The Karangkates railway tunnel in Malang Regency is more than half a century old and has undergone land use changes into settlements and highways. This study aims to identify cavities between the ground surface and the roof of the Karangkates tunnel using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data. Primary data were obtained through GPR measurements and interviews with residents. Qualitative methods are used to analyze GPR interpretation data readings and risk analysis. Risk analysis is carried out to determine the location and area of cavities and compile long-term risk management. From the results of the GPR analysis, 6 points were found with protruding cavities, with a cavity depth between 8 to 13.4 meters. The location of such cavities is in residential areas and highways. Risk management measures appropriate to the analysis and observation of the research site are carried out to reduce the impact of risk. The results showed that the risk value was low. By implication, appropriate corrective and maintenance actions must be taken to mitigate risks and maintain public safety.

Company performance is a measure of company management's achievement in utilizing company’s financial resources. Besides showing the effectiveness of asset management, good performance reflects stable profitability. Covid-19 pandemic has decreased the revenues gained by companies of various sectors, resulting in lower company performance. To maintain their sustainability, some internal policies were implemented, by taking into account some factors that can affect company performance which include remuneration of directors, earnings management, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership. Eight transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 period were purposively selected as samples based on the predetermined criteria. 32 observations were performed to investigate the influences of director’s remuneration, earnings management, managerial ownership and institutional ownership on company performance. After that, the gaps in company performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic were also analyzed. The results showed that director’s remuneration negatively affected the company performance. Furthermore, earnings management and managerial ownership have a positive effect on company performance, and institutional ownership has no effect on company performance.

The quality of BMKG's financial reports needs to be improved in the context of bureaucratic reform and efforts to achieve transparency and accountability in government financial reporting. This research aims to analyze the influence of human resource competency, utilization of information technology, and data reconciliation with organizational commitment as a moderating variable on the quality of BMKG's financial reports. Non-probability sampling with purposive sampling was used to select the sample, resulting in 254 respondents participating in this study. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data analysis method employed was Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS SEM) using the Smart PLS program. The results of this research indicate that human resource competency, utilization of information technology, and data reconciliation have a significant positive effect on the quality of financial reports. Organizational commitment as a moderating variable can strengthen the influence of human resource competency on the quality of financial reports, but it cannot enhance the influence of information technology utilization and data reconciliation on the quality of financial reports. The implication of this research highlights the importance of developing human resource competency and implementing appropriate information technology in the preparation of high-quality financial reports.

The growth of global demand for qualified Indonesian seafarer labor is a key issue in this study. This study aims to analyze the impact of global work competencies and the mediating role of sensory, behavioral, and intellectual experiences in accepting end users in crew management companies. The study involved 240 crew managers/supervisors who interacted with Indonesian seafarers. The analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Method. Research findings show that global work competencies have a significant effect on end-user acceptance. Nonetheless, sensory experience does not mediate the relationship between global work competence and end-user acceptance. In contrast, behavioral and intellectual experience play a key role as mediators, with intellectual experience having a more prominent impact than behavioral experience in increasing end-user acceptance. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of global work competence and intellectual experience in increasing end-user acceptance in the context of crew management. The implications of this research support the development of global work competency development strategies to improve service quality in the shipping industry.

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the liquidity (those that are proxy ed with current ratio) and good corporate governance (those that are proxied with size of the board of commissioners, proportion of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership) to risk disclosure. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis for manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2016-2018. The research sample consisted of 13 companies with a purposive sampling method. The reason for using the 2016-2018 period is to get the condition of manufacturing companies in Indonesia which were still relatively stable before the Covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that managerial ownership had a significant positive effect on risk disclosure. Liquidity, size of the board of commissioners, proportion of independent commissioners, and institutional ownership do not have a significant influence on risk disclosure. The novelty of this research is the formation of a theoretical model of good corporate governance through indicators of managerial ownership in influencing risk disclosure, thereby providing an overview of the importance of ownership by managers so that risk disclosure can be carried out optimally. This research contributes to the understanding of the factors influencing risk disclosure and provides guidance for companies in improving good corporate governance to achieve optimal risk disclosure.
