Abstract

Good and efficient Air cargo handling, especially for dangerous goods transportation need to be supported by licensed dangerous goods handling personnel and supported by the transport handling facilities as well as standard procedure. Comprehensive standards and procedures are required to reduce the risk of accidents caused by an error in the handling of the dangerous goods transportation. Main problems in this study: first, to analyse the process of air cargo transportation handling at the Adisutjipto Airport; second, to analyse the standard of the dangerous goods handling personel. The cargo handling process consists of Outgoing (Acceptance, weighing, Documentation, Marking & labeling, X-ray, Storage, Build-up, and Loading) and Incoming (Check Incoming Massage, Unloading, Breakdown, check lists, Physical Examination, Storage, Notice of Arrival, Delivered). The mathematical model of Dangerous Goods Handling Personnel Number Standard: DG Personel Cargo Agent Type A = c.% DG. (2,89 x 10^-2) DG Personnel Warehousing Type B = c.% DG (4,53 x 106-3), DG Personnel Airline Type B = c.%DG. (4,89 X 10^-4).

Abstract

Peak hours or peak hours and when there is an Air Force plane that doing regular exercise. Number apron at Yogyakarta Adisucipto international airport just 8 parking stand, while aircraft movement during peak hours reached 10 aircraft even more, so that the common line during the hours puncak. Untuk overcome this new airport Yogyakarta must be realized in order to fit with the capacity kebutuhannya.Kasus second, because the international airport Adisucipto a military-owned airports which are also used for commercial flights, then that becomes the top priority is owned aircraft Air Force. To  and separate from military activities. So that flight activities more effective and can reduce the factor late arrival due to late landing. The technical problem is usually the plane will experience a delay can not predict how long the delay time and this factor also can not be in perediksi when it will be a problem with the engine, fuselage, landing gear, etc. So Line Maintenance personnel in the field should always be alert and responsive when things are going according to the maintenance manual. And always conduct appropriate inspection check list.

Abstract

Potential flow over an airfoil plays an important historical role in the theory of flight. The governing equation for potential flow is Laplace’s equation, a widely studied linear partial differential equation. One of Green’s identities can be used to write a solution to Laplace’s equation as a boundary integral. Numerical models based on this approach are known as panel methods in the aerodynamics community. This paper introduces the availability of a computational tool for constructing numerical modelfor potential flow over an airfoil based on panel methods. Use of the software is illustrated by implementing a specific model using Hess and Smith panel method to compute the flow over a member of the NACA four-digit airfoils.

Abstract

Tower is a structure vertically designed that the blades and other components attached. The process for structural design for the tower starts by identifying all of the requirements, and then specifies the desired design criteria. The desired design criteria are high strength, low cost, lightweight, does not require a large area, ease of assembly and transport. The proposed tower types are guyed, lattice, and tubular. The analysis result shows that the lattice tower type matches with the design criteria. The next processes are modeling and stress analyzing using MSC Patran/Nastran. The maximum stress is 42 Newton per milimeters square and the Margin of safety (MS) value is 7.815, so the structure is safe. In the process of making the composite sandwich wind blades, it is starts with the creation of the master molding, mold, foam cores and assembly. The results of the three blades were made indicate by a difference in weight. It is caused by the manufacturing system (manual). However, the difference is still relevant or good because it is less than 5 percent.

Abstract

The program is implemented by the National Agency of Standardization Education (BSNP) in principle requires the student's participation in the information of various media, one of which comes from the Internet. The role of the school, especially teachers by providing a source material is also very necessary. The more resources available subject should be one of the student's notes of support factors. Digital training network creative services can be an effective learning tool. Digital materials services can be used to connect between the school as a hardware provider, so that information systems can be integrated with each other learning materials between schools and many resource materials obtained . While the data can be integrated materials between schools then use the Web service. Web services are built on a system of service providers that are in each school. The results of the use of Web services technology for systems integration services which are the subject of each school, with testing services that are built at the school system testing and information important that is accessible by the user, ie teachers, students, and office. The results of the study indicate a web service to solve problems by providing a lot of information distributed on the providers and users as needed.

Abstract

Aluminium has a good nature; corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and able to be recycled. But the connection with welding aluminum is difficult to do so we need the right way this study aims to determine the characteristics of the results of weld aluminum with large variations in preheat temperature and current. Aluminum Alloy AA 3003 TIG welded with Filler ER 5356, a variation current 110 A, 130 A, 140 A and preheat temperature of 75 degree celcius, 125 degree celcius, 175 degree celcius, then welds tested tensile, hardness, and microstructure. The results showed that the variation o f the current 110 A with a preheat temperature of 175 degree C has the highest tensile strength and hardness.

Abstract

Biogas is an alternative energy sources as a substitute for fossil fuels in household activities daily, but there are obstacles in the use of biogas, namely the difficulty of arranging a flame that is stable and fuel consumption relatively less efficient biogas. So it takes a design development system that will produce a burning stove produces biogas-fueled stove fits the purpose of research, on the other hand biogas stove should be simple, cheap production price, maximum efficiency and safe to use. Stages in the study include: desk assessment, creation of objective requirements desing, manufacture conceptual and basic design, manufacture real stove. As for knowing the performance of the stove carried ujji stove performance are: test flame stability and efficiency. The results showed that the efficiency of the biogas stove design results in only 31 percent higher than the efficiency of biogas stoves old design, while the fuel consumption of biogas stoves new design is 16 percent lower when compared with fuel consumption of biogas stoves old design. In terms of manufacture and ease of repair and maintenance of gas cookers new design is more easily repaired and easy to make and simple in form compared with the old design biogas stoves.
