Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. This Journal is published four times a year, February, May, August, and November.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the characteristics, attitudes and satisfaction of customers on mackerel fish“otak-otak”, as well as the relationship between consumer attitudes and consumercharacteristics. This study uses a survey method. The research location was home industry Ci Awa Kotaagung District of Tanggamus Regency. The determination of the location is done deliberately with the consideration that Kotaagung District is the largest fish-producing center and there are many fish-based home industries.  Respondents were 54 customers. The results of thestudy showed that consumers of Ci Awa are mostly female, age group of 17-35,high school graduates, self-employed workers, and the amount of income per month belongs to the moderate income group. Consumer attitudes towards Ci Awa's were positive. The levelof satisfaction of  customers of Ci Awa was in the satisfied category. Consumer characteristics (age,income, and education) have a relationship with the attitude of consumers of Ci Awa.Key words: attitudes, consumer, home industry.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to find out the income of pepper farming, household income, level of household welfare, and factors that affect the welfare of pepper farmer households in Abung Barat Sub-District. The location was determined purposively with the consideration that Abung Barat Sub-District is the center of black pepper production. The number of respondents in this research is 63 respondents taken randomly. Data were collected from April to May 2019. The analytical methods used are farming analysis, the analysis of Sajogyo and Subyective welfare levels, and binary logit analysis. The results showed that average income of pepper farming is IDR8,356,590.51/year, average household income is  IDR20,055,616.61/year, based on the criteria of Sajogyo 61.90 percent of the respondent pepper farmer households are included in the sufficient category, and based on the criteria subyektif  that 68.25 percent of pepper farmer households are included in the sufficient category.  The factors that influence the level of household welfare of pepper farmers are the number of family members and income.Key words: farmers income, pepper, welfare

Abstract

This study aims to analyze attitudes, consumption patterns, and consumer satisfaction of Kopi Ketje in Bandar Lampung City. This study uses a survey method which was carried out at 16 branches of Kopi Ketje in Bandar Lampung City in January 2022 with 50 respondents. The analytical tools used are Fishbein multi-attribute, qualitative descriptive analysis, and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The consumers who made the most purchased were women aged 17-25 years as many as 34 consumers. The number of family members of Kopi Ketje consumers are mostly 4 people and the majority(82%) of Kopi Ketje consumers is students. Most of the consumer respondents (46%) earn an income of IDR 500.001.00 - IDR 1.000.000,00 per month. The results of the study show that the total attitude value of consumers is 90.18 with a fairly good category. Kopi Ketje consumers usually buy and consume Kopi Ketje drinks as much as 250-549 ml per transaction (66%) with most of the frequency of purchasing Kopi Ketje as much as 1-3 times per month (88%). The variation of Kopi Ketje that is much preferred by consumers is the ndeso coffee variation (42%) with most of the reasons for enjoying the taste (46%), however, most of the other coffee drink brands that are often purchased by consumers are Kopi Janji Jiwa (58%) because of the taste. Halal assurance is considered very important by consumers (86%). The CSI value was obtained at 82.29 percent (very satisfied).Keywords: attitude, coffee, consumption pattern, satisfaction.

Abstract

Decaffeinated coffee is a coffee that has been processed to decrease the caffeine that contained in coffee. Preference analysis is important to do, it help the producer plane the right marketing strategy to win the competition against brands on the market.  The aim of this research are to identify the consumer preference for decaffeinated coffee purchases from the importance level of each attribute and to identify Ghalkoff's decaffeinated coffee attributes are the most considered in purchasing.  The research questionnaire was distributed to 30 samples of respondents from Bandar Lampung using accidental sampling.  The analytical method used to answer the research is conjoint analysis.  The research showed that consumer preferences for purchasing Ghalkoff’s decaffeinated is refer to coffee with the attributes coffee powder sharp and distinctive aroma that has a soft texture coffe powder with affordable price and easily to find and the attribute most considered to purchase the decaffeinated coffee by consumer is aroma. Key words : attributes, decaffeinated, preference.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the added value and job opportunities of the tofu agroindustry at Gadingrejo  Regency.  This research was conducted at Gadingrejo District using a census method.  Data consists of primary data and secondary data.  Primary data used include the use of raw materials, production facilities, tofu agroindustrial equipment, and the number of workers.  Primary data collection was carried out by interviewing 23 tofu agroindustries and 70 tofu-derived business units. Secondary data were literature study.  Secondary data includes Gross Regional Domestic Product and Number of Small and Medium Industry Actors at Pringsewu Regency.  The research data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively to determine the added value and job opportunities of the tofu agroindustry.  The results showed that the age of the respondents varied greatly from the ages of 40 to 70 years.  The average use of raw materials for agroindustry for the small group is 40 kilograms, the medium group is 60 kilograms, and the large group is 150 kilograms in one production.  The tofu agroindustry at Gadingrejo District provides positive added value for this type of white tofu, namely IDR8,040.56 one kilogram of raw material or with an added value ratio of 51.73 percent.  There are 228 employment opportunities absorbed. Key words: added value, tofu, job opportunities

Abstract

This research aims to analyze visitor satisfaction on tourism facilities and infrastructures, travel cost, factors that affect the number of visits, and economic value of Taman Kehati in Mesuji Regency.  This research used a survey method involving 65 respondents.  Data were collected in December 2019.  The first objective was analized using likert scale analysis, the second objective used travel cost method, the third objective used multiple linear regression analysis, and the fourth objective used consumer surplus analysis.  The study suggests that visitors were satisfied with facilities and infrastructure provided by Taman Kehati, travel cost was IDR165.614 per individual with the highest cost allocated for consumption, which was IDR101.656,72 or 61 percent of total travel cost.  The factors affecting the number of visits to Taman Kehati included age, income, travel cost, travel time, day of the visit, and conditions of the park.  The economic value of Taman Kehati is IDR993.850.777.736 per year. Key words: economic value, travel costs, visitor satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership, background, and motivational impact of process operator leadership, motivation, and performance and processing operator performance.  This survey was conducted at PT Sugar Rabinta South Lampung, especially the processing unit in December 2021 to January 2022.  This research is conducted by a survey method involving 63 samples of processing operators.  Respondents in this study are foreman and operators.  The survey data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.  The results showed that the foreman leadership of the processing section were quite good, the motivation of processing operators was quite good and the performance of process operators was categorized as good.  Ethnicity had a significant effect on the performance of process operators, while age, education, length of service, and the number of family members had no effect on the performance operators.  Leadership and motivation had significant effect on the performance of process operators.Key words: biographical characteristics, employee performance, motivation, leadership

Abstract

The aims of this research are to analyze the production performance, added value, and profit of chips agroindustry.  Respondents were the owner and employees of agroindustry.  The method used was a case study at Keripik Bude Agroindustry in North Lampung District.  The study uses primary data from interviews and direct observations, as well as secondary data quoted from government agencies.  The analytical methods used are analysis of production performance, analysis of added value and profit.  Production performance of the chips agroindustry which includes productivity, capacity, quality, flexibility, and process rapidity overall have been maximized.  The added value of processing cassava chips has a positive value of IDR12,477.07/kg of cassava raw materials and the added value of processing banana chips is IDR8,154.87/kg of banana raw materials, so the business run by the agroindustry is profitable.  The total profit from selling cassava chips and banana chips is IDR514,562.50 per production or IDR5,145,625.00 per month, so this business is profitable. Key words: added value, production performance, profit
