Jurnal Pendidikan Kebutuhan Khusus merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh jurusan Pendidikan Luar Biasa FIP UNP sebagai sarana publikasi ilmiah di bidang Pendidikan Kebutuhan Khusus. Jurnal akan terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun (bulan April dan November). Jurnal Pendidikan Kebutuhan Khusus merupakan jurnal publikasi dibidang penelitian, khususnya pada penelitian anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. Fokus pada jurnal ini diantaranya yaitu: identifikasi dan asesmen anak berkebutuhan khusus, intervensi dini bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus, pengembangan teknologi pembelajran bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus, strategi pembelajaran bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus, program pembelajaran serta layanan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase self-confidence in mentally retarded children who are designed using an application-based self-confidence book so as to provide attraction to the mentally retarded child. The method used in this study is the study of literature by examining 8 journals related to the self-confidence book (busy book) game. The literature review results that have been reviewed are used to develop this research related to application-based self confidence book games for mentally retarded children.The results showed that of 30 mentally retarded children in the intervention group before being given a game showed 16 children experienced insecurity with an average of 2.13, while in the control group showed 18 children experienced insecurity with an average of 1.73. After being given a game in the intervention group showed 14 children experienced self-confidence with an average of 3.20 while in the control group showed 17 children experienced self-confidence with an average of 1.70. There was an increase in the average self-confidence of mentally retarded children before and after the game was given with an average of 2.13 before the intervention and 3.20 after the intervention was given to the intervention group.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini yang menjadi sasaran subjek yang akan diteliti adalah anak dengan hambatan intelektual (down syndrome). Tujuan penelitian mengembangkan tehnik modelling pembelajaran keterampilan bina diri pada anak down syndrome dengan toilet training sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa down syndrome. Dalam membelajarkan toilet training pada down syndrome diantaranya dapat menggunakan media balloon. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian SSR. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi langsung, dokumentasi serta wawancara. Metode pengumpulan data analisis kemampuan toilet training. Hasil dianalisis meliputi jumlah pengamatan dalam kondisi awal sebanyak 8x dan kondisi intervensi sebanyak 52 sesi/minggu. Hasil penelitian ditujukan untuk analisis data dalam kondisi dan analisis data antara kondisi menunjukkan perubahan kemampuan pelatihan toilet X ke arah yang lebih baik, terbukti dari data yang diperoleh selama kondisi baseline, hanya 37, 5% sedangkan data yang diperoleh selama kondisi intervensi pada 50 hingga 52 sesi kemampuan anak untuk pelatihan toilet adalah 100%.

Abstract

Inclusive education is one form of special education in Indonesia to provide opportunities for children with special needs to get an education. But the reality faced by inclusive schools in management and implementation has not been satisfactory. Many things are not in accordance with predetermined standards. In this study using a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research technique was carried out by non-participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The results obtained show that the management of inclusive schools is still unsatisfactory such as the lack of facilities and accessibility of children with special needs, special educators, special assistant teachers. This will certainly affect the quality of education, learning processes, and evaluations carried out so that certain stages also have an impact on the outputs and outcomes of students with special needs

Abstract
