Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru, motivasi guru, dan kompetensi guru dalam kaitannya dengan pengembangan profesionalisme guru fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga orang guru fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. Data pada penelitian ini berupa hasil wawancara, kuesioner, observasi, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan mengenai persepsi, motivasi dan kompetensi guru fisika dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme guru fisika. Instrumen dalam penelian ini adalah peneliti, dibantu dengan intrumen wawancara dan kuesioner untuk mengetahui persepsi, motivasi dan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme guru. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. 1) Guru memiliki persepsi yang baik terkait profesionalisme guru serta memiliki upaya untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, 2) Motivasi guru fisika untuk mengembangkan profesionalisme guru ditunjukkan dengan aktif mengikuti seminar tentang peningkatan dan pembaharuan pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, bertanggung jawab atas tugas, melaksanakan tugas dengan cepat dan tepat waktu, berusaha untuk mengungguli orang lain dengan prestasi yang dimiliki, serta membuat suatu penelitian pendidikan, 3) Guru fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Seririt menguasai empat kompetensi guru yaitu kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi profesional dan kompetensi sosial, 4) Guru fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Seririt diakui telah profesional karena telah memiliki sertifikat pendidik, 5) Upaya untuk mengembangkan profesionalisme guru yakni dengan memenuhi kualifikasi, kompetensi dan sertifikasi guru.Kata Kunci : persepsi, motivasi, kompetensi, profesionalisme guru This study aimed at describing the perception, motivation and competence of the teachers in relation with the development of physic teachers’ professionalism at SMAN 1 Seririt. The type of this research was a qualitative research. The respondents of the research consisted of three physic teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. Data of this study were the result of the interviews, questionnaires, observation, documentation and field notes about the perception, motivation and competence of the physic teachers in developing their professionalism. The instruments used in this study were interviews and questionnaires to know the perception, motivation and competence of the teachers in developing their professionalism. The results of the study are 1) the teacher have good perception in relation with the teachers’ professionalisms and they also have efforts to improve their professionalisms as the teachers, 2) the physics teachers’ motivation in developing their professionalism were shown by actively participating in a seminar about the improvement and renewal of education to improve the teachers’ performances, responsibility of the task, performed their task rapidly and timely, tried to outperform others with achievements, and made an educational research, 3) the physics teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Seririt master four teacher competencies, namely pedagogic competence, personal competence, professional competence and social competence, 4) the physics teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Seririt are acknowledged to be the professional teachers because they have had teaching certificates, 5) the efforts to develop the teachers’ professionalism can be achieved through the fulfillment of the qualifications, competence and teacher certification.keyword : perception, motivation, competence, teachers’ professionalism

Abstract

Abstrak Pengelolaan pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum 2013 dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengelolaan pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengelolaan pembelajaran guru berbasisi kurikulum 2013 di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Tahapan yang ditempuh adalah pralapangan, lapangan, dan pascalapangan. Sampel sumber data penelitian diperoleh secara purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan observasi partisipasi pasif, wawancara mendalam, penelaahan dokumen tertulis, dan triangulasi/gabungan. Sumber data primer didapat dari satu orang guru dari kelas X SMA Negeri 1 ubud. Sumber data sekunder diperoleh melalui kepala sekolah dan siswa. Sumber data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, catatan lapangan, dan penelaahan dokumen tertulis. Aktivitas analisis data di lapangan terdiri atas data reduksi, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, danverifikasi. Pengujian keabsahan data dilaksanakan melalui validitas internal, validitas eksternal, uji depenability, dan uji confirmability. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilaksanakan didapatkan hasil berikut.1) Guru memahami pendekatan saintifik sebagai poros penting dalam dunia pendidikan. 2) Perencanaan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru sudah memadai dan memuat fase mengamati, menanya, menalar, mencoba, dan mengomunikasikan. 3) Pengembangan dilaksanakan pada RPP, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran. 4) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan meliputi pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan penutup. 5) Penilaian yang dilaksanakan oleh guru meliputi penilaian sikap, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan. Pengelolaan pembelajaran guru berbasis kurikulum 2013 sudah nampak pada semua aspek, tetapi masih perlu penyempurnaan terutama dalam pelaksanaan,dan penilaian.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci: pengelolaan pembelajaran, kurikulum 2013 Abstract Curriculum 2013 based learning management was implemented to know the description of Curriculum 2013 based learning management. This study aimed at revealing the Curriculum 2013 based teacher learning management in SMA Negeri 1 Ubud. The study was a qualitative study. The steps of the study were pre-field, field, and post field. Samples were obtained purposively. Data acquisition techniques were implemented through a passive participation observation, deep interviews, review of written documents, and triangulation / combination. The source of primary data was obtained from a teacher who taught at class X of SMA Negeri 1 ubud, while the secondary data was obtained from the principals and students. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, field notes, and review of written documents. The activity of data analysis in the field consisted of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. The validity test of the data was carried out through internal validity, external validity, depenability test, and confirmability test. Based on the analysis, it is obtained that. 1) Teachers understand the scientific approach as an important pivot in education. 2) Planning study conducted by teachers has already been sufficient and has loaded the phases to observe, ask, argue, try, and communicate. 3) Developments are held on RPP, at the implementation of learning, and at the use of instructional media. 4) The implementation of learning includes the introduction, core activities, and closing, 5) assessment conducted by teachers includes assessing the attitudes, skills, and knowledge. Curriculum 2013 based teacher learning management are apparent in all aspects, but still need improvement, especially in the implementation and assessment.keyword : Keywords: Learning management, curriculum, 2013.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis pengaruh self-regulation terhadap prestasi belajar fisika, 2) menganalisis pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap prestasi belajar fisika, 3) menganalisis pengaruh study habits terhadap prestasi belajar fisika, dan 4) menganalisis pengaruh self-regulation, self-efficacy, dan study habits terhadap prestasi belajar fisika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kausal-komparatif atau ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Gianyar yang terdiri dari 7 sekolah. Jumlah populasi 2017 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 352 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik proposional random sampling. Data self-regulation, self-efficacy, dan study habits dikumpulkan menggunakan kuisioner. Data prestasi belajar fisika siswa dikumpulkan dengan tes prestasi belajar berbentuk tes objektif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif, uji regresi sederhana, dan ganda tiga prediktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan self-regulation terhadap prestasi belajar fisika dengan kontribusi sebesar 0,7% (F = 7,703; dengan p < 0,05), 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan self-efficacy terhadap prestasi belajar fisika dengan kontribusi sebesar 2,2% (F = 10,520; dengan p < 0,05), 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan study habits terhadap prestasi belajar fisika dengan kontribusi sebesar 7,1% (F =35,193; dengan p < 0,05), 4) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan self-regulation, self-efficacy,dan study habits terhadap prestasi belajar fisika dengan kontribusi sebesar 10,0% (F = 12,851; dengan p < 0,05).Kata Kunci : self-regulation, self-efficacy, study habits, prestasi belajar This study aimed at 1) analysing the influence of self-regulation towards physics academic achievement, 2) analysing the influence of self-efficacy towards physics academic achievement, 3) analysing the influence of study habits towards physics academic achievement, and 4) analysing the influence of self-regulation, self-efficacy, and study habits toward physics academic achievement. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengamati kompetensi praktis dan strategi pembela-jaran yang diterapkan oleh guru (kompetensi guru) yang relevansinya terhadap kinerja siswa dan interaksi sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif yaitu penelitian dengan tujuan utama untuk menggambarkan dan menginterpretasi fenomena atau hubungan antar fenomena secara sistematis, faktual dan akurat. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah pentingnya peran kompetensi guru terhadap keberhasilan pencapaian suatu pembelajaran khususnya terhadap kinerja siswa dan interaksi sosial dalam pembelajaran fisika.Kata Kunci : Kompetensi guru, strategi pembelajaran, kinerja siswa, interaksi sosial This study aimed at observing the practical competence and learning strategies applied by the teacher (teacher's competence ) which has a relevancy with the student’s performance and social interaction in learning physics. This study used a descriptive research with the primary objective was to describe and interpret the phenomena or relations between phenomena systematically, factually and accurately. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar, (2) Mendeskripsikan pengaruh konsep diri terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar, dan (3) Mendeskripsikan pengaruh motivasi belajar dan konsep diri terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasional dengan desain ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar. Sampel diambil dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 9 kelas dengan jumlah 171 responden. Data nilai motivasi belajar dan konsep diri diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Data nilai prestasi belajar siswa diperoleh dengan tes. Data dianalisis dengan teknik statistika deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda 2 prediktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara konsep diri terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. (3) Terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi belajar dan konsep diri secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar. Kata Kunci : motivasi belajar, konsep diri, prestasi belajar siswa. This research aimed at (1) describing the influence of learning motivation towards academic achievement of 10th grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar, (2) describing the influence of self-concept towards academic achievement of 10th grade student of SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar, and (3) describing the influence of learning motivation and self-concept towards academic achievement of 10th grade student of SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar. This research type is correlational with ex post facto design. The population of this research were all of 10th grade student of SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar. Sampling was done by proportional random sampling technique and the samples consisted of nine classes with 171 respondents. Data of learning motivation and self-concept were obtained by quisioner. Data of academic achievement were obtained by test. Data were analysed by descriptive statistics technique and multiple linear regression with 2 predictors. The results of this research shows that (1) there is a significant influence between learning motivation towards student’s academic achievement. (2) there is a significant influence between self-concept towards student’s academic achievement. (3) there is a significant influence between learning motivation and self-concept towards student’s academic achivement of 10th grade student of SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar. keyword : learning motivation, self-concept, student’s academic achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan pengelolaan kelas sebagai upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data penelitian adalah fakta dan hubungan antara fenomena terkait keterampilan pengelolaan kelas, motivasi belajar, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Instrumen utama adalah peneliti sendiri dan instrumen pendukung berupa angket motivasi belajar dan tes prestasi belajar. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan langkah kerja adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data, dan uji keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan pengelolaan kelas yang diterapkan oleh guru fisika mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar siswaKata Kunci : Pengelolaan Kelas, Motivasi Belajar, Prestasi Belajar, Pembelajaran Fisika This study aimed at describing the classroom management skill as an effort to improve students’ learning motivation and achievement. The method used in this study was qualitative. Data of this study was the facts and relationship between the phenomena which related to the classroom management skills, learning motivation, and student achievement. The main instruments were the researcher itself and supporting instruments such as learning motivation questionnaires and learning achievement test. Data analysis followed by working steps was data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and data validity test. The results of the study indicate that the class room management skills applied by a physics teacher is able to provide a positive impact towards learning motivation and student’s achievement.keyword : Classroom Management, Learning Motivation, Achievement, Learning Physics

Abstract

Evaluasi tindak guru dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam pengimplementasian pendekatan scientific. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keberhasilan kegiatan pembelajaran oleh guru fisika dalam menerapkan pendekatan scientific pada Kelas XI Program MIPA di SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja. Penelitian evaluasi tindak guru adalah jenis penelitian evaluatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 2 orang guru fisika beserta seluruh siswanya pada Kelas XI Program MIPA di SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja. Penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian evaluasi tindak guru fisika dalam pengimplementasian pendekatan scientific berdasarkan atas 6 Standar Nasional Pendidikan. Jenis evaluasi yang dilakukan merupakan evaluasi formatif dan sumatif dengan menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Evaluasi context mengacu pada standar isi dan standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Evaluasi input mengacu pada standar proses ditinjau dari perencanaan pembelajaran dan standar sarana dan prasarana. Evaluasi process mengacu pada standar proses ditinjau dari pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Evaluasi product mengacu pada standar kompetensi lulusan dan standar penilaian pendidikan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan dokumentasi dengan instrumen APKG I, APKG II, IPKG, angket tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap pembelajaran fisika, serta menggunakan metode wawancara dengan instrumen berupa pedoman wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan penskoran dan pemaparan secara naratif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru fisika dalam pengimplementasian pendekatan scientific di SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja pada evaluasi context, input, process, dan product sudah sesuai dengan 6 Standar Nasional Pendidikan, namun masih perlu dimaksimalkan. Berdasarkan standar proses, kinerja guru cenderung (sangat baik) dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, dan cenderung (baik) dalam pelaksanaan maupun evaluasi pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : tindak guru fisika, pendekatan scientific, evaluasi model CIPP, Standar Nasional Pendidikan Teacher action evaluation was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of learning and constraints faced by teachers in implementing the scientific approach. This study aimed at measuring the success of learning activities by physics teachers in implementing the scientific approaches at Class XI Mathematics and Science Program of SMAN 3 Singaraja. The study of teacher action evaluation was a type of evaluative research. The subjects of the study were 2 physics teachers and all students in Class XI Mathematics and Science Program of SMAN 3 Singaraja. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the research subject. Physics teacher evaluation research in implementing the scientific approach was based on six National Education Standards. Type of evaluation was a formative and summative evaluation using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model. Context evaluation referred to the content standard and standard of teachers and education personnel. Input evaluation referred to the standard of the planning process in terms of learning and standards of facilities and infrastructure. Evaluation process referred to the standard process in terms of implementation and evaluation of learning. Evaluation product referred to the competency standard and assessment standard of education. Data of this study were collected by using the method of observation and documentation of the instruments APKG I, APKG II, IPKG, and questionnaire responses of teachers and students towards physics learning, as well as using interviews with instruments in form of interview guides. Data were analysed by scoring and explaining narratively. The results shows that the physics teacher performance in implementing the scientific approach in SMAN 3 Singaraja on the evaluation context, input, process, and the product is in conformity with the National Education Standard 6, but still need to be maximized. Based on the standard process, the performance of teachers tend to be very good in learning plan, and tend to be good in the implementation and evaluation of learning. keyword : the action of physics teacher, scientific approach, CIPP model evaluation, the National Education Standards

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan interaksi edukatif guru fisika dalam pembelajaran fisika, (2) mendeskripsikan dampak model pembelajaran terhadap interaksi edukatif guru fisika, (3) mendeskripsikan kiat-kiat guru fisika dalam memberikan edukasi kepada siswa, (4) mendeskripsikan upaya guru fisika mendidik siswa dalam aspek kecerdasan emosional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian adalah guru fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura. Data-data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi pembelajaran fisika. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa, (1) interaksi edukatif guru fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura cukup baik yang ditandai dengan munculnya komponen dan ciri-ciri interaksi edukatif. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa komponen dan ciri-ciri yang belum optimal diterapkan oleh guru fisika. (2) Model pembelajaran memiliki dampak terhadap interaksi edukatif yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan interaksi pad masing-masing model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura. (3) Guru fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura memiliki kiat-kiat dalam mengedukasi siswa dalam aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan. (4) Guru Fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura telah memiliki upaya dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional siswa. Namun, upaya-upaya tersebut belum optimal diterapkan karena permasalahan waktu dan padatnya materi pembelajaran.Kata Kunci : Interaksi Edukatif, Model Pembelajaran, Kecerdasan Emosional This study aimed at, (1) describing the educational interaction of physics teacher on physics learning, (2) describing the impact of learning models towards the educational interaction of physics teacher, (3) describing the tips of physics teacher in giving physics education to the students, (4) describing the physics teacher efforts to educate the students in emotional intelligence aspect. Qualitative approach was used in this study. The informants of this study were physics teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura, and data were collected by using documentation techniques, interviews, and observations of learning physics. The result of this study shows that: (1) educational interaction of physics teacher in SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura is in good category which is marked by the appearance of the components and characteristics of educational interaction. However, there are still some components and features that have not been optimally implemented by the physics teacher. (2) Learning model has an impact on the educational interaction which is indicated by the difference interaction of each learning model used by physics teachers at SMAN 1 Amlapura. (3) Physics teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura has some tips in educating the students in aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. (4) Physics teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura has had efforts in developing emotional intelligence of students, but they have not been optimally implemented because of time problem and the dense of learning materials.keyword : Educational Interaction, Learning Models, Emotional Intelligence

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan profil konsep diri siswa, (2) mendeskripsikan profil kepribadian siswa, (3) mendeskripsikan profil persepsi siswa, dan (4) mengetahui pola hubungan antara konsep diri, kepribadian dan persepsi siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik proposive sampling berjumlah 15 orang siswa yang berada di kelas XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. Data konsep diri, kepribadian, dan persepsi terhadap mata pelajaran fisika dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner, observasi, wawancara, dan triangulasi data. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri siswa kelas XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja dalam pembelajaran fisika cenderung berkategori tinggi yang ditandai dengan munculnya aspek-aspek konsep diri yaitu a) konsep diri akademik, b) konsep diri fisik dan c) konsep diri sosial, profil kepribadian siswa kelas XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja dalam pelajaran fisika, cenderung extrovert yang ditandai dengan munculnya aspek 1) Activity, 2) Sosiability, 3) Riskt aking, 4) Impulsiveness, 5) Expressivenes, 6) Reflectiveness, dan 7) Responsibility, dan persepsi siswa kelas XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja cenderung menunjukkan persepsi yang positif terhadap matapelajaran fisika yang ditandai dengan munculnya aspek 1) pandangan, 2) pengharapan, 3) evaluasi. Sedangkan pola hubungan kualitatif antara konsep diri, kepribadian, dan persepsi siswa diperoleh pola hubungan yang relevan.Kata Kunci : konsep diri, kepribadian, persepsi. This research aimed at describing the student’s self-concept profile, describing the student’s personality profile, describing the student’s perception profile, and knowing the relationship among the student’s self-concept, personality, and perception in physics subject. The method of the research was descriptive-qualitative method. Sample used in the research were 15 students of class XI MIA 5 in SMAN 4 Singaraja. Data of self-concept, student’s personality, and student’s perception were successively collected by using questionnaires, observations, interviews, and triangulation of data. The result of the research shows that the self-concept profile of class XI MIA 5 in SMAN 4 Singaraja in physics subject is in “High” category, is chacateriszed by the invisibility the aspect of self-concept, namely a) academic self-concept b) physical self-concept and c) social self-concept; the student’s personality profile of class XI MIA 5 in SMAN 4 Singaraja in physics subject tends to lead to the personality of extrovert type, is chacateriszed by the invisibility the aspect of aspect personality are 1) Activity, (2) Sosiability, (3) Riskt aking, (4) Impulsiveness, (5) Expressivenes, (6) Reflectiveness, and (7) Responsibility; the student’s perception of class XI MIA 5 in SMAN 4 Singaraja in the physics subject is at “postive” category, is chacateriszed by the invisibility the aspect of perception are (1) the view (2) expectations (3) evaluation. Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh: kemampuan bertanya, kemampuan mengkomu-nikasikan, percaya diri, dan kebiasaan belajar siswa yang masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan: (1) implementasi pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran fisika, (2) kemampuan saintifik siswa, (3) percaya diri siswa, dan (4) kebiasaan belajar siswa kelas X MIA 5 dan X MIA 6 di SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X dan guru fisika yang mengajar di kelas X. Sampel penelitian yaitu seorang guru fisika yang mengajar di kelas X MIA 5 dan X MIA 6 dengan 86 orang siswa kelas X MIA 5 dan X MIA 6. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu: (1) pedoman wawancara dan observasi pendekatan saintifik, (2) tes kemampuan saintifik, (3) kuesioner percaya diri, dan (4) kuesioner kebiasaan belajar. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) implementasi pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran fisika yang diterapkan guru sudah sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum 2013, (2) kemampuan saintifik siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 79,91 yang berkategori baik, (3) percaya diri siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 105,28 yang berkategori tinggi, dan (4) kebiasaan belajar siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 107,35 yang berkategori tinggi.Kata Kunci : Kebiasaan Belajar, Kemampuan Saintifik, Pendekatan Saintifik, dan Percaya Diri. This study was constituted by: the ability to ask, ability to communicate, confidence, and learning habits of students which are still low. This study aimed at describing: (1) the implementation of scientific approach in learning physics, (2) the scientific ability of the students, (3) the student’s confidence, and (4) the learning habits of students at class X MIA 5 and class X MIA 6 of SMAN 4 Singaraja. The type of this research was descriptive study. The sample of this research used purposive random sampling technique. Populations of this study were students at class X and the teacher who teach in that class. Sample of this study were a teacher who teach physics in class X MIA 5 and X MIA 6 with 86 students of class X MIA 5 and X MIA 6. The instruments of the study were (1) interview guidance and scientific approach observation, (2) scientific ability test, (3) confidence questionnaire, and (4) learning habits questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results show that: (1) the implementation of scientific approach in teaching physics applied by teacher is in accordance with the steps of the scientific approach in curriculum 2013, (2) the average score of the student’s scientific ability is 79.91 which is categorized “good”, (3) The average score of the student’s confidence is 105.28 which is categorized “high”, and (4) the average score of the students' learning habit is 107.35 which is categorized “high”.keyword : Confidence, Learning Habits, Scientific Ability, Scientific Approach.
