars on mutual collaboration to increase the economic and social growth. The AEC has agreed to carry out four major pillars: (1) single market and production base, (2) competitive economic region, (3) equitable economic development and (4) integration into global economy. The four pillars are divided into 17 core elements, and among the core element, there is one particular core element which focuses on human resources which is the free flow of skilled labours. The government of the ASEAN countries have taken actions towards anticipating the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), especially in regards to the free flow of skilled labour. One of actions is improving the quality of education. Some countries have invested high amount of funds in order to increase the quality of graduates. Indonesia has also started to make improvements in the quality of education. One of the improvement was in the form of constructing Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) which were then obliged for all education institution to follow. However, related to the vocational education, more beneficial collaborations with the industry should be carried out. Also, other soft skills which are required in workplace still need to be formally included in the assessment process of the education
