Abstract

Low Birth Weight incidence is caused by several factors including maternal age <20/> 35 years and LILA <23.5 cm. The results of the preliminary study at the TawangrejoCommunity Health Center in the City of Madiun, from 2016 there were 20 Low Birth Weightwhile in January-June 2017 there were 24 Low Birth Weight. The problem of this study isthe increase in the incidence of Low Birth Weight. To analyze the relationship between age and maternal nutritional status based on thesize of the upper arm circumference with the type of Low Birth Weight. This study is an analytical cross-sectional study with a population of all infants withbirth weight less than 2500 gram in January-April 2011 taken by simple random sampling of23 infants. Data sourced from secondary data in the form of medical records. Theindependent variables of maternal age and nutritional status based on the size of the upperarm circumference and the dependent variable type Low Birth Weight were then analyzedusing the Fisher Exact test. This study showed that the majority (69.6%) of mothers giving birth in the agecategory were not safe, causing premature Low Birth Weight (38.5%) and Low Birth Weightat term (61.5%). And most (65.1%) mothers gave birth in the category of Lack of ChronicEnergy, causing premature Low Birth Weight (38.5%) and Low Birth Weight dismatured(61.5%). From the Fisher Exact test results obtained value p = 0.011 for age and p = 0.024for LILA size with a significance level of α = 0.05, because p <α then H1 is accepted. This study has a relationship between age and maternal nutritional status based on thesize of the upper arm circumference with the type of Low Birth Weight. Pregnant and givingbirth at an unsafe age and Lack of Chronic Energy tend to give birth to babies with LowBirth Weight. From the research conducted, it is expected that health workers will furtherimprove health promotion by carrying out prevention through early detection of pregnancyby early ANC examination with the 7T standard.

This studyaims to determine the difference of menstrual cycle between 1 month injection acceptor and3 month injection acceptor in BPM Ny. S Village Kluwih Tulakan District Pacitan. This type of research is comparative analytic. The research design in this researchis analytical case control (retrospective). The variable in this research is menstrual cyclebetween 1 month injection acceptor and 3 month injection. Measuring tools used interview.Population of 80 injection contraceptive injectors (40 1 month injections of contraceptiveinjectors, 40 3 month injecting of KB acceptor) and 60 samples of KB acceptor usingaccidental sampling technique in February 2017.Method of data analysis using T test withsignificance determined by value ρ < 0.05.The results showed that the frequency of menstrual cycle of 1 month injections ofcontraceptive injectors showed that from 30 respondents, 26 respondents (86,7%),menstruation cycle 28-35 days (regular), and 3 month period of menstruation of 3 monthinjecting contraception showed that from 30 respondents obtained more than half or 21respondents (70%) menstrual cycle > 35 days (irregular). Based on the result of paired TTesttest, the signification level is 0,000 < 0,05 so that H0 is accepted, meaning that there isdifference of menstrual cycle of 1 month injection acceptor and 3 month injectioncontraceptive injection. It is suggested to the officer to increase the extension activity to KB injectors toincrease knowledge and insight about side effects of injecting KB.

Abstract

For women, the perineum is very important stretching and lubricating the perineum during labor can weaken the pelvic floor muscles in the vaginal wall, trauma to the perineum also causes discomfort and pain during sexual intercourse and an estimated 85% of maternal mothers experience birth canal lacerations (Kettle and Tohil 2008). One of the fears that are often felt by pregnant women, especially third timers, is fear of being torn and afraid of sewing. Especially for mothers who have experienced it, this can make their own trauma when facing the birth process later (USU, 2006). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of parity to the degree of laceration of the birth pathway in Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. The design or design in this study is correlation analysis, with the "retrospective" approach. This study analyzed the relationship of parity with the degree of laceration of the birth path in Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. In this study, the population was all mothers giving birth at Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. The samples in this study were all mothers giving birth at Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. In this study by looking at the last 1 year data. In this study the independent variable is parity. In this study the dependent variable is the degree of laceration of the birth canal. Based on the calculation results of SPSS 11.5 for Windows, it was found that there was no relationship between parity and laceration degrees in the Jetis Lor Polindes, Nawangan Subdistrict, Pacitan Regency, from the results of probability (sig. 2-tailed) 0.22 <0.05.The researcher hopes that the mother will seek information and increase knowledge about the labor process, so that with good knowledge will reduce lacerations on the birth canal
