The era development: digital disruption, however, has created ( given birth to) itsgeneration: Gen-Y (Millennial) and Gen-Z. These generations cannot be forced to follow theold pattern, since they were indeed born from the modern/postmodern generation: internet;social media. To improve information literacy of this generation, school libraries have a rolethat is not the same as in the previous era. Librarians/ schools who manage the schoollibraries should provide a broader and easy access facilities. This is very urgent in order thestudents no longer find the libraries in their schools only full with old books. The result of the study shows that thefaliatradition is a custom and belief practiced by Muna community on things that cannot be doneor spoken or undesirably unwanted to be done or spoken by someone or a group of peoplesince it is considered a taboo. In the falia tradition there are universal human values, suchas moral teaching and ethics, respecting and appreciating the result that is communicatedindirectly. The teaching or moral messages and ethics the the principle is a form ofcharacter education since it develops a person’s behavior in order he or she always speakpolitely, behaves ethically, has good manners and good ethics. The moral messages in thefalia tradition is among others implicitly stated in falia that is related to ethics, motivationto lead a successful life through hard work and accomplished work, and falia whichrecommends the need to appreciate other’s works.Keywords: Falia, control mechanism and social order.

PELATIHAN PENULISAN ARTIKEL UNTUK PUBLIKASI DI JURNAL ILMIAHUNTUK MENINGKATKAN PROFESIONALISME BAGI GURU-GURU DIKECAMATAN KUBUTAMBAHAN KABUPATEN BULELENGOlehKetut Sedana ArtaJurusan Pendidikan SejarahABSTRACTThe main objectives of the Community Service activities are: (1) Enhancing thedevelopment of teachers' professionalism in the context of promotion requirements, (2)Improving the ability of teachers to compile and present scientific papers, (3) Produceproducts of scientific work that are ready to be published in scientific journalsThe results obtained from all stages of the P2M implementation activities can be detailed asfollows: teachers at every level the ability to write scientific articles is still lacking. Someobservations and interviews with teachers provide clarity as to why teachers have not beenable, willing, and used to writing science. The causes of the low ability of teachers in writingscientific papers, namely: (1) lack of knowledge, understanding, and skills of teachers inwriting scientific papers, especially writing scientific articles, (2) limited scientific readingfacilities, especially in the form of scientific magazines or journals, (3) the unavailability ofmagazines or journals in the school or district education office that can accommodate thewritings of the teachers, (4) the limited implementation of scientific writing competitions heldby the education office at the national, provincial and district levels, and (5) the lowmotivation of teachers to take part in scientific writing competitions. In connection with this,there are several strategies offered, one of them is by conducting article training forpublication in a journal. After being given training by a team of experts from UndikshaSingaraja, elementary school teachers can begin to compile and package articles.Keywords: write, articles, published, scientific, journals

PERANAN PERPUSTAKAAN DALAM PENGEMBANGAN LITERASIPADA PENGELOLA PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH DI KABUPATEN BULELENGOlehI Wayan Mudana, dkk.ABSTRACTThis community work aimed at constructing the role of librarians in developingliteracy in the young generation. This study was done with the elementary school teachersin Buleleng regency by reading two main materials that discuss the role of librarians indeveloping literacy, both in relation to the development of basic reading and writingliteracy and developing data literacy, technology, and humanity literacy. Theimplementation of this community work was done in the form of a constructive lecture anddiscussion.This activity ran well according to the plan and the participants were enthusiasticparticipating in it. The participants said that they were very interested and got a widerinsight about the role of a library in developing literacy. Thus it can be used as a model ofreference in strengthening the role of libraries in developing literacy at their respectiveschool.Keywords: role, library, strengthening, literacy

Abstract

PRESERVASI NASKAH LONTAR KUNODI MUSEUM GEDONG KIRTYA SINGARAJA BALIOleh:I Putu Putra Yana WardanaABSTRACTThis study aimed at describing the activity of preserving ancient lontar texts, findingout the physical condition of the lontar text, finding out the damaging factors, theenvironmental control done and especially the extent the preservation process of mediumtransfer from the physical form to the digital one has been done by people who are incharge in Gedong Kirtya museum management in keeping the existence of the lontar. Thisstudy used a qualitative approach. The study used observation, interview, and documentanalysis as the methods of collecting the data. Based on the facts above it can be said thatGedong Kirtya has made an effort to preserve the texts which are stored in it. Thepreservation effort made has been in the form of closely following the condition in themaking , caring and storing the texts being managed.Keywords: preservation, text, museum, Gedong Kirtya.PENDAHULUAN
