Abstract

The purpose of implementing this self-make-up training is to be skilled at making up oneself for daily activities and official activities. The training activity is carried out in 2 stages, namely, (1) giving make-up material about the concepts, techniques, and tools that are used for make-up, (2) practicing daily make-up is by using simple make-up tools. The methods that are used in this service activity are lectures, demonstrations, and practices. The method is used to emphasizes the involvement of PKK women in all series of activities. The results of the self-make-up training which was attended by 29 PKK women were the improvement of the competence or skills of women in Pulungdowo Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency, based on the results of a survey conducted via google form before training and after training, showing significant changes. Before the training, approximately 15 participants answered that they disagree with the statement that PKK women were able to do self-make-up. While for the survey results after the training activities, approximately 20 PKK women answered agreeing about the statement that make-up training activities can improve their own skills and make up for others. Then it can apply it in everyday life.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang teknik budidaya vertikultur. teknik budidaya vertikultur ini dapat menjadi solusi untuk mencukupi kebutuhan pangan terutama sayuran selama menjalani masa physical distanding Pandemi COVID-19. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi metode sosialisasi mengenai teknik budidaya tanaman sayuran dengan vertikultur, pemberian media tanam, sekaligus praktek unjuk kerja/ demonstrasi terkait tahapan dalam teknik budidaya vertikultur. selain itu juga dilakukan pendampingan secara intensif kepada kelompok ibu-ibu rumah tangga RT 30 RW 10 Kelurahan Mulia Baru, Delta Pawan, Kabupaten Ketapang. Program pelatihan ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai salah satu teknologi budidaya yang dapat meningkatkan usaha produktif dalam menunjang kebutuhan keluarga selama masa Pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

Data wilayah yang rawan persebaran Covid-19 di Kecamatan Baruga belum terdokumentasi dengan baik, namun di sisi lain aparat kelurahan dinilai cukup aktif dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pelaku partisipasi dalam upaya penanganan Covid-19 ini. Kemampuan memahami risiko penyebaran Covid-19 secara spasial menjadi krusial bagi pengambil kebijakan baik di level pemerintahan pusat maupun daerah serta masyarakat dalam memitigasi pandemi global ini. Analisis spasial dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG) untuk memetakan wilayah rawan penyebaran Covid-19. Nantinya hasil kegiatan ini dapat digunakan sebagai data dasar dan landasan dalam merancang kebijakan penanganan Covid-19 dan membuat rencana aksi yang rasional. Luaran kegiatan ini adalah: 1) tersedianya peta wilayah rawan penyebaran Covid-19 di Kota Kendari; 2) tersedianya peta wilayah rawan penyebaran Covid-19 di Kecamatan Baruga; 3) video edukasi pencegahan Covid-19; 4) buku saku Covid-19 dan Upaya Pencegahannya.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved is to improve the skills of the members of Nasyiatul 'Aisyiyah Purbalingga Regency, as well as to fulfill activities in the economic sector. The method of implementation is carried out by lecturing as well as direct training in making hand skills from used plastic bags. Then proceed with an explanation of how to market products through digital media for example Instagram. The output of this service activity is (1) Members of Nasyiatul 'Aisyiyah have skills in processing used plastic into products that are of value to use, (2) Members of Nasyiatul' Aisyiyah can market their products through social media.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide socialization and training to strengthen understanding in calculating and knowing the value of village assets and their calculation techniques. This activity takes place in 3 stages, namely socialization, training and implementation. The socialization activity aims to introduce asset and property valuation theory. Followed by training activities that aim to provide further introduction to the techniques and applications for valuing village assets and property, as well as their implementation in calculating village assets. The result is that the training and implementation of asset appraisal carried out by the service team can increase understanding of the theory of asset and property valuation.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and awareness of elementary school students at SDN Cimaung 2 to foster self-hygiene behavior through the habit of cutting nails and brushing teeth regularly. The preliminary survey showed that more than 50% of students still did not get used to clean and healthy behaviors (PHBS), especially in cutting nails and brushing their teeth regularly. This form of community service is carried out through counseling on the benefits of cutting nails and brushing teeth regularly as well as how to cut nails and brush teeth properly, then followed by direct practice. The evaluation results showed an increase in students' knowledge about the benefits of getting used to cutting nails and brushing their teeth regularly and how to do it properly and correctly. Through PHBS activities at school, it is expected that students can increase self-hygiene awareness and be able to become agents of change in a wider community.

Abstract

Setiap tahun produksi plastik meningkat secara eksponensial, karena kebutuhannya sangat diperlukan oleh manusia. Tapi plastik berbeda dengan limbah yang lain, disebabkan oleh proses penguraiannya. Guna mengurangi populasi limbah plastik, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di desa Wari Ino menitik beratkan pada sosialisasi masalah limbah plastik dan teknik pengolahan. Adapun hasil kegiatan menunjukan perubahan pengetahuan akan bahaya limbah plastik dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna menggunakan sistem pirolisis mampu menghasilkan BBM (Bahan Bakar Minyak) dari plastik jenis HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). Tapi teknologi tersebut masih bersifat prototipe, dan memerlukan pengembangan sehingga dapat dipakai serta diakui oleh seluruh masyarakat secara luas.

Abstract

The purpose of the community dedication program carried out in the Karya Rasa Lestari group is to make a snack product the pilus of catfish flavor. The implementation of this program goes through three stages: the interview stage with partners, literature study through literature review to get the type of mold machine, and training in making Pilus using the molding machine. Based on the literature review, it was found that a molding machine suitable for making Pilus was a vertical type mold machine. The result of the vertical type Pilus mold machine with a capacity of 100 kgs/hour with a diesel engine driving the capacity of 8 Hp. The result of the molding machine has a uniform shape according to the shape of the Pilus which is proven through the training of making Pilus with the taste of catfish. Produce fish taste in Pilus by adding catfish mixed with other ingredients. This Pilus food product is intended to increase the type of processed fish food business in the Karya Rasa Lestari group which will be produced in the future

Abstract

The implementation of this Community Service Program aims to overcome the problems of the Tunas Harapan Baru Farmers Group in Penampi Village, where at this time, when harvest time arrives, many small pineapple fruits cannot be sold until they become rotten. Therefore, to overcome these problems, technology in the form of a pineapple peeler, chopper and dryer was created. This machine uses 3 electric motors which function as pengerak. The pineapple peeler uses a 1.5HP electric motor while the pineapple chopper and dryer use an electric motor 150 w, 220v, 50 / 60Hz, 1.35A. This machine will work when the motor is energized so that this motor will rotate the pulley at the end of the motor shaft. The pulley rotation will be continued by the V belt (V-Belt) so that it rotates the attached pulley.

Abstract

The purpose of this assistance program is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of “Si Mamah Riang” activity, which is an activity to improve family’s knowledge about nutrition and skill in processing local food to prevent stunting. Method: home visits to the target group, organize mother classes for nutrition education and interviews with health officials with a focus on the management of this program. The result showed that 75% of the participating mothers have a sound understanding of nutrition and local food processing skills as well as changing their children’s diet pattern. In conclusion, this activity has succeeded in increasing mothers’ knowledge about the utilization of local food for the prevention of stunting. Nonetheless, the management of this activity itself still needs to be improved to maximize the outcomes.
