Al-Irsyad: The Counseling and Education Journal is scientific journal in education and counseling guidance that managed by The Bimbingan Konseling Islam Majors of Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Faculty of UIN Sumatera Utara Medan. Al-Irsyad presents topics about development of counseling guidance profession as a teacher based on the four competence of a teacher. They are pedagogic, personal, social, and professional. Besides that, Al-Irsyad is also emphasize to the integration of islamic values. Al-Irsyad is published two times in a year. There are January-June edition and July-December edition. The first edition of Al-Irsyad was Vol.1, No.1, January-June Edition on 2012, but was not yet have p-ISSN and e-ISSN. Then, in Vol.5, No. 1, January-June Edition on 2015 was published in print with p-ISSN: 2088-8341. Further, Vol. 10, No.1, January-June 2020 Edition on 2020 edition publish OJS with e-ISSN: 2686-2859.

Abstract

Children are the greatest assets of parents, and therefore must be educated as well as possible so that later they can be people who can provide happiness to parents. Educating children is a long process that must be considered by parents in accordance with the level of development. The family as the first and foremost educational tool for children must be able to create an atmosphere and educational process for children based on the child's developmental tasks and the needs of the times while still emphasizing the values of intelligent characters.Keywords: Family, child protection, guard

Abstract

The responsibility of Islamic education is not only mandated to individuals, both parents, families, schools, communities and governments but also is the responsibility of faith, morals, physical, resourceful, spiritual and social. This responsibility is basically aimed at guiding, directing and implementing education so that students have faith, have good morals, be healthy physically and spiritually and with their minds can understand the metaphysical trilogy; God, nature and humans. The responsibility of spiritual education is so that people can worship, guide the spirit with a splash of religion and remembrance. While the responsibility of social education is to shape the personality of students and the community so that they have a complete personality and the community has the responsibility to invite people to the path of goodness, compassion and to prevent people from the path of munkar so that an ideal or best society (khairu ummah) is formed.Keywords: Islamic Education, Responsibility

Abstract

Karya penelitian membahas upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi zakat di SMP Negeri 16 Medan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena rendahnya hasil belajar yang ditandai minimnya siswa yang mampu melampaui nilai KKM. Dalam penelitian ini ditawarkan penggunaan metode team quiz dalam pembelajaran PAI materi pokok zakat.Rumusan permasalahan yang dikemukakan adalah, apakah metode team quiz dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi zakat di SMP Negeri 16 Medan? Permasalahan tersebut dikaji dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Metode pengumpulan data memakai teknik dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa metode team quiz dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar materi pokok zakat pada kelas IX SMP Negeri 16 Medan Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Data yang peroleh menunjukkan bahwa pada pra siklus nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 66,25, pada siklus 1 meningkat lagi menjadi 79,25 dan pada siklus 2 naik menjadi 89. Adapun data ketuntasan klasikal pada pra siklus sebesari 13 (32,50%), pada siklus 1 sebesar 25 (62,50%), dan meningkat kembali pada siklus 2 menjadi 39 (97,50%)..Keywords: Zakat, Team Quiz, Hasil Belajar.PENDAHULUAN
