Abstract

Njonja Meneer company pointed out that the organization is already doing application coaching, training and development, empowerment and participation in the organizational practices. But in applying coaching and empowerment of the variable is still not carried out optimally. This is apparent from the results of the interviews also showed that employees in the performance of Njonja Meneer company is still low. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of coaching, training and development, empowerment and participation on employee performance in PT. Njonja Meneer. The sample used in the study were sixty people. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS 21. Sampling in this study based on terms the respondents established earlier that all employees and managers of high level from all fields who have worked at least six months and have experienced the process of training development, and has been involved (participating) in decision making in Njonja Meneer company. The results show that the coaching, training and development, empowerment and participation affect the performance of employees above fifty percent. From the results of the regression analysis training and development have the greatest influence on employee performaance. That means training and development at Njonja Meneer company already done well and have the most impact on employee performance than coaching, empowerment, and participation. Abstract

The average stocks return of the initial public offering (IPO) in the U.S. stock market was -29.13% at the end of the third year after the IPO (Ritter, 1991). The conclusion is that the Underperformed phenomenon is influenced by the volume of trade and only occurs in the non-financial sector (Ritter, 1991). Underperformed is a stock return of initial public offerings that have lower performance compared to the market return. Bessler and Thies (2007) stated that the year of going public is the time period of the initial public offering (IPO). There is a time variation in the pattern of benefits, it raises a question of whether companies can maximize the value and amount of funds acquired. In investing, investors consider the return and risk, the expected results of the investment will be realized after a certain period of time and during this period there is a risk of the investments made. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors that affect Abnormal Return on long-term stock performance after 36 months of the IPO. The independent variables in this study consist of Benchmark, Money Raised, Market Value, and Magnitude of Underpricing. The dependent variable is the abnormal return on long-term stock performance after 36 months of the IPO. The samples used in this study were the nonfinancial companies on 2006-2009 period as many as 54 non-financial companies using purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis and performed classical assumption test which include normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroskesdasticity test. The results showed that partially the Benchmark affect significantly and negatively toward Abnormal Return; Money Raised and Market Value does not affect significantly and positively towards Abnormal Return; Magnitude of Underpricing affect significantly and positively towards Abnormal Return. The ability of the four independent variables to explain the variation on the dependent variables amounted to 45.8%, while the rest equal to 54.2% explained by other factors that are not described in the model. Abstract

Background of this research is consumer distrust toward Nokia windows phone. The 3 reasons why consumers didn’t believe nokia windows phone, are as follows : first, Lumia series that exist today can’t be upgraded to Windows Phone 8. Second, If Nokia was later launched a new handset based on Windows Phone 8, they may not be able to compete with iPhone and Android. And the last is, factor of current technological developments Nokia is also contributed to a lack of consumer trust or even believe in Nokia.This study aims to determine whether the brand reputation, brand competence, and brand liking affect trust in brand in Nokia windows phone consumer at Surabaya and analyze the most dominant factor in influencing the trust in brand in Nokia windows phone consumer at Surabaya. The population in this study are the users and ex-users of windows phone Nokia in Surabaya. Samples taken were 96 respondents. Data was collected using a survey method through questionnaires filled out by consumers. Then the data analyzed by using multiple linier regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, brand liking has the most effect on trust in the brand. Followed by a brand competence. The brand reputation have least influence on trust in a brand. Then though the F Test can be seen that the independent variables feasible to test the dependent variable (trust in brand). Figures Adjusted R Square of 0,657 indicates that 65,7% trust in brand can be explained by brand reputation, brand competence, and brand liking. While the rest of 34,3% is explained by other variables that are not described in this study. Keywords : Brand Reputation, Brand Competence, Brand Liking, Trust in Brand

Abstract

Small and medium industry have important role in developing manufacture industries in West Sumatra especially in food sector. Food processing industry in Padang, is potential industry to be developed. Product competitiveness is still lacking in small and medium food processing industry in Padang. The product  distribution is still difficult, this matter need to be considered for the company through the increasing performance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of supply chain management toward company performance. The population in this research is small and medium industry in Padang city that operating in food processing in Padang. The sample that used is 100 small and medium industry from the entire population of 736 small and medium industry, that taken by simple random sampling and the collected data is using questionnaire. Technique analysis used  is multiple linear regression that operated by SPSS programe. Variable information sharing, long term relationship, cooperation and process integration have positive and significant influence toward supply chain management performance on company. Process integration has the biggest significant value, and then information sharing then long term relationship and cooperation. All hypothesis was accepted because the  significant value is lower than 0,05. The result of coefficient determinant is 0,318, it shows that the ability of independent variable in explaining dependent variable is 31,8%. Abstract

The performance is a result of the quality and quantity of work achieved by an officer in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities assigned. One of the causes of the declining performance of the employee is occupational safety and occupational health. This study aims to analyzed the effect of occupational safety and occupational health on employees performance at PT. Apac Inti Corpora Bawen Jawa Tengah Unit Spinning 2. Sampling in this research was using the method of random sampling by taking a sample as much as 81 respondents on PT. Apac Inti Corpora Unit Spinning 2 and using analyze regression method. Collecting primary data is done using the methods a questionnaire, while collecting secondary data done with a method of literature and the source of the internet. Based on the results of the calculation of regression analysis it can be concluded that the variable that have the greatest influence on the performance of the employee is Occupational health (X2) with the value of coefficient regression of 0,371, while the Occupational safety variable (X1) has a value of coefficient regression of 0,272.   Keywords : occupational safety, occupational health, employess performance.

Abstract

This Research was triggered by the development of the internet and appearance of sites. The advantages of news sites are provide information quickly and accessible than newspaper. Suaramerdeka.com is one of news sites, because intense competition, so the site is less enthused. Suara Medeka promoted the sites by using social media and their newspaper. This research aimed to determine the effect of promotion, website quality, and company reputation on accessing decision on suaramerdeka.com. In this research, the data was collected using such as questionnaires given to 75 respondents, in order to determine respondent’s responses to each variable. The analysis used in this research includes Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classic Assumption Test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test), Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Goodness Of Fit (f-test), t-test and Coefficient Of Determination. From the results ofregressionanalysiscan be known that Promotion, Website Quality, and Company Reputation have positive effect on Accessing Decision at suaramerdeka.com which competitive Website Quality is the most influential variable on purchasing decisions, followed by Promotion and Company Reputation. 51.8 % of accessing decision could be explained by promotion, website quality, and company reputation, while the remaining 48.2% could be explained by other variables. Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the influence of core service quality and peripheral service quality to consumer satisfaction on BNI Undip Semarang. The problem that facing by BNI Undip Semarang is consumer’s satisfaction which decreasing, as seen from a lot of complains received from consumer. And this research also aims to analyze the most dominant factors that influence on consumer satisfaction of BNI Undip Semarang. Population of this research are consumers of BNI Undip Semarang. Samples were taken of 100 respondents by using non-probability sampling technique with accidental sampling  approach. Data was collected by using a survery method through quetionnaires which were filled out by consumers. Then, the obtained data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. This analysis includes: validity test,reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing through the t test and F test, and coefficient of determination analysis (R²). From the analysis result, the indicators in this study are valid and reliables. The most dominant factor that influence on consumer satisfaction is peripheral service quality follow by the core service quality. Then though the F Test can be seen that the independent variables feasible to test the dependent variable. The result of Adjusted R Square is 36,2%, it means that independent variable can explain about 36,2% of dependent variable. Abstract

Occupational health and safety (OHS) management system implementation is an effort to reduce the loss of business. Therefore, the management of PT. Phapros, Tbk. decided to obtain OHSAS 18001 certification to support its performance in OHS. This study was conducted to determine the level of compliance related to the OHS company's performance. The collected data were analyzed using factor analysis techniques, followed by Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and then compared with measurements prior to the implementation of OHSAS 18001 using paired t test. The measurement result shows that there is no significant difference of the company’s performance level and the compliance level between company’s performance level and employee’s importance level compared between before and after implementation of OHSAS 18001. While there is a significant difference for employee’s importance level compared between before and after implementation of OHSAS 18001. Policies can be taken according to their priorities, such as high, medium, and low priority. One of the high priority program is to intensify training related to the employee’s OHS understanding and awareness.
