Abstract

Lack of student learning concentration during the thematic learning process, which tends to be passive in the learning process. So that students quickly get bored of the teacher's explanation. The purpose of this study was to find out the results of applying the lightening the learning climate method in increasing the learning concentration of class III students at SDN Montok 1. This study used the classroom action research method with the Kemis cycle model which consisted of four stages (planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting). The subjects of this study were class III students at SDN Montok 1. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The application of the lightening the learning climate method is through a game to train student learning concentration, delivery of material and giving written tests or questions to students to find out student learning outcomes. The results of the percentage of student learning completeness in the application of the lightening the learning climate method at the pre-cycle stage only reached 36%, then increased in Cycle I to 80% and experienced another increase in Cycle II, namely 96%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competence of prospective teacher students after the covid 19 pandemic. The method used is review systematic in accordance with Preferred reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISM). Search process focused on article journal about " Post-Pandemic Post-Pandemic Student Teacher Candidate Analysis Abilities " and " Post-Pandemic Student Teacher Competency which will be published in 2021 - 2022. The results of the research show that the quality and competence of student teacher candidates has decreased, this is especially in terms of pedagogy and ability appropriate technology integration. Therefore, there is a need for support in the form of policies that can be implemented by tertiary institutions through faculties in the field of education related to changes in the education system based on blended learning or hybrid learning.

Abstract

Abstract and systematic characteristics make mathematics a difficult subject for students. Appropriate learning methods can affect students' interest in mathematics. Such as using media. The use of media in learning mathematics can contribute positively and provide maximum results in increasing students' understanding of the material being taught. The purpose of this study is to determine students' interest in mathematics and the importance of media in learning mathematics. Learning mathematics can be said to be effective if there is an increase in student learning outcomes, namely the ability to solve mathematical problems, are skilled, creative, and are active in the learning process. This research uses qualitative research. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation which were carried out at SDI KHA Wahid Hasyim Bangil. The data obtained was that teacher used media in learning mathematics and students have an interested in learning mathematics by 96.30%. This shows that the media has a role in the learning process, especially mathematics.

Abstract

The principle objective of this research, first was to survey the need of learning media in four public schools which consist of 55 samples, second was to engage learning media which contain of environmental awareness in primary schools. This research used documentations, observations, and in-depth interviews to collect data. The data analysis used quantitative and descriptive analysis. The findings reveal that learning media in which frequently used by teachers as follows laptop and LCD (31,25%), books (62,5%), and others (6,25%), while learning media which expected or needed by students were: reality (62,5%) and multimedia (37,5%). Findings suggest that teacher might provide reality and multimedia as a learning media which contain interactive material to the students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop student worksheets with the RME approach in the mathematics subject matter of determining speed and discharge in grade V SD as well as knowing the validity of the product that has been developed. This research is a development research carried out using a procedural model, with development procedures according to the Ministry of National Education adapted from the Borg and Gall development procedures. The steps in the development procedure are: (1) analyzing the product being developed; (2) developing the initial product; (3) expert validation and revision; (4) small-scale field trials and product revisions; (5) large-scale field trials and final products. The instruments used included interview guide sheets, LKPD assessment sheets, test questions sheets, and student response scale sheets. Based on the assessment of the developed RME-based LKPD product, it is suitable for learning mathematics for class V SD/MI with speed and discharge material. This research product has been validated by material experts, media experts. The material expert validation score was 88.16, and the media expert validation score was 88. The developed RME-based LKPD product is effective in improving problem-solving skills. This is evidenced by the difference in n-gain acquisition between what students obtained through the pretest and posttest before and after the learning process using RME-based LKPD products. An increase in learning outcomes can be shown from the results normalized in the medium classification so that the level of effectiveness is effective. Therefore, mathematics LKPD with the RME approach on the subject matter of speed for class V SD is said to be of high quality and can facilitate problem solving skills based on valid, effective, and practical achievement criteria.
