Abstract

Storytelling is an activity carried out by someone to explain a concept, information, or other mere tales which can be done in writing or orally. This type of storytelling can be done with or without props. Storytelling is a universal communication method that has a big impact on humanity. It can be said that through good stories, children can not only learn about fun or entertainment, but also gain broader education. It is even more accurate to say that stories that highlight various aspects of children's creation and storytelling are an effective way to develop interest in reading. This research uses the Library Research method, namely the study of literature related to research and data collection through surveys. Interest is not an innate factor, but a taught factor. The interest and habit of reading, especially in children, cannot be overcome by itself. Therefore, it is necessary to develop habits and introduce reading. A child's love of reading is greatly influenced by the behavior of his teacher and the people around him. Children who enjoy learning often have teachers and tutors who can help them learn. The desire to learn can be cultivated in children by providing appropriate examples. Children love to imitate the attitudes and behavior of people they admire during their early childhood.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the perspectives of ulama and medical personnel regarding the treatment of people with mental disorders (ODGJ) through ruqyah therapy. This research method uses a qualitative research design by gathering information from sources using direct interviews. The participants who took part in this research included 3 ulama, 1 ruqyah practitioner, and 1 medical staff. This research was conducted at the Manarul Huda Islamic Boarding School, the Addzimat Da'I Indonesia Islamic Boarding School, the AR-Rohmat Islamic Boarding School, the Ruqyah Practitioner's House and at the zoom meeting media. The Rugyah method is used as a medium for healing mental disorders. Ruqyah itself is one that uses verses from the Al-Qu'an and prayers taught by the Prophet Muhammad. Ruqyah therapy is recommended by ulama because it has a positive impact, but it also needs to be integrated with conventional medical treatment. Further observation and research is needed in the application of ruqyah therapy to treat mental disorders.

Abstract

Deep reflection on the teachings and moral views in the Quran and Hadith has been done by many Islamic scholars and thinkers. From this reflective activity, they produce concepts of Islamic ethics with various typologies depending on the style of thinking. Fakhry through his research classified the typology of Islamic ethics in four categories: scriptural morality; theological ethics; philosophical ethics; and religious ethics, and established each of their exponents. However, the scope of his study is still limited to the Arab-Persian region and its figures who lived up to XIII century. This research seeks to go beyond that by focusing on Syekh Yusuf al-Makassari-a major Nusantara figure who lived in the XVII century-and determining the typology of his ethical thought. By utilising Fakhry's view on the typology of Islamic ethics as the theoretical basis, the results of this study demonstrate that Syekh Yusuf's ethical thinking belongs to the typology of religious ethics. This is because it contains various aspects that are the main components of religious ethics, namely aspects of the Quran and Hadith, theology, philosophy, and Sufism.

Abstract

Gamification, an approach that integrates game elements into non-game contexts, has attracted attention as an innovative tool for increasing students' learning motivation. In the context of Islamic education, the application of gamification offers great potential to make religious learning more interesting and interactive. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of gamification in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic religious subjects, as well as identifying challenges that may be faced in its implementation. Literature studies show that gamification can create a more enjoyable learning environment, increase student engagement, and encourage the development of critical thinking skills. Elements such as points, badges, levels, and competitions can motivate students to achieve learning goals. However, there are several challenges in implementing gamification in Islamic education. One of them is the need to adapt game elements to Islamic values. In addition, limited resources and technological infrastructure can be an obstacle.
