Abstract

ICT-based learning resources that are developed still need to be improved, especially in areas where learning facilities are lacking. It causes students difficulty in understanding the learning material. This study aims to develop an e-module on static fluid material based on corporate edition flip pdf software. The type of research used is Research and Development with the ADDIE method. The research object was class XI SMA, with a trial sample of 25 students. The research instrument consisted of validator sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning achievement test sheets. Data analysis techniques consist of descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the static fluid physics learning e-module had a validity percentage of 89.95% (very good). The level of practicality of the static fluid physics learning e-module through the results of student responses is 87.42% (very good), and the teacher's response results are 86.25% (very good). The level of effectiveness of the learning e-module through students' learning interest obtains the medium category, and the increase in students' physics learning outcomes obtains the medium category. It indicates that the use of e-modules impacts interest and learning outcomes. The implication of this study is that learning e-modules are available in flip pdf corporate education that can be used by students and teachers as learning resources and can be accessed online online.

Abstract

The use of the Estudy application in e-learning by students of the Faculty of Engineering must be carried out due to the demands of circumstances that require studying from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the acceptance of e-study application technology by Engineering faculty students during online learning is carried out. This type of research is quantitative by surveying students. The model used for analyzing technology acceptance is that proposed by Davis. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire that was distributed to students via the Google form link which was distributed online. The sample in this study amounted to 128 people. The data analysis technique used is a correlation. The study results showed that engineering faculty students showed positive attitudes and behaviors in using the Estudy application as an educational platform in e-learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus the use of the e-study application during the Covid-19 pandemic by utilizing the Estudy application by engineering faculty students had a positive effect on learning from home in the form of e-learning. Future e-study applications can be used as e-learning media by students in lectures.

Abstract

Online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic made teachers and students study separately and resulting in low student learning enthusiasm. This study aims to create a learning media Role-Playing Game (RPG) to increase student motivation. This research is Research and Development with the Alessi & Trollip model. The population in this study amounted to 512. The sampling technique was a simple random sampling of 120 students. At the alpha test stage, the media was validated by 3 media experts and 3 material experts. After the revision was carried out in the alpha test, the media was beta tested to determine its effectiveness in increasing student learning motivation. The data collection method is quantitative, using a questionnaire instrument and quantitative data analysis using the SPSS 25 program. The results showed that the RPG media created was in the "Very Appropriate" category with an average percentage of 95%. It was concluded that learning using RPG media proved to be more effective than classes that did not use RPG or conventional media, with a score obtained from the statistical test results at a significance level of 0.000 which is less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). This study implies that teachers need to choose media suitable for learning needs to attract students' enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

The success or failure of a lesson will be seen during the teaching and learning process because it will show how prepared the learner is with the suitable materials and strategies. This study aims to analyze the need for developing teaching materials, designing teaching materials, and validating the validity and practicality of the effectiveness of developing teaching materials in English courses. This research method is Research and Development. The development model refers to S. Thiagarajan et al., which consists of 4 stages: Define, design, develop, and Disseminate. The research subjects were 38 students and one lecturer. Data collection techniques using qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires). English teaching materials were developed and validated by material and media experts, with material and media validation being very valid. The small group trials obtained a very practical category. In contrast, the large group trials obtained a practical category and, as seen from the lecturer's response in assessing teaching materials, obtained a very practical category. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of teaching materials can be seen from the passing rate on tests given to students, with results > 80 in the very good category. Based on the results found, it can be concluded that practical and effective teaching materials are used in the learning process in English courses.

Abstract

Currently, village midwives are experiencing an increased workload because there are more and more health service programs, so they cannot provide optimal sustainable midwifery care. This study analyzes the relationship between iPosyandu application-based training media and training materials for continuing midwifery care and learning evaluation. This type of research is analytical research with a cross-sectional research design. The research subjects were 110 people. Data was collected by providing the village midwife with an online questionnaire (google form). Univariate data were processed and analyzed to determine all research variables' mean and standard deviation values. Bivariate data analysis with Pearson test due to the type of numeric data. The study found no correlation between the components of the training curriculum (including training materials, learning media, and learning evaluation) and continuing midwifery care competencies. However, there is a significant correlation between training materials and learning media. In addition, a significant correlation was found between learning evaluation and learning media. It was concluded that the components of the training curriculum were interrelated so that the iPosyandu application could be used as a training medium for all competencies in training. This research implies that midwives can use the iPosyandu application as a learning medium that makes it easy to access training materials, thereby saving training costs for midwives as training participants and organizers.

Abstract

Rapid development of fashion industry affected by digital technology has produced major opportunity in entrepreneurship. Significant obstacles that shall be solved are enthusiasm and student’s personality in entrepreneurship. Process of digitalization dominated in business sector has become solution that can be integrated in vocational education. This research aims to measure level of enthusiasm and entrepreneurial personality of vocational students. Descriptive research with qualitative method is used to quantify the level. 198 students from vocational educations are participated as respondents in this research. Four-Likert-scale questionnaire is applied as data collecting tool. Descriptive statistic is applied to analyze the level of enthusiasm and entrepreneurial personality of students. Meanwhile, independent sample T-test is applied to compare the two levels. The result of research reveals that high average level of enthusiasm and entrepreneurial personality of students in vocational educations that are implemented digital entrepreneur of 75,56%, while it is inversely proportional to vocational educations that do not apply of 70,51%. The process of entrepreneur in vocational education with integrated digital technology becomes innovative way that should be done while digitalization is getting stronger, so that enthusiasm and entrepreneurial personality can be improved.

Abstract

Industrial revolution 4.0 changes the pattern of human life. One of the changes is the essential skills that workers must master. The automotive world is experiencing rapid development, so workers entering this field must be prepared carefully. As a transfer of knowledge and forming a reliable workforce candidate, teachers must know the essential skills that will be taught to students to face the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study aims to analyze the literacy level of SMK teachers majoring in Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering towards the essential skill needs in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The research uses a quantitative approach using a survey research design. This study involved 168 SMK teachers majoring in Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering as the research sample. Collecting data using a questionnaire with a four-choice Likers scale instrument and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the literacy level of SMK teachers majoring in Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering towards essential skill needs in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and included in the high category. Essential skills include digital and information skills obtaining a percentage of 75.05%, learning skills obtaining 75.33%, and life and career skills obtaining 76.13%. Although overall, in the high category, there are several items of teacher literacy on essential skills that need to be improved.

Abstract

The development of technology is directly proportional to the progress of education. It requires students to continue to improve their learning capacity, including using technology to support learning. The ability of students to use digital platforms is one of the skills students must have to be able to face the new era of the 21st century. This research aims to analyze prospective teacher students' digital literacy and its effect on independent learning ability to face 21st-century skills. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The population is 84 active students. Data collection was carried out by conducting surveys and distributing questionnaires. Instruments used in digital literacy questionnaires and self-directed learning. Data analysis technique using simple linear regression analysis. This study found that the correlation between the variables was positive but included in the low category. Conversely, the indicators for each variable have a good score or value with the ability to use digital technology of 76.12% and an evaluation of 62.97%. It is concluded that the higher a person's digital literacy, the higher the strength of a person's independent learning ability. Learning to do self-management is significantly related to information literacy skills, namely analyzing information. Differences in independence result in differences in the ability to absorb the material and use technology appropriately.

Abstract

Learning is designed to increase student participation in the learning process by presenting real problems to be solved by students. This study aims to identify the feasibility and effectiveness of using an interactive e-module based on the case method in increasing student learning motivation. This type of research is development. The method used in developing the product is ADDIE. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and pretest-posttest results. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using parametric statistics with paired sample t-test and independent t-test. The assessment results by experts show that the interactive e-module based on the case method is feasible to use in the learning process. The results of statistical tests show that H1 is accepted, so there is a significant difference in the average student learning motivation between the experimental and control classes. Thus, the case method-based interactive e-module has been confirmed to be effective in teaching Microeconomics and can be developed for other courses with some technical adjustments.

Abstract

Learning Islamic financial literacy from an early age is essential so that it accumulates into adulthood. The application of Islamic financial literacy learning needs to be supported by learning media on the preferences of students' learning styles. The purpose of the research is to analyse augmented reality's effectiveness in increasing Islamic financial literacy for elementary school students. This experimental research tests the effectiveness of augmented reality-based learning media in increasing Islamic financial literacy and analyses students' experiences using the media. The method was quasi-experimental, using 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, with a total sample of 30. Data collection techniques used were test instruments and questionnaires. The data analysis used is the paired sample test and gain value analysis. The results of the paired sample test showed that in the experimental group, there was a significant difference in the pretest and posttest values. Analysis of the gain value in the experimental group was 0.7 (Medium), while in the control class, it was only 0.09 (Low). Students responded well to the user experience of augmented reality media, and the majority (73%) stated that AR was easy to use and understand, had clarity, accommodated user involvement, and had an interest in reusing the media.
