Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find an empiric proof and analysisthat stock return and financial performance of the companies could be improved throughCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) at TheIndonesian Capital Market. Population of this research were companies that go publicat Indonesia Capital Market. Technic Sampling used purposive sampling, and found 62companies. This companies then were divided into two categories (big and small companies)according to its total assets. And the hypotheses were tested using Structural EquationModeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The result showed that (1)CSR had a significant positive effect towards stock return in big companies categorized,while small companies categorized had a significant negative effect of it, (2) GCG hadno significant effect towards stock return in both categories, (3) Financial performancehad no significant effect towards stock return in big companies categorized, but it had apositive significant effect towards it in those small, (4) CSR had a significant positiveeffect towards financial performance in big companies categorized, whereas in smallcompanies it could not be found, (5) GCG had no significant effect towards financialperformance in both categories, (6) as well as the GCG had no significant effect towardsCSR in both categories.Keywords: corporate social responsibility, good corporate governance, stock return,and financial performance.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Islamic work ethic, principal's leadership style, motivation on teacher performance at junior high school teacher. The total of 82 respondents as sample selected using purposive random sampling techniques. Data collection method in this study uses questionnaire and processed by SPSS Statictics 24. Data are analysed by multiple linear regression analysis, goodness of fit test, and coefficient of determination. Determination coefficient shows that teacher performance at junior high school teacher isriati Ngaliyan Semarang is 87,2% affected by Islamic work ethic, principal's leadership style, motivation. The rest 12,8% is explained by other variables outside this study. Then, Islamic work ethic, principal's leadership style, motivation have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at junior high school teacher isriati ngaliyan Semarang either simultaneously or partially. Furthermore, among these three variables, the most dominant effect is Islamic work ethic.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak dari implementasi good university governace (GUG) dalam upaya peningkatan excellent service dan kepercayaan mahasiswa (Trust) di Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Semarang. 225 responden digunakan untuk memberikan tanggapan pelaksanaan GUG, excellent service dan memberikan penilaian tingkat kepercayaannya terhadap Fakultas. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah metode student satisfaction index (SSI) dan structural equation modeling (SEM). Dengan menggunakan metode SSI ditemukan atribut layanan yang menjadi sasaran perbaikan kualitas layanan di FE USM yaitu efektifitas pembelajaran tentang kemudahan untuk bertemu dosen diluar kelas selama jam kerja dan pelayanan fasilitas (layanan sarana dan prasarana): kondisi sarana ibadah dan toilet di FE USM. Sedangkan hasil Analisis SEM menunjukkan bahwa GUG berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Excellent Service dan Excellent Service berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Trust. GUG secara langsung tidak berpengaruh terhadap Trust. Hal ini berarti bahwa pelaksanaan tata kelola universitas yang baik (GUG) tidak dapat langsung memberikan kepercayaan (Trust) terhadap mahasiswa tanpa adanya bukti nyata yang dapat dirasakan yaitu pelayanan yang prima (Excellent Service).

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji bagaimana sumber-sumber daya internal perusahaan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja penjualan pada usaha mikro kecil menengah di Desa Padurenan Kecamatan Gebog Kabupaten Kudus. Metode slovin digunakan untuk melihat sumberdaya internal 111 pelaku usaha dalam mempengaruhi kinerja penjualannya. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda dengan software Eviews. Dari lima hipotesis yang diajukan, tiga hipotesis di tolak dan dua hipotesis diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman usaha, diversifikasi produk dan teknologi tidak mempengaruhi kinerja penjualan. Sedangkan modal pinjaman berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja penjualan. Semakin tinggi modal pinjaman yang digunakan oleh pelaku usaha kecil, semakin rendah kinerja penjualan yang akan dihasilkan. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan wilayah pemasaran yang dimiliki oleh pelaku usaha berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja penjualan. Semakin luas wilayah pemasaran, semakin tinggi pula kinerja yang dapat dihasilkan. Nilai adj R square sebesar 0.41 menunjukkan 41% variasi dari kinerja penjualan mampu dijelaskan oleh lima variabel independen yang digunakan yaitu pengalaman usaha, diversifikasi produk, teknologi, modal pinjaman dan wilayah pemasaran.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap penerapan prinsip good governance dalam upaya peningkatan excellent service untuk membangun kepercayaan publik di Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Jawa Tengah (Dinperindag Jateng). 100 responden digunakan untuk memberikan tanggapan tentang gaya kepemimpinan, penerapan prinsip good governance, kinerja pelayanan serta memberikan penilaian tingkat kepercayaannya terhadap Dinperindag Jateng. Selain itu informan kunci dalam penelitian ini digunakan untuk menjustifikasi tanggapan atau pendapat dari para responden tersebut. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah mix methode dengan desain Sequential Explanatory. Model sequential explanatory dicirikan dengan melakukan pengumpulan data dan analisis data kuantitatif pada tahap pertama, dan diikuti dengan pengumpulan dan analisis data kualitatif pada tahap kedua, guna memperkuat hasil penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil Analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara garis besar masyarakat menilai implementasi dari good governance dan gaya kepemimpinan di lingkungan Dinperindag telah dinilai baik. Dinperindag telah mampu menciptakan pelayanan yang baik bagi masyarakat dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap Dinperindag-pun dinilai cukup tinggi. Hasil lain yang diperoleh yaitu 1) kepemimpinan transformasional dapat mempengaruhi pelaksanaan dan implementasi good governance serta memberikan kepercayaan kepada masyarakat, 2) masa kepemimpinan yang pendek belum dapat membuktikan dampak dari gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pelayanan, 3) kinerja pelayanan yang baik akan membawa kepercayaan masyarakat, 4) pelaksanaan prinsip good governance dapat menciptakan excellent service untuk selanjutnya membawa kepercayaan terhadap masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja pemasaran industri bordir di Desa Padurenan melalui human capital dan social capital dengan kemampuan inovasi sebagai variabel pemediasi.Metode sensus digunakan untuk melihat tanggapan 21 pengrajin bordir terhadap pertanyaan-pertanyaan penelitian.Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan software WrapPLS 5.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik modal sosial yang dimiliki pengrajin, semakin tinggi pula nilai human capital dan kemampuanya untuk berinovasi. Bila nilai human capital-nya tinggi, kemampuan berinovasi pengrajin-pun akan tinggi.Penelitian ini juga menjelaskan bahwa peningkatan kinerja pemasaran dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kemampuan berinovasi pengrajin. Social capital dan human capital tidak mampu mempengaruhi kinerja pemasaran tanpa kemampuan berinovasi. Hal ini berarti bahwa kemampuan berinovasi memoderasi hubungan social capital dan human capital terhadap kinerja pemasaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide insight into how the management pattern of CSR programs that can improve the competitiveness of SMEs. The method used is qualitative research with phenomenological approach. The informants were chosen based on purposive, consisting of the Social Fund Management Team of Central Java Bank, the recipients of the UMKM program, and the intellectuals who will be represented by the academics. The results showed that the pattern of CSR leads to the form of partnership with the concept of community development. The form of partnership requires the participation between donors and beneficiaries. While the program formed through CSR of human resources, production and technology and financial capabilities

Abstract

Studi ini dilakukan di salah satu UMKM berbasis industri kreatif di Kabupaten Rembang Jawa Tengah dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis factor pendukung, dan faktor penghambat bagi usaha tersebut untuk bisa langgeng. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melaui wawancara, obeservasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan factor pendukung keanggengan usaha antara lain: inovasi produk, ciri khas/keunikan, promosi, dukungan pemerintah, peluang bisnis yang belum banyak pesaing, kualitas produk, kemasan produk, sertifikasi pangan, harga, tenaga kerja, letak tempat usaha, produk sesuai kebutuhan konsumen. Sedangkan factor penghambar yaitu modal usaha, teknologi produksi, bahan baku, cuaca, produk monoton, masih mengandalkan merek lain. Selanjutnya cara mempertahankan antara lain: membesarkan skala usaha, membuat Inovasi, memiliki ciri khas/keunikan, promosi, peningkatan kualitas produk, membuka lini produk baru, mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan-pelatihan dan kompetisi untuk menambah pengalaman, wawasan dan jejaring sosial.
