Feasibility analysis project is an important component before a project is carried out, one method to feasibility analysis project is sensitivity analysis. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of building graving dock 18.000 DWT at. PT. Jasa Marina Indah with sensitivity analysis method which will be known sensitivity value of graving dock 18.000 DWT in the form of NPV (Net Present Value), IRR (Internal Rate of Return) and B / C (Benefit Cost Ratio), and also to investigate the higest and lowest feasibility. In this study conducted a sensitivity analysis of graving dock 18 000 DWT which is sensitive to the value achieved capacity of graving dock 18 000 DWT each year, such as if the value of its capacity 100% (fully charged), 15% of the available capacity, 10% of the available capacity, and sensitive to the possibility of late payment of installments to the lend capitalResults showed that the sensitivity of graving dock 18 000 DWT highest if the capacity is filled with 100%, While the value of the sensitivity of graving dock 18 000 DWT in the lowest occur if the capacity of the graving dock filled only 10% of the available capacity

Dalam tugas akhir ini direncanakan kapal penangkap ikan purse seine dengan bentuk lambung Katamaran yang efektif dan efisien dari segi teknis, mengingat kapal tradisional yang sudah beroperasi memiliki banyak kerugian dari segi waktu berlayar dan biaya operasional. Perencanaan kapal ini dimulai dengan penentuan parameter-parameter atau batasan-batasan yang sesuai dengan usaha penangkapan yang akan dijalankan. Perencanaan ini menitikberatkan kepada keunggulan kapal ikan Katamaran dibandingkan dengan kapal ikan purse seine tradisional dengan bentuk Mono Hull. Metode formdata digunakan untuk membuat lambung katamaran. Katamaran dirancang dengan mengambil jarak separasi antar demihull S/L = 0,4. dengan metode slender body didapatkan bahwa kapal katamaran mempunyai hambatan 35,65% lebih kecil dari kapal tradisional dengan lambung monohull. Rancang bangun kapal layar motor ini diangkat berdasarkan adanya kelemahan-kelemahan yang terdapat dalam pembangunan kapal secara tradisional di Daerah Rembang dan pemanfaatan potensi sumber daya angin. Pemanfaatan sumber daya angin dengan cara pemasangan layar pada kapal katamaran dapat memberikan dara dorong tambahan hingga 47,3% pada kecepatan angin 20 knot

Vessel is an effective and efficient medium of sea transportation because it can transport goods in a large number. In planing and constructing the vessel, therefore, it is not only striven to be economical without decreasing its function, instruction of classification, and contruction power, but also simple to get the treatment. It will make the vessel more durable and the condition of equipment structure more stable to support the operation. One the important project and construction is to determine materials that will be used on the vessel. Pipe is a dominant component in operational system of each activator engine. Besides, it is as medium to transfer bold fluid and gas from a space to another space. Hence, it is important to protect the pipe from decreasing function which is caused by corrosion, so that damages the pipe. Considering the high vessel reparation fee, it is better to shade the pipe from the damages. The most efficient and the easiest protection and treatment to reduce corrosion in a pipe system is by using Galvanized method

Pipe stress analysis (piping stress analysis) is more directed to the analysis of flexibility and stress that occur as a result of the force and the expenses incurred pipe (system) in a state of work or ready (steady). In order, system can work optimally and safely in accordance with applicable standards.In this paper, using two modifications to reduce stresses that occurs in the loading and unloading piping system of MT. Avila 6300 DWT using software caesar II v5.10. First, modifications ware made is modification to eliminate overstress can be done by considering the distance by changing the type of support in accordance with the movement of the pipe that occurred (deflection). Second is modification ware made based on calculations of allowable pipe span formulas, then with the analysis by using software CAESAR II v5.10 we can compare and determine the best model of piping systems for MT. Ãvila 6300 DWT tanker ship vessel.

Pada artikel ini penulis mempresentasikan diagnosa kemungkinan kegagalan system injeksi bahan bakar marine diesel engine. Metode yang dipakai berdasarkan indicator diagram analisis. Algoritma dari deteksi kegagalan dikonstruksikan dengan menggunakan neural network. Data dikumpulkan selama tes pada engine merk Sulzr 3 Al 25/30 berdasarkan pengalaman. Indikasi algoritma dicatat oleh indicator eletronik Unitest 201. Tahap-tahap diagnosa riset juga dijabarkan pada artikel ini, yang meliputi data aktual selama eksperimen, diagnosa model konstruksi, kostruksi klasifikator secara otomatis dan verifikasinya. Tujuan metode diagnosa ini bisa dipakai untuk menunjukkan sebuah contoh evaluasi otomatis tahap-tahap teknis sebuah engine, terutama bagian yang mengalami kegagalan. Blasting in the process of planning the workshop production of new building and ship repair to play a role in providing blasting and paint on the block that will be of erection. As a result of blasting workshop facilities that do not have resulted in low production capacity that can be achieved by this workshop, namely three block ships per month. Capacity blasting and paint shop in this low resulted in low productivity process stage (stage) the previous workshops which of course result in a decrease in vessel productivity in general.                In penelitiaan aims to plan for blasting and paint shop facility which has been adjusted to the planned production capacity of PT. JASA MARINA INDAH II units.                In this study it - thing to note is to understand the data - the data field for research conducted in terms of both technical and economic terms, with the blasting and paint shop facilities on the construction or repair of ships that have been planned, then the effectiveness of the work and production flow at. Jasa Marina Indah II units can be known.                Based on the analysis and calculation of both technical and economical it can be identified by the workshop on the process of blasting Blasting efficiency is obtained for 2.55 hours, at 10.16 hours during the painting process, while economical in terms of labor costs can be reduced blasting cost is Rp.930000   for         paint      and        Rp.1.23million

Makalah ini membahas pengujian hambatan model kapal Surface Effect Planning Hull (SEP-Hull). Model uji menggunakan sistem pelumasan udara di bawah permukaan lambung kapal untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem pelumasan terhadap gaya hambatan kapal. Model ini terbuat dari bahan fiberglass dan diuji pada kecepatan, Fn 0.1-1.45, di towing tank- UPT Balai Pengkajian dan Penelitian Hidrodinamika BPPT, Surabaya. Gaya hambatan model kapal diukur dengan alat ukur ‘load cell transducer’. Hasil pengujian model dipresentasikan dalam bentuk grafik dan tabel. Dari hasil uji diperoleh bahwa hambatan total kapal berkurang hingga 30 persen dengan mengaplikasikan sistim pelumasan udara di bawah permukaan lambung kapal. Hasil ini memberikan harapan yang menjanjikan dalam dunia perkapalan.

Fishing vessel Cantrang 9 GT Type belong to Mr.H.Jupri, a fishing vessel ownership at Wedung Demak, still use block ice for cargo hold in which each its wall insulation on Sterofoam. This insulation to be used because is cheapest although it investigated to overall of total cost is rated still not optimal enough. In this final project optimizes original design of cargo hold to replaced by new design alternative in its insulation part with using insulation subtance Polyurethane. Chosen 3 thickness variation of insulations, they are 5 cm (called; Design A), 10 cm (Design B) and 15 cm (Design C). The variation used as principal data to calculate the cooling load, afterward the calculation of block ice needed which to be used for ship operational. Based on insulation and equipment of refrigeration system data, will be calculated economically that is included investation Cost and Operational Cost. The result of calculation of each alternative design that based on economically calculated Method. design C have most advantages economically than others about 36,95 % to original design.Â
