Abstract

Trembesi plant (Samane saman (Jacq.) Merr) is a plant that has the potential as a traditional medicine. According to previous research, the trembesi plant is used by the community as a traditional medicinal plant. Bacillus cereus bacteria as gram positive is the most common cause of diarrhea and vomiting in humans. The purpose of this study was to test the antibacterial properties of trembesi leaf extract against Bacillus cereus. This study used a laboratory experimental method with extraction using the remaceration method with 96% ethanol solvent. Chloramphenicol was used as a positive control, while aquadestilata was used as a negative control. The concentrations used in this study were 10%, 15% and 20%. The results of the research were that the average diameter of the inhibition zone for Bacillus cereus bacteria at concentrations of 10%, 15% and 20% was 21.1 mm, 22.8 mm and 23.5 mm. The ethanol extract of trembesi leaves has antibacterial activity against Bacillus cereus bacteria.

Abstract

With the return to nature movement, the medicine and cosmetics industry is herbal-based. Seeing that beluntas leaves have potential as antioxidants and have flavonoid compounds as antioxidant parameters. The aim of this research was to see the optimal sunscreen formula of 96% ethanol extract of beluntas leaves based on different formula concentrations. The results of the research obtained beluntas leaves which were in accordance with the determination results. The best formula optimization is in formula 3 with the addition of Tween 80 and Span 80. The characteristic test results meet the characteristics in accordance with the requirements which have a pH that is in the range of 3.5-8.0. In the spreadability test of 5.5 and the viscosity test in accordance with the requirements, it ranges from 2000 cp -50,000 cp.

Abstract

The guava plant can be utilized as an antioxidant agent, (Syzygium aqueum (Burm.f.) Alston.) from Malaysia and Indonesia. Guava leaves (Syzygium aqueum (Burm.f.) Alston), stores total flavonoids of no less than 0.07% and 1.65% in the viscous extract of guava leaves. The purpose of this study is to find out the most optimal formula for lip balm preparations that contain 96% rtanol extract of guava leaves as a natural antioxidant. Guava leaves were extracted by the recessation method in 96% ethanol solvent, phytochemical screening of guava leaf extract, ethanol-free test, optimization of lip balm preparations, and then evaluation. The results of the study obtained positive guava leaf extract containing flavonoid compounds, saponins, and tannins. The optimization of lip balm preparations was best produced in the 3rd optimization, the results of the evaluation of lip balm preparations had an average pH of 5.5 to 6.3, the melting temperature test was 54.3-65.3°C, the organoleptis of the preparation was stable during storage and homogeneous but experienced aroma changes in F1-F3, the highest preference test at F2 with an average rating of 3.3. Guava leaf extract has met quality requirements and can be formulated as an active ingredient in lip balm preparations.

Abstract

Abstrak Pelayanan kefarmasian adalah bentuk pelayanan kesehatan yang berada di Puskesmas. Dalam melaksanakan hal tersebut, pelayanan kesehatan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat harus optimal dan bermutu baik Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepuasan pasien terhadap pelayanan kefarmasian di Puskesmas Bangetayu, Semarang, tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Seluruh pasien yang mendapatkan pelayanan kefarmasian di Puskesmas Bangetayu selama periode penelitian dijadikan responden menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mencakup lima dimensi pelayanan kefarmasian: kehandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan, empati, dan bukti fisik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata tingkat kepuasan pasien sebesar 90% dengan kategori "Sangat Puas". Dimensi kehandalan memiliki tingkat kepuasan tertinggi (90,57%), sementara dimensi empati (89,58%) dan bukti fisik (89,45%) menunjukkan skor terendah. Pelayanan kefarmasian di Puskesmas Bangetayu mencerminkan nilai profesionalisme dan tanggung jawab. Kata kunci: Kepuasan pasien, Pelayanan Kefarmasian, Puskesmas Bangetayu

Abstract

Roadside plants are useful as pollutant absorbers (bioreductors), especially pollutants produced by motor vehicles. The purpose of this study was to determine the iron (Fe) content in roadside plants in Madiun city. This study used a survey method by taking plant leaf samples using a purposive random sampling method and analyzing the iron content with XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence). Based on the results of the study, the percentage of iron (Fe) content in Cordyline fruticosa L., Canna indica, Bougenvillea spectabilis, Chlorophytum cosmosum, Duranta repens, Equisetifolia sp, Saraca indica L., Agave gigantea, Ficus benyamina L., Sensevieria sp, Euphorbia hirta, Codiaeum variegatum, Ruellia tuberosa L., Graptophyllum pictum L., Syzygium oleiera plants ranged from 1.1319% - 11.5555%. Roadside plants are useful as iron (Fe) pollutant reducers.
