Abstract

Background : Healthcare quality should be improved to give patients satisfaction, that will lead them to use the service again and recommend the health center to the other people. The quality also affects the patient revisit rate. Good service and quality have to fulfill five dimensions of service quality, namely responsiveness, assurance, tangible, empathy, and reliability. This research is conducted to acknowledge the relation between health care service quality and out-patient revisit rate in Mijen Community Health Center, Semarang. Methods : This research is analytical quantitative research. The method used in this research is cross-sectional design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, with a total sample of 74 respondents and using  informed consent for the filled in by respondents. The data was taken by using a questionnaire with the rank spearman trial analysis method.Result : 58.1 respondents state that the healthcare service quality is good. 77.0 respondents stated that they are willing to revisit Mijen Community Health Center, Semarang. The result of rank spearman statistic trial shows that there is a correlation between health care service quality and out-patient revisit rate in Mijen Community Health Center, Semarang (p=0,000) which is lower than ά = 0,05.Conclusion : The better healthcare service quality given to the patient, the higher patient revisit rate in Mijen Community Health Center, Semarang.

Abstract

Patients with chronic kidney disease and receiving hemodialysis,  they will deal with chronic stress related to time restriction, financial and functional limitations, dietary restrictions, and drug side effects.  The purpose of the present study was to determine the effect of psychoreligius therapy: Qur'anic therapy (Islamic bibliotherapy) on the religious coping of hemodialysis patients. The study was conducted at Al-Islam Bandung Hospital used  pre-experimental with pre and post-test design. We used purposive sampling, 22 sample, they were 5 years undergoing hemodialysis, able to read and Muslim. Psychological Measure of Islamic Religiousness (PMIR) to measure religious coping with a correlation coefficient of 0.88. ). The sample was given reading with sincere themes, patience, gratitude according to al-Qur' values for 1 month (8 reading themes), about 30 minutes, religious coping measured before and after the intervention. There was a significant effect of the intervention of Quranic therapy on religious coping (p = 0.048 , the analysis used Paired T-test. Islamic psychoreligius Therapy: Qur'anic Therapy promoted to improve religious and coping skills in hemodialysis patients through Quranic Therapy. Therefore, in cases of chronic diseases such as chronic renal failure, nurses should apply a holistic care approach with emphasis on spirituality-based intervention.

Abstract

Bamboo shoots are plants that are very easy to find in Indonesia and can grow anywhere, economically bamboo shoots are very cheap and have been used by people in the world as foodstuffs since time immemorial. Aside from being a bamboo shoot food, it also has functions related to hypocholesterolemia, so it can be used as an alternative non-pharmacological treatment or as a traditional medicine derived from medicinal plants (Complementary Therapy). This study aims to determine the levels of protein, fat, water, ash, carbohydrates, HCN, phenols, flavonoids, vitamin E from bamboo shoots and their antioxidant activity. Bamboo shoots used include: yellow bamboo shoots, wulung, green, apus, and betung. Bamboo shoots are thinly sliced and dried in an oven of 80 0C for 24 hours and smoothed to get bamboo shoot powder and then extracted using 70% ethanol which will be analyzed for chemical compounds using the SNI 01-2891-1992 method for proximate test, HCN test using AOAC, while testing phenol, flavonoids, and vitamin E compounds using a spectrophotometer, testing antioxidant activity using DPPH method. The results of the proximate test analysis of 5 bamboo shoot extract samples showed that yellow bamboo shoots contained at most 0.632% fat, 4.474% water, 0.878 gr ash, 29.78% carbohydrates and 4.12 gr crude fiber. The highest protein content test of 0.41% was found in Apus bamboo shoots extract and the highest HCN content was also in Apus bamboo shoot extract 3.98 mg / 100gr. The highest content of Vitamin E is found in Apus bamboo shoots extract which is 0.3284%, the highest total flavonoid content is found in green bamboo shoots extract that is equal to 0.02778%, the most phenolic content in bamboo shoots extract is apus bamboo shoots extract of 4.4352% and the test results Apus bamboo antioxidant activity is more active as an antioxidant than other bamboo shoots which is 171.15 µg / mL with IC 50 value. This shows that Apus bamboo shoots extract is relatively safe for consumption and has good antioxidant potential and can be used as traditional medicine which comes from medicinal plants (Complementary Therapy)

Abstract

Neurological disorders consist of stroke, meningitis, neurosurgery. Stroke is a condition where there is an attack on the blood vessels of the brain, either in the form of a blocked or ruptured blood vessel. The role of nurses as providers of nursing services is determined from the nursing diagnosis. The study wants to find out the main nursing diagnoses that appear in neurological disorders, especially stroke cases. Descriptive design was used in this study with a sample of 30 cases of patients who experienced neurological disorders using purposive sampling. There were 4 (four) main diagnoses that emerged, namely physical mobility disorders as many as 22 cases (73%), risk of ineffective cerebral perfusion and nutrition deficit of each of 19 cases (63.3%), decreased intracranial adaptive capacity by 9 cases (30 %). Nursing diagnosis in patients in the care ward is more dominant in the rehabilitation phase. Perhaps more research about nursing diagnosis of neurological disorder in emergency departement.

Abstract

Introduction: Early detection of anemia can be performed by mother and the mother should have knowledge and skills in it. Health education is a strategy in providing knowledge, comprehension, abilities and skills for empowerment. This is a quasi-experimental research with pre and post-test design in the same group. Researchers will assess mothers who have elementary school children before and after a pictorial model health education given on how to detect early anemia in primary school children. This research was conducted in Bontokape Village, Bolo Sub-district, Bima Regency. The population of this research was 150 people and 60 people were chosen as samples by purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed by Wilcoxon test. Results: Unskilled category respondents are 91,7% before health education given and decrease to 0% after health education.Pictorial model health education is significantly influence on early detection mother skill of anemia in primary school children (p-value 0,00). Discussion: Narration and animation in teaching and learning process is an interesting media and proven effectively to improve learning result. Pictorial model health education can significantly improve the mother's skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of early detection, the factors that are most influential and related to the ability of early detection of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia in diabetes mellitus patients in Bima Public Hospital in 2017. The method used in this research is an analytical descriptive method and uses a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was all DM patients in Bima Public Hospital in 2017. The sample size was determined by purposive sampling technique, namely 30 people. The study was conducted in the internal medicine room of Bima Hospital. The data were retrieved by using questionnaire of Ability to Detect Hypoglycemia and Hyperglycemia which has been tested for the validity and reliability of the instrument with Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.734. The data analysis process was carried out by using Chi-Square test and logistic regression. Results: The ability of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia to be detected in DM patients in Bima Public Hospital in 2017 was 47% who were able and 58% who were not able with the average of 42.70, with a minimum-maximum value of 34-52. The results of the multivariate test revealed that the duration of DM disease had the most significant effect on the ability of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia detection (p-value = 0.001, OR 39.429). Discussion: Improving the quality of nursing care through self-care education in the right nursing perspective with regard to the characteristics of the respondents, one of them is a history of long-term DM disease, can prevent acute hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia.
