Abstract

Artificial intelligence is a technology designed to help humans with their work. This technology is sophisticated and as similar as possible to how humans work. Artificial intelligence now plays an important role in all areas of life, including education. The world of education and artificial intelligence is closely tied because of its effective and efficient nature in assisting teaching and learning activities. Not only teachers, but students are also increasingly using artificial intelligence to help solve problems and even do assignments. With the existence of artificial intelligence, students are increasingly facilitated in getting information about lessons, one of which is in history lessons. So it is not uncommon for students to prefer to find information through artificial intelligence applications rather than reading books. This study was conducted to measure how influential artificial intelligence is in reducing students' interest in reading.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy e-comic is a type of digital comic designed to teach readers letters and numbers. It is beneficial for improving reading and counting skills as well as the ability to understand information through a more engaging and interactive medium. The purpose of this research is to study the potential of e-comics to improve literacy and numeracy as well as the benefits and problems associated with using them in formal and informal education. The study used literature and a qualitative approach. The results show that e-comics can serve as an effective and engaging learning tool to improve literacy and numeracy, both inside and outside the classroom. The emergence of various e-comics platforms also opens up new opportunities to improve literacy and numeracy through story customization, interactivity and user engagement.

Abstract

In the use of Artificial Intelligence in Graphic Design which has a positive and negative impact on designers. Some of the benefits felt by graphic designers who use Artificial Intelligence are in the efficiency and speed of the design process, as well as AI can provide advice and assistance in enhancing design creativity, and can also assist in adjusting the Ai user reference itself through analyzing the data provided by the designer. AI can also have a negative impact, which can provide concern where AI can replace the role of the designer himself. In addition, it has an impact on the quality of design which can potentially reduce the value of design services. The use of AI can increase the risk of plagiarism in the work produced. In the art element, the use of AI is often considered less original because it only relies on modifying existing images. It is not a more in-depth creative process. Therefore, designers need to balance the use of AI technology, to maintain creativity in their work. The purpose of this research as a graphic designer is to analyze how the impact of graphic design production if it uses Artificial Intelligence which is very rapidly developing today.

Abstract

Knowledge and experience are two things that cannot separate; they are connected and form an inseparable unity. Knowledge has two important things: invisible knowledge based on experience and visible knowledge based on competency development. This article is a complete concept of how we can gradually improve our performance, and at each stage, there will be steps to improve this. Furthermore, this article complements previous research published, namely Development of Mentoring Management in Producing High-Quality Human Resources at University Level in Facing the Asean Economic Community (MEA) Using the Concept of Kiyosaki - Blanchard Abcd Trust Methods-Hsova. This article will discuss improving seven indicators: Strategy, Structure; Systems; Culture; Staff; Style, and Global Goals. Of course, these seven indicators are very important to discuss because, at each level, a standard will give to improve performance and systematic steps so that performance can improve stably but flexibly. The other side is the seven levels: stage 1 Uncontrolled; stage 2 The fundamentals; stage 3 The development; stage 4 Integrated; stage 5 Good University; stage 6 The Best University; stage 7 Global University. The results of this article are the maturity level of e-learning and the maturity level of the university.

Abstract

Lancang Kuning University (Unilak) has committed to the success of the disability-friendly Inclusive Indonesia movement program, by providing opportunities for students with disabilities to study at Lancang Kuning University. Delivering Islamic religious lecture material in inclusion classes requires special attention. So by using qualitative research methods, based on direct observation in the classroom and through journals, guide books and expert information, the use of multimedia is very necessary for inclusive classes. Among the media used for learning Islamic Religious Education are; Two-Dimensional Learning Media such as; powerpoint or slide, whiteboard, module book, three-dimensional learning media such as; Equipment for holding corpses and practicing prayer movements, learning media in the form of applications such as applications that can convert sound into writing. Apart from appropriate learning media and various religion lecturers, they also need to master this multimedia and also need to learn to use sign language for the deaf. For supporting facilities, Unilak has provided all sufficient facilities so that inclusion classes at Unilak run well.

Abstract

The increasingly advanced development of technology is currently a challenge for companies to create and develop information systems that are implemented in the company. The use of computers equipped with application programs can help improve company performance, such as in trading companies. Where the sales sector has an important role in increasing the progress of the company, because it is related to the income that the company can obtain. Besides that, sales is also directly related to customers, where good service is very necessary to create customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a good information system for the sales information system. However, looking at current conditions, there are still many companies or places of business where data processing is still done traditionally. If this continues, it can cause problems that can be detrimental to the company. As for problems that arise, such as data processing which still uses handwriting, this is very prone to recording errors. Besides that, it often happens that sales reports are created that are not the same as existing transactions. These problems should be resolved immediately, by developing the information system. So that companies can survive amidst the current competition. In solving the problem, the right method is needed, such as using the Waterfall model. Where this model is carried out in stages and sequentially. By using the right model, the right program application can be produced, according to what the company needs. So that problems that arise can be resolved well, customers get satisfaction from the services provided and company profits increase.

Abstract

Accurate crowd counting is crucial in public spaces such as shopping malls to ensure safety and optimize resource management. This article explores the use of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), specifically a modified VGG16 architecture, for real-time crowd counting in shopping mall environments. Using a dataset collected from various crowd scenarios, the model was trained and tested using evaluation metrics such as Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). The results indicate that the proposed model is effective, achieving higher accuracy compared to traditional methods, thanks to advanced feature extraction techniques. This research offers a robust and scalable solution to enhance security and improve crowd management in commercial spaces.
