Abstract

Civics learning as education that forms attitudes and character has not been fully successful, because in learning praxis there are still many cognitive-oriented, so the problem in this study is the focus of civics learning that leads to cognitive aspects. The purpose of this study was to analyze the success of implementing the learning model used by teachers. The subjects in this study were teachers who taught elementary school students of lower grades, especially grade 3, five parents of students and twenty-five elementary school students. The research method used in this study is qualitative using a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used is by observing the participants, interviewing and using a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used were transcription, reduction in labelling/coding, and triangulation. The results showed that the average score of student responsibility was 82.20 or as many as 88% of students who had a good attitude toward responsibility after students studied the material on Rights and Responsibilities at Home. The results of this measurement indicate that the attitude of responsibility possessed by students is one of the factors in the learning process experienced by students when the brain-based learning model is applied and used.

Abstract

Learning during the pandemic hasn’t optimally, literacy has decreased so it is necessary to cultivate digital literacy. This study aims to analyse the cultivation of digital literacy and its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research includes qualitative research with a descriptive type. The subjects of the study were teachers, students and principals. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and documentation, instruments in the form of interview guidelines, observation sheets and documents. Test validity of the data using source triangulation techniques.  Research data analysis is interactive analysis. The results showed that the cultivation of digital literacy can be through activities: 1) digital-based learning, 2) introduction to use of laptops, 3) education on the wise use of cellphones. The cultivation of digital literacy is influenced by several supporting factors, namely: availability of infrastructure, commitment of school residents to increase digital field, the inhibiting factors are the competence of educators, students and parents are low in the digital literacy, there isn‘t internet at home, the focus of teachers in digital literacy is lacking due many tasks, lack of infrastructure. Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of teaching materials in the form of worksheets, the material presented is less attractive so that it cannot be on time during the learning process. This affects the ability of students to think critically to solve material problems of change of form. This study aims to develop an inquiry-based e-module of transformation for grade 3 elementary school students. The subjects of the study were 10 grade 3 elementary school students. Development research methods using 4D models include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Intrument used in this study is questionnaire sheets. The data analysis used quantitative and qualitative techniques through media and material expert validators and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the inquiry-based phase change e-module was declared feasible or valid with an average score of 94.16% (Media Expert) and 82.36% (Material Expert). The use of e-modules through a questionnaire response of 92.75% of teachers and 84.79% of students was efficient. Therefore, it influences students' understanding of phase change material with an average value of 81. So that inquiry-based phase change e-modules can help students improve students contextual abilities foster students' cognitive and independent attitudes.

Abstract

Technological adaptation is being pursued, especially in the educational world, which is currently in an emergency period, thus it forces learning adaptation. During this time, human' brains start to think the new ways to solve their problems or what helps their activities. From this process, technology emerges and is growing. Technology has many benefits and convenience in the world of education, but it still has not fully benefited yet in education. Furthermore, the government created the program the Kampus Mengajar to improve the quality of schools from many sides, one of them being technology. This research aimed to design the program of technological adaptation conducted in the targeted school for the Kampus Mengajar. The research design used classroom action research. The subjects involved students of grade 5 in the targeted school for Kampus Mengajar. The data of this research were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this finding showed that the uses of video, online quizzes, zoom meeting, computer device, the application of the AKSI assessment, and AKM simulation are effective, though it was not maximally used for online learning. This research concludes that several programs require more in-depth preparation to be effective in online learning in the targeted schools of the Kampus Mengajar.

Abstract

The implementation of online learning carried out in the past year has reduced student activity in learning so that many students are less focused in the learning process. This study aims to improve student learning activity in online learning using the Discovery Learning model. This study uses a collaborative classroom action research model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The research subjects were students of class B which consisted of 32 people. Data collection uses interview, observation, test, and documentation techniques as supporting data. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by looking for the mean. Qualitative data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive. The learning process is carried out online to increase student learning activity using the Discovery Learning model. The results showed that the use of this model in learning can improve the student learning process, especially in the online learning process. This is evidenced by the increase in learning activity which in the first cycle reached the classical percentage of 37.5% to 84.3% in the second cycle. This research implies that the Docovery Learning model can increase student activity in online learning in the Basic Social Studies course.

Abstract

Currently, there are still many schools that only focus on textbooks without the innovation and creativity of teachers in preparing teaching materials, so that it is very influential for the learning process. The purpose of this study was to develop design and feasibility of teaching materials based on Flipbook Maker application. The test subjects in this study were content experts, designs, instructional medias, and second grade elementary school students. This study uses the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected using observation, interview and questionnaire methods. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. However the results of data analysis as follows. (1) Design of Flipbook Maker-based e-teaching materials which consists of five stages, namely the analysis stage (Analyze), the design stage (Design), the development stage (Development), the implementation stage (Implementation), and the evaluation stage (Evaluations). (2) teaching materials which are based on the Flipbook Maker have a good quality based on the results of the review of subject matter experts showing a score of 96%, the results of the learning design expert review showing a score of 100%, the results of the media expert review showing a score of 95%, the results of the individual test showing a score of 97.6% and the results of the small group trial showed a score of 99% so that the overall score showed a very good category. It is concluded that flipbook maker-based teaching materials are suitable  used for learning.
