Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the percentage and level of parasite infestation of gastrointestinal nematodes (NGI) in cattle based on different areas in Aceh Province. The samples in this study were cow feces taken each 3 (three) subdistricts in Gayo Lues District with 64 samples and East Aceh district with 93 samples. For sample examination and see infestation picture have been done with laboratory test by using Method of centrifuge and Mc method Master. For data analysis done with Prevalence test and formulation of Mc. Master. The results showed that based on percentage of gastrointestinal nematode attendance level in Gayo Lues District, there were 15 positive samples (23.44%), while in East Aceh of 93 samples examined there were 33 positive (35.48% ), seen a higherpercentage in East Aceh (0.05). Meanwhile, based on egg yield per gram of feces (TPGT) showed that Gayo Lues Regency is higher than East Aceh, where in Regency of  Gayo Lues from 15 positive number of eggs there were 20,661 grains (1377 grains / head), while in East Aceh from 33 positive , the number of eggs is only 23,595 grains (715 eggs / head), seen from TPGT result shows there is real difference (p 0,05).

Abstract

Research on the ability of plants to reduce and transport pollutants, especially heavy metals to date continues to be done in line with technological developments. Hyperaccumulator plant species are still very limited, therefore research that leads to the search for these types of plants is still very necessary. The author wants to do research on the Result of Measurement of Waste Simulation of Phytoremediation Plant (Typha Latifolia, Enceng Gondok, Kiambang) in absorbing heavy metals.The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of phytoremediation plant measurements on th esimulated waste in absorbing heavy metals. The simulated wastes used for the three plants (Typha Latifolia, Enceng Gondok and Kiambang) are concentrations of 200 ppm, 150 ppm, 100 ppm and initial control. The highest analysis result of the highest measurement was obtained on the waste simulation of typha latifolia with 100 ppm of 25,1 gram and followed by water hyacinth 100 ppmequal to 18,8 gram. Resume from the accumulation of the three plants and the three different waste simulations, the typha latifolia plant has the best measurement results. This proves that typha latfolia plants have high absorption for heavy metals, and is a plant used as one of the heavy metal absorbent plants

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the B3 waste management system in the District General Hospital dr. Drajat Prawiranegara Serang District 2016, identifying the sources and characteristics of B3 waste in their respective sources of waste in the District General Hospital dr. Drajat Prawiranegara Serang District with existing standards. This study uses observation.  collecting datausing systematic observation techniques, while in-depth analysis of the data processed by qualitative techniques to describe the efforts pengelolahan hazardous wastes and toxic B3 at Regional GeneralHospital dr. Drajat Prawiranegara Serang District were then compared with BAPEDAL regulation No. 01/05 / 1995. The results showed the Regional General Hospital dr, Serang regency degrees Prawiranegara produce volumes of hazardous and toxic waste. Efforts management of hazardouswastes and toxic B3 of the lug or packaging, storage, transportation done well.

Abstract

The industrial liquid waste is very dangerous because it still contains elements of pollutants with a relatively large waste parameters. One way that can be used is by the method of adsorption or absorption. In this research the absorbent used is Natural Zeolite in nano meter scale. Zeolitewith nano meter size is obtained by smoothing using ball mill for 15 - 20 hours. Furthermore, nano zeoliteis activated physically and chemically. Nano zeolite will be characterized using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infarared (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and characterization of N adsorption desorption. Results of the study obtained the highest adsorption capacity and percent removal is performed by ziolites that are activated with nano-size ZnCl2 with a value of 440.5 mg/g for adsorption capacity and 65.9% for percent removal. In this study, the equation for calculating the zeolite performance in lowering the COD content in the effluent was used Langmuir’s isotherm equation. The determinant coefficient (R22) of the Langmuir isotherm equation for 35 μm zeolite and non-activated nano meter performance were 0.9974 and 0.9983, respectively. While unzaked zeolitefor size 35μm and nano meter are respectively equal to 0,9977 and 0,9197.

Abstract

Banda Aceh is a city as well as the capital of Aceh Province that has many potentials, both in industry, fishery, history, tourism and others. One area that has the potential to be developed is the field of tourism, because the field of tourism is one source of local revenue. This research was conducted at the Department of Culture and Tourism of Aceh in 20017. The objectives of the research formulate the development strategy of Banda Aceh tourism object through SWOT approach. The results of the analysis obtained are: maintaining and improving the quality of tourist attractions, coordination with the government (related departments) and the community in the development of tourism object, utilizing the support of pemko and the community to improve the quality of tourist attractions, cooperate with special business in the field of marketing, improve the quality of human resources and multiply the supporting facilities oftourism

Abstract

Agricultural waste such as rice straw, rice husk and rice husk ash have not been utilized properly. This waste of agricultural produce can actually be used as an alternative to bionanofiller because it contains an excellent source of silica. The silica content contained in the rice waste when combined with the polymer matrix can produce composites having high thermal and mechanical properties. Characterization of bionanofiller from this rice waste is done by SEM, XRF, FTIR, XRD and particle density. The result of SEM analysis from this rice waste is feasible to be used as filler because it has size 1 μm. Likewise with the results of XRF analysis that rice waste contains a high enough silica component that is 80.6255% - 89.83%. FTIR test results also show that bionanoparticles from rice waste have the same content of silica. In the XRD analysis the best selective gain of rice waste is found in rice husk ash which is characteristic of amorp silica at a range of 2ϴ = 22. The largest density analysis of paddy waste was found in rice husk 0.0419 gr / cm , followed by rice straw by of 0.0417 gr / cm 3 and rice hulk ash 0.0407 g / cm 3

Abstract

PT Lotte Chemical Titan Nusantara (PT LCTN) is a Korean Foreign Investment Company in Cilegon City which is a polythylene producing industry. PT LCTN produces waste water into the sea. Wastewater treatment refers to the Decree of the Minister of Environment Number 22 of 2011 on the Permit for Disposal of Wastewater into the Sea of PT Titan Petrokimia Nusantara. Thepurpose of the research is to identify the problem and the improvement step in wastewater treatment. The effectiveness of wastewater treatment  erformance at ETU (Effluent Treatment Unit) in 2015, especially on test parameters such as Total Dissolved Solid, TSS (Total Suspended Solid), Nitrate, Nitrite, BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) and COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand). Statistical analysis SPSS Version 22 shows the average value of inlet and outlet there is a difference because the value of trithmetic is smaller than t table. In other words can give a significant influence on theinlet and outlet. Percentage effectiveness of TDS reach 33,33%, TSS reach 91,67%, nitrate reach 25% while for nitrite reach 83,33%.

Abstract

This study is aimed at studying the projection of harvested area and production for 10 years, the influence of rice cultivation technology on increasing rice production and the role of BRIA Rice Information System to food availability system in Serdang Bedagai District. The data collected were primary and secondary data that analyzed by linier regression to figure out the projection of harvested area and production, logistic regression to recognize the influence of rice cultivation technology on increasing rice production and FGD to figure out the role of BRIA Rice Information System in favorregional food availability. The result of this study showed that there was an upward trend in harvested area and production in Serdang Bedagai District of 2012-2022. Rice cultivation technologies have given significant influence to increase rice production. BRIA Rice Information System has played a part of supporting real-time data and information to support the regional food availability.

Abstract

Utilization of wood powder is one of the alternative in waste wood prevention which has not been optimally utilized. Utilization of bionanofiller based on wood waste such as wood powder can also reduce dependence on raw materials such as silica, clay, bentonite, zeolite which diminished its existence. The sample used in this study is Meranti wood powder which is then prepared and characterized. The characterization of bionanofiller waste of Meranti wood powder is done by analyzing particle density, XRD, SEM, and FTIR. Particle density analysis showed Meranti wood powder having density of 0,044 gr/cm . XRD analysis shows that the maximum peak at an angle of 2θ = 22,2o 3 indicates the presence of carbon phase. The results of SEM analysis of Meranti wood powder are suitable for use as fillers because they are 1 μm in size. The result of functional group analysis shows the presence of functional groups -OH, -CH3, -CH2, C = C, C-H and C-O.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of water pollution, the factors causing water pollutionand to know how to minimize the level of water pollution wells in Gampong Beurawe Kuta AlamDistrict Banda Aceh. Water quality analysis in this research was conducted by comparing parametersmeasured with water quality standard parameters in accordance with the provisions of Minister ofHealth Regulation No. 492 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010 on the Terms of Water Quality. The sample ofthis research is well water taken in 5 hamlets (A, B, C, D and E) in Gampong Beurawe Kuta AlamSub-district for 5 samples (each 1 sample for each hamlet). The results of measurements on 5 samplesshowed that the well water was odorless, the standard temperature, normal color, TSS and E colidid not exceed the maximum standard of drinking water. For the total parameter of coliform, only 1hamlet is B hamlet which meet the standard that is equal to 47/100 ml. Dusun A, C, D and E, totalcoliform content did not meet the standard that is equal to 68, 70 and 86/100 ml, so that water wells in4 hamlets are not in accordance with Permenkes Number 492 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010 about QualityTerms Clean water. Beurawe well water pollution is mostly caused by household wastewater, smallindustry and waste of trading activities
