Abstract

Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif.. Abstract

PENERAPAN METODE BERCERITA BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR MEMBACA MENULIS PERMULAAN BAHASA INGGRIS Gede Wira BayuPendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, FIP Universitas Pendidikan GaneshaEmail:wira.bayu@undiksha.ac.id  Abstract This research is classroom action research which is involved the students in II/C class SD Negeri 3 Banjar Jawa at the second semester of the academic year 2010/2011. This research implemented in three cycles and the focus of the action is in the implementation of telling story method with drawing media and involved the miter teacher directly in collaborative work to improve student’s interest and achievement in learning reading and writing English for beginners.The result of this research showed that the implementation of telling story method with drawing media is success to improve student’s interest and achievement in learning reading and writing English for beginners. Better attention, willingness, and effort of the students showed that the interest of the students is improved, and better achievement in every cycle from cycle 1, 2 and 3 is appropriate with the aims of this research.Students opinion showed that 52% of them is like the implemented of telling story method with drawing media and 70% of them declared that this method can improved their willingness in studying English especially reading and writing. It’s indicating that this method is effective. Based on the research finding, generally recommended that this method need to be implemented in the elementary school to support the improving interest and achievement of the students in learning English.  Key words: Telling story method, Drawing media, Interest and Achievement.

UPAYA MENGOPTIMALKAN PERAN PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH MELALUI PENGELOLAAN YANG PROFESIONAL I Ketut ArtanaPustakawan Utama Universitas Pendidikan GaneshaEmail:Bagasartana@gmail.com AbstrakPerpustakaan sekolah memiliki peran yang penting dan strategis dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Perpustakaan sekolah memiliki tujuan untuk menunjang pelaksanaan program pendidikan dan pengajaran di sekolah.Perpustakaan sekolah harus dikelola secara profesional oleh para petugasnya sehingga keberadaannya dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh pemustaka.Dalam pengelolaannya mengalami berbagai hambatan, diantaranya terbatasnya ruang untuk perpustakaan termasuk letaknya kurang strategis, keterbatasan bahan pustaka, terbatasnya jumlah tenaga dan kurangnya promosi perpustakaan.Namun demikian, perpustakaan sekolah harus dioptimalkan pengelolaanya. Untuk itu, komitmen dari pihak perpustakaan dan pihak lain terkait bersatu padu memajukan perpustakaan sekolah, perlunya layanan perpustakaan berbasis TIK, pemeliharaan fasiltas dan manajemen perpustakaan, penyediaan tenaga perpustakaan yang memadai dan perencanaan pengembangan perpustakaan sekolah yang cermat, sistematis dan teratur. Adapun pengelolaan perpustakaan yang profesional dilaksanakan pada bidang koleksi, layanan, sarana dan prasarana dan sumber daya manusia. For this reason, commitments from the library and other related parties have come together to advance the school library, the need for ICT-based library services, maintenance of library facilities and management, the provision of adequate library staff and careful, systematic and orderly school library development planning. The professional library management is carried out in the fields of collection, services, facilities and infrastructure and human resources. ANALISIS BUKU KARYA GRUP FACEBOOK KELAS MENULIS PUSTAKAWAN SEBAGAI PENGUAT EKSISTENSI PUSTAKAWANNoorika Retno WiduriPustakawan Ahli Madya UPT Balai Informasi Teknologi - LIPIE-mail: noorika.rw@gmail.com AbstrakFenomena media social tidak selamanya berdampak negative, tentu ada sisi positif yang dapat dimanfaatkan.Media sosial para prinsipnya adalah terkoneksi satu dengan yang lainnya, atau berjejaring.Hal tersebut memungkinkan orang berkumpul dalam suatu komunitas yang memiliki kesamaan minat.  Media social yang paling trend di Indonesia adalah facebook.  Grup Kelas menulis pustakawan merupakan komunitas yang memanfaatkan media social facebook dalam pergerakannya.Komunitas ini beranggotakan pustakawan dan para pemerhati kepustakawanan, lebih spesifik lagi dengan kesamaan minat dalam bidang kepenulisan.Selama kurun waktu satu tahun, grup ini menghasilkan 3 buku bertema kepustakawanan yang ditulis bersama-sama.Pada kesempatan kali ini, penulis menganalisis jumlah penulis produktif, sebaran penulis dan satuan kerja penulis.  Hal yang menarik adalah karena grup ini menggunakan sarana   online dalam semua proses bisnisnya. Disamping itu, buku-buku ini memperoleh endorse dari para tokoh terkenal juga melalui komunikasi online. Social media in principle are connected to one another, or networked. It allows people to gather in a community that has similar interests. The most popular social media in Indonesia is Facebook. Librarian writing class group is a community that utilizes social media facebook in its movement. This community consists of librarians and librarians observers, more specifically with the similarity of interests in the field of writing. the same. On this occasion, the authors analyzed the number of productive writers, the distribution of writers and the writer's work unit. The interesting thing is because this group uses online tools in all its business processes. Besides that, these books get endorsements from well-known figures also through online communication. During the year since the formation of this community, there were a total of 52 contributors for three different titles. KEBUTUHAN INFORMASI DAN PERILAKU PENCARIAN INFORMASI PENELITI PUSAT PENELITIAN BIOMATERIAL LIPI Oleh :Rahmadani Ningsih Maha, M.HumPustakawan Muda PDDI LIPI AbstrakKebutuhan informasi peneliti adalah satu hal penting yang harus diketahui oleh pustakawan. Tanpa pustakawan ketahui apa yang diminati oleh peneliti dan bagaimana sesungguhnya perilaku mereka memperoleh informasi akan menjadi suatu ancaman terhadap keberadaan fungsi dan peran perpustakaan dan pustakawan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kebutuhan informasi peneliti, bagaimana perilaku para peneliti memperoleh informasi dalam mendukung penelitian dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Kajian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif guna mencari deskripsi yang tepat dan cukup dari semua aktivitas, objek, proses dan manusia. Metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada perwakilan peneliti dari 4 bidang kelompok penelitian di Puslit Biomaterial LIPI yang berjumlah 23 peneliti sebagai responden. NEEDS FOR INFORMATION AND BEHAVIOR OF RESEARCH INFORMATION RESEARCH CENTER FOR LIPI BIOMATERIAL RESEARCH By:Rahmadani Ningsih Maha, M.HumYoung Librarian PDDI LIPI AbstractThe information needs of researchers are one important thing that must be known by librarians. Without librarians knowing what researchers are interested in and how their behavior actually obtains information will be a threat to the existence and function of libraries and librarians. This study aims to evaluate the information needs of researchers, how the behavior of researchers obtain information in supporting research and scientific development. This study is a descriptive study in order to find an appropriate and sufficient description of all activities, objects, processes and people. The method of collecting data through questionnaires was distributed to representatives of researchers from 4 fields of research groups in the LIPI Biomaterial Research Center, which amounted to 23 researchers as respondents.
