Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate the effect of the translation of the coordinate system to the shape of the Joukowsky airfoils formed and to compute lift coefficient of the Joukowsky airfoils. The result of the research is the higher the absisca and ordinate of the translation the higher the lift coefficient (with absisca must be greater than ordinate and  both are greater to zero).  If the circle is translated along positive x-axis, the airfoil formed is symmetrical with respect to x-axis.  While if it is  translated along positive y-axis, the airfoil formed is curve shaped.   From the research we also have found the fact the higher the distance of the translation from the center of the coordinate system the higher the thickness of the airfoil formed.

Abstract

 Obligation is one of the financial instruments that can be traded in stock exchange.  To help investors, an obligation has rating that shows its prospect.  Obligation rating is influenced by many factors.  This research will study the effects of financial ratio to rating.  Unfortunately, there are many financial ratios that influence rating, so selection to financial ratio must be done.  For this purpose, two methods will be applied, i.e stepwise logistics regression and genetics algorithm-artificial neural network.  The result shows, that for stepwise logistic regression correctly gives classification 71%, and genetics algorithm 100% training data. For testing data, both methods give the same result, 62% correctly.  Genetics algorithm results selected financial ratio more better than stepwise logistic regression.

Abstract

A factorial design should be used when there are several factors of interest in experiment. The problem which arises when the factorial experiment does not contain equal sized samples in the cells is that the design is nonorthogonal. In other words, the total sums of squares in the ANOVA table cannot be decomposed into a series of additive components which permit the analysis of the separate effect. There are possible situations when the cell sample sized are unequal, allocated proportionately or disproportionately. On the allocated disproportionately, approximate F test using the method of unweighted means.

Abstract

This paper proposes a polytopic LPV controller design for air craft lateral-directional dynamics. The state space matrices of the plant and the controller are represented by using polytopic linear parameter varying model. A controller synthesis is derived by an approach linear matrix inequalities evaluated at the 32 vertices of the polytopic model. From the simulation results, it can be show that a polytopic LPV controller can maintain the closed loop systems stability and performance.

Abstract

Regression approach can be used for solving analysis of variance problems, wether of one way or two ways ANOVA . In ANOVA, model is an important factor. In this paper, we will study two ways classification ANOVA with regression approach for solving the fixed effect model. It can be done if the model is indentified truly and if the preventive procedure have been done so we have an independent normal equation. A characteristic of ANOVA is that the analysis model is overparameterized, so we have to make constraint for the parameters. In the Regression model approach for ANOVA problems, the independent variable X at categorical form 0 and 1 , or we have to make dummy variables at row and colom factors.

Abstract

 An optimation is a classical problem to use determine decision making. Traditionally to solve an optimation problem, it is needed a precission and long time. The improvement of this problem, needs simulation software development, less time relatively, and the result more than manually calculated, cause error probability to much. This research concern to make a simulation software based on Dijkstra Algorithm, as tool to give informations on the optimation decision making.
