Abstract

In this globalization era technological advances growed very fast. In shipping industry of development process shipbuilding of principal feedstock to used steel plate, with construction tacking on using welder method.In this research purpose of lifted is know number of requirement (consumable) electrode for welder SAW at block-block ship DCV 18500 DWT in PT. Jasa Marina Indah Semarang.At this experiment specimen applied is low carbon steel of type ST 42 with thickness of 12, 13, 14, 17, 19 dan 24 mm. Research is done by the way of making specimen at every plate thickness. Then is done path measurement of length, used electrode length, and weight flux applied at the welder.From result of gauging and data calculation welder at block DB 5(p/c/s), SS5A(p/s), SS 5B(p/s), UD 5C, and TB 102 (p/c/s) will be known number of electrodes applied in welder SAW and number of flux used.

Abstract

Investasi merupakan aktifitas menanamkan faktor-faktor produksi terbatas dalam proyek tertentu yang bersifat baru sama sekali atau perluasan proyek yang ada. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk memperoleh manfaat yang cukup layak di kemudian hari, baik manfaat ekonomi maupun non ekonomi. Model investasi usaha persewaan kapal dari hasil modifikasi kapal ikan menjadi kapal wisata ini di latar belakangi oleh persoalan overfishing dan overcapacity, keberadaan kapal ikan yang tidak produktif lagi dan berdampak pada menurunnya penghasilan nelayan. Serta adanya potensi usaha yang cukup menjanjikan tapi kurang mendapat perhatian, yaitu usaha wisata bahari. Tugas akhir ini merupakan bagian dari Penelitian Unggulan Strategis Nasional Universitas Diponegoro Semarang Tahun 2009-2010. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui profitabilitas usaha persewaan kapal wisata gazebo di Karimunjawa yang merupakan hasil modifikasi dari kapal ikan tradisional menjadi kapal wisata dalam beberapa tahun ke depan. Dalam analisa profitabilitas ini digunakan sembilan (9) asumsi yang akan digunakan untuk menentukan perkiraan laba-rugi usaha persewaan kapal wisata gazebo ini. Dari ke-9 asumsi tersebut peluang investasi usaha persewaan kapal wisata gazebo yang paling layak untuk dilanjutkan dengan keuntungan tertinggi adalah asumsi ke-1 dengan net cash flows tahunan sama diperoleh nilai NPV (Net Present Value) untuk DF (Diskonto Faktor) 12 % positif sebesar Rp.184.327.519,- dan IRR (Internal Rate Return) untuk DF (Diskonto Faktor) 12 % sebesar 22,00 % serta Payback Period terjadi pada tahun ke-4.

Abstract

The problems of traffic jams and the issues of energy problems in Jakarta have been generated an innovation and an alternative solution in public transportation development which can reducing these problems that using the renewable energy Referring to the condition and these problems, the concept must be done within pre-design of waterbus which equipped with a solar panel system engine. The using of solar system as an energy resource on the pre design of the ship must be suitable on the water condition, the selection of the solar panel, 3 dimensional with sail routes and analysis calculation when the ship sailing The research is aimed to produce main dimensional of the ship which LOA = 12,00 m, LWL = 11,47 m, Bm = 4,34 m. This ship is using two outboard electrical motors which producing 2 KW of power, 15,954 watt of battery and 52,12 m2 of solar panel with monocrystaline type with 5,520 watt of power which defined from speed of the ship at 5,25 knot with 0,4 KN resistance

Abstract

Traditional ship has so many kinds, It can be seen on every beach in Indonesia which has different ship design.this development ship design changes based on the ancestors' experiences and the miths believed by the society. Their belief in technology development is low. Therevore, the existance of education institution and research haven't yet had any role in design development of their ships. In this study, the goal is to analyze the resistance of hullform, stability analysis of hullform ship, and seakeeping performance (having, pitching, rolling) of the hullform ship. The ship identification was done for one of MV.Surya Redjeki ships using puersiene. The Data gathered then is used to revew hullform ship by using delfship software. Then,the picture is imported to IGS shape to get the result of resistance, stability, and moving. The result of running any software above is used as basic of counting to know the characteristic of MV. Surya Redeki Ship. Based on the counting and analisation, then, the MV.Surya Redjeki ship has total resistance with maximum running, stability is based on criteria standard IMO, for the highest movement is happen when using the biggest rolling.

Abstract

Patrol Speed Boat merupakan kapal cepat yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengawasan dan patroli demi keamanan suatu wilayah perairan. Dalam pengoperasiannya, kapal cepat Grass Carp digunakan untuk berpatroli di perairan Rawa Pening. Kapal ini dibangun menggunakan konstruksi fiberglass yang ringan dan juga kuat. Banyaknya kasus pencurian ikan dan orang tenggelam di Rawa Pening menjadikan kehadiran kapal cepat memang diperlukan untuk keamanan perairan dan keselamatan orang disana. Grass Carp didesain untuk kecepatan, sehingga faktor teknis kapal seperti stabilitas dan olah gerak menjadi penting untuk dianalisa. Perhitungan stabilitas kapal menggunakan standar yang ditetapkan oleh IMO (International Maritim Organization).Dalam perhitungan stabilitasnya, Grass Carp telah memenuhi semua kriteria dari IMO. Olah gerak kapal dianalisa untuk memperlihatkan gerakan heaving, rolling dan pitching kapal pada saat diam (V = 0 knot) dan pada saat kondisi beroperasi (V = 9,1 knots) ditinjau dari berbagai sudut masuk gelombang dan ketinggian gelombang. Ketinggian gelombang diasumsikan sebesar 0,50, 0,75, 1,00 dan 1,25 meter. Manuver kapal pada sudut maksimum 35° (derajat) memiliki nilai steady turning diameter = 40,85 meter, tactical diameter = 41,63 meter, advance = 27,58 meter, transfer = 20,10 meter dan steady speed in turn = 6,83 knots.

Abstract

Bahan bakar LPG merupakan bahan bakar gas yang ramah lingkungan, sehingga dapat dijadikan bahan bakar alternatif selain bahan bakar bensin Performa Mesin bensin yang dioperasikan dengan menggunakan bahan bakar gas LPG mengalami penurunan. Penurunan ini terjadi dikarenakan karakteristik sifat bahan bakar bensin berbeda dengan LPG. Hal ini dapat diatasi dengan mengatur saat penyalaan sehingga lebih sesuai dengan karakteristik gas LPG. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa dengan pengaturan saat penyalaan 11° sebelum TMA, menghasilkan prestasi (Torsi dan Daya) yang dekat dengan prestasi motor bensin yaitu hanya selisih 3 %. Prestasi terbaik pada mesin bahan bakar bensin ataupun LPG berkisar pada putaran 4000 s.d 5000 rpm

Abstract

To get quality of good weld joint that in scheme of construction welder of hull must be planned about way of welder, way of inspection, welding flux and weld type which would in utilizing. By karna to get quality of good weld of welder engineering at ship must be followed by will have an effect on to end result from welder process and mechanical properties yielded at construction welder process of ship steel which in the end will influence strength of construction weld joint of ship steel. How big the influence can be done with assaying of mechanical properties at steel plate weld joint. Data analysis result of the assaying can be taken a a real conclusion assists in increasing grade and security and safety of weld joint. This research aim to know strength of joint T-join at weld material to influence position of welder at buckling strength, and visually with EDSA. By using low alloy steel containing grade C=0,15%, Si=0,24%, Mn=0,88%, P=0,018%, S=0,034%. Material is given [by] treatment of welder with various position of welder Horizontal ( 2F ), Vertical ( 3F ), Overhead ( 4F) by using weld FCAW ( Flux cord Arc Welding) with electrode E71T-1, Ø cord 1,2 mm, applies gas CO2, Pada joint type Tjoin welder fillet. Method used in this research is experiment method, that is experimental method directly to object. In this case steel ST42 joint Tjoin with Thick plate 8 mm Marine Plate 18 piece weld by using gas CO2.To get research data is applied [by] observation method by using testing machine bending and test EDSA. Data which collected then is analysed difference of result from visual and mechanic assaying. Result of research shows existence of difference from strength of bending and its(the visulisation is especially to level of weave bead formed between differences of position of Horizontal ( 2F ), Vertical ( 3F ), Overhead ( 4F). And level of influence position of welder to strain bending 72,65 %.. At execution of workmanship of construction of welder so it will pays attention to weld joint planning which will be used, and position of welder which will be executed, thereby we can determine position of welder which good to facilitating welder process without neglecting quality from weld joint.

Abstract

The past decade has witnessed a rapid growth of interest in the development of fast catamaran for various applications. The paper describes the study of interference resistance components on demihull separation. Catamarans or twin-hull vessels may be formed either by connecting two symmetrical demihulls or by splitting a mono hull into two halves to form two asymmetric demihulls. The slender body method in HullSpeed- Maxsurf Program was used for predicting the resistance components. The method assumes that the ship’s beam is small compared to its length. Effect of resistance interference components on catamaran hull separations are explained and discussed with some work from other published data, which shows good agreement.
