Abstract

This classroom action research was aimed at (1) improving the students’ learning results in KKPI subject of class X.AP.C of SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja through the implementation of e-module as hypertext-based processing number and (2) investigating the students’ responses of class X.AP.C of SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja toward the implementation of e-module as hypertext-based processing number in KKPI subject. This study was a Classroom Action Research which consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four steps namely planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The subject of this study was the students of class X.AP.C of SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja in academic year 2011/2012. The class consisted of 40 students. Meanwhile, the objects of this study were (1) students’ learning results and (2) students’ responses toward the implementation of e-module as hypertext-based processing number in KKPI subject. The data of students’ learning results in KKPI subject were collected through the test and observation and the data of students’ responses were collected through questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The result of this study showed that the students’ learning results got improvement. In cycle 1, the mean of students’ scores was 74.89 and the percentage of students’ classical success was 70%. In cycle 2, the mean of students’ scores was 78.08 and the percentage of students’ classical success was 85%. Besides, the students’ responses toward the implementation of e-module as hypertext-based processing number in KKPI subject were positive with a mean of 60.05. Abstract

The classroom action research (CAR) was aimed at 1) improving the students’ activity through The Implementation of Cooperative Learning of Numbered Head Together; 2) improving the students’ learning results through The Implementation of Cooperative Learning of Numbered Head Together; 3) to know students’ responses towards through The Implementation of Cooperative Learning of Numbered Head Together. NHT has four stages, namely: the numbering (numbering), the questioning (questioning), to think together (heads together) and giving the answer (answering).The current research was a CAR in which the subjects of the study were the class VII A students of SMP Saraswati Singaraja at the academic year 2011/2012 with the object of the study being the students’ activity to learn, their learning results and students responses in the standard of competence to practice basic computer skills. Data collection activities using observation sheets, the learning to use the test results of quizzes, worksheets and tests student evaluation, students’ responses using a questionnaire. The learning activity data were collected using observation sheets, student learning outcome data obtained through the tests quizzes, group worksheet and evaluation tests. As for the student response data retrieval using a questionnaire. The results showed that: 1) there was increased activity of student learning outcomes, it can be seen from the average yield earned on learning activity cycle of 12.5 with a category I active enough while in the second cycle of 15.2 with the active category; 2) the average grade has increased by 20% ie from 68 in cycle I to 86 in the second cycle to complete qualifications, while the classical completeness of the cycle I increased by 39% to 86% in cycle II; 3) students’ response to the application of cooperative learning model of NHT on the subjects of ICT, especially in the standard of competence to practice basic computer skills is positive with an average of 44.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam kompetensi dasar mengidentifikasi berbagai perangkat lunak program aplikasi dan mengidentifikasi kegunaan dari beberapa program aplikasi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Advance Organizer, 2) mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Advance Organizer dalam kompetensi dasar mengidentifikasi berbagai perangkat lunak program aplikasi dan mengidentifikasi kegunaan dari beberapa program aplikasi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dimana subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VII J SMP Negeri 2 Tabanan pada tahun ajaran 2011- 2012 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 40 orang. Jumlah siswa laki-laki sebanyak 20 orang dan 20 orang jumlah siswa perempuan. Objek penelitian berupa hasil belajar siswa dan respon siswa dalam kompetensi dasar mengidentifikasi berbagai perangkat lunak program aplikasi dan mengidentifikasi kegunaan dari beberapa program aplikasi. Data hasil belajar siswa diperoleh melalui tes kognitif, lembar observasi psikomotor dan lembar observasi afektif. Sedangkan untuk respon siswa, data di kumpulkan menggunakan angket. Pada penelitian siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 71,3, daya serap siswa 71,3%, sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 77,5%. Pada penelitian siklus II diperoleh informasi terjadinya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, terbukti dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I 71,3 menjadi 83,9 pada siklus II, daya serap siswa 71,3% pada siklus I menjadi 83,9% pada siklus II dengan kualifikasi tuntas, sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 77,5% menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan angket respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Advance Organizer pada mata pelajaran TIK khususnya dalam kompetensi dasar mengidentifikasi berbagai perangkat lunak program aplikasi dan mengidentifikasi kegunaan dari beberapa program aplikasi adalah positif dengan rata-rata sebesar 42,4.

Abstract

Bali merupakan sebuah daerah yang memiliki berbagai macam kebudayaan. Salah satunya adalah sistem penulisannya menggunakan aksara Bali. Aksara Bali banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari – hari yaitu digunakan untuk keperluan penulisan naskah suci peninggalan sejarah, penulisan nama jalan, serta digunakan dalam bidang agama yaitu dalam pelaksanaan upacara adat Bali. Namun walaupun penggunaan aksara Bali sangat penting dalam kehidupan di Bali, saat ini sangat sedikit orang yang mampu menulis dengan aksara Bali. Untuk membantu dalam memahami penulisan menggunakan aksara Bali maka dilakukanlah penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplemantasikan sebuah aplikasi text to digital image converter untuk dokumen aksara Bali. Perangkat lunak ini hanya menangani proses konversi untuk aksara wianjana saja. Proses mengkonversi dari dokumen dalam bentuk huruf Latin menjadi gambar dokumen aksara Bali dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap pertama menghitung panjang karakter dokumen yang diinputkan. Tahap kedua memecah dokumen yang diinpukan menjadi suku kata. Tahap ketiga yaitu melakukan pengecekan jika terdapat suku kata asing yang ditemukan pada proses memecah suku kata, maka akan dirubah kedalam ejaan aksara Bali. Tahap keempat menentukan posisi dari suku kata tersebut apakah termasuk posisi talawia (atas), murdania (tengah), dantia (bawah). Tahap keempat yaitu memcocokkan antara suku kata dengan gambar aksara Bali yang telah disimpan sebelumnya dalam sebuah folder. Tahap terakhir adalah penempatan gambar aksara Bali sesuia dengan posisi gambar aksara Bali tersebut.   Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi text to digital image converter untuk dokumen aksara Bali. Perangkat lunak ini dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman Borland Delphi 7.0. Perangkat lunak ini juga diimplementasikan dan telah diujicobakan pada sistem operasi berbasis Windows.

Abstract

This research aimed at: (1) designing the application of hospital service based on SMS gateway at general hospital in Buleleng regency; (2) implementing the application of hospital service based on SMS gateway at general hospital in Buleleng regency. The output of this system would be an application which gives health services to the patients or other people about medical check-up schedule of the outpatients, doctor’s present list in the hospital, information of the patients’ room, and information about health support like health education, social services and information about government health programs (ASKES, JKBM, and Jamkesmas).  In designing this application used Waterfall Method, or as known as Classic Life Cycle Model. This Waterfall Model is a classic model which systematic or consecutively in constructing software. This model consists of several stages. Those are (1) requirements definition, (2) system and software design, (3) implementation and unit testing, (4) integration and system testing, and (5) operation and maintenance.   The result of this study is the application of hospital service based on SMS gateway which was implemented with PHP, MySQL as the database server and Gammu as the tool server of SMS Gateway. The result of the test that had been done showed that this application run well as expected. With the presence of this application, public services at general hospital in Buleleng regency were increased. The patients or other people were easy to get up-to-date information from the hospital through their cell phone.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research was aimed at: 1) increasing students' critical thinking skills through IMPROVE learning model, 2) improving students’ learning outcomes through IMPROVE learning model, 3) describing the response of students to the IMPROVE learning model. This study was a Class Action Research (PTK), the place of the research was in SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja and was implemented in semester 2 in academic year 2011/2012.  The subjects of research were the students in grade VIII B1 of SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja in Academic Year 2011/2012 with the objects of research were in the form of critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. Data of the critical thinking skills were collected using observation sheets, for student learning outcomes data were collected through the learning result test, while for the students’ response data retrieved using the enclosed questionnaire. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive analysis.          The result of the research showed that: (1) the increasing in the average students' critical thinking skills in information and communication technology subject from cycle I was 9,66 with a high qualification became 12,41 with a very high qualification in cycle II, (2) The student learning outcomes have increased from cycle I at 73,5 became 89,83 in cycle II. The classical completeness in cycle I at 68,75% increased to 100% cycle II, (3) The response of students to the IMPROVE learning models in ICT subjects were at a very positive qualification with an average of 49.97

Abstract

This study aimed: (1) to design the application to translate Indonesian language to Balinese language by using rule based method. (2) to implement the application to translate Indonesian language to Balinese language by using rule based method. In the design and implementation, researcher used a rule based method that has 4 stages, there are: (1) Parsing Text, (2) Stemming, (3) Searching of the meaning word, and (4) Rule Matching. The input from this application is Indonesian language text, while the output is Balinese language text. The testing process used the blacx box testing (functionality) and the white box testing (conceptual / structural). The result of this study is Indonesian language to Balinese language translation application named “Translator Indo-Bali” which is implemented using the Delphi 7 programming language. Based on trial result, it is known that the “Translator Indo-Bali” has done the translation from Indonesian language to the Balinese language well. So it can be concluded that the “Translator Indo-Bali” can assist people in learning the Balinese language.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar TIK siswa kelasVIII G SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipeGroup Investigation. (2) meningkatkan aktivitas siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 2Singaraja melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigationdalam pembelajaran TIK. (3) mengetahui respon siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 2Singaraja terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigationdalam pembelajaran TIK. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK)dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) yang dilaksanakandi SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri2 Singaraja pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Objek penelitian ini adalahdata hasil belajar, aktivitas dan respon siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah teskognitif, tes unjuk kerja, lembar obervasi dan angket respon.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipeGroup Investigation dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 2Singaraja. Peningkatan tersebut dapat ditunjukan dari rata-rata aktivitas di Siklus I 77,7dengan kategori Aktif, meningkat menjadi 82,4 dengan kategori Sangat Aktif padaSiklus II. (2) Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation dapatmeningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. Pada siklus Irata-rata hasil belajar siswa 74,06 dan ketuntasan klaksikal 67.65% dengan kategoriTidak Tuntas dan pada siklus II rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 85,6, ketuntasanklaksikal kelas 79.4% dengan kategori Tuntas. (3) Penerapan model pembelajarankooperatif tipe Group Investigation mendapatkan respon yang positif dari siswa kelasVIII G SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja dalam pembelajaran TIK dengan rata-rata 45,5.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar KKPI siswa  dan (3) mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi Practice-Rehearsal Pairs (Praktik Berpasangan).  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang melibatkan subjek 32 siswa kelas XTB4 pada semester 2 SMK Negeri 2 Tabanan tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Tindakan dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 kali pertemuan dan 1 kali tes akhir siklus. Penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas, lembar observasi aspek afektif, lembar observasi aspek psikomotor, tes akhir siklus untuk mengukur aspek kognitif dan lembar angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa yang di analisis secara deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Aktivitas siswa dengan rata-rata 8,4 yang berkategori sedang pada siklus I, menjadi 11,6 berkategori aktif pada siklus II.  Hasil belajar siswa dari refleksi awal, siklus I ke siklus II meningkat. Ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 38,32% pada refleksi awal menjadi 81,25% pada siklus I, dan meningkat menjadi 93,75% pada siklus II. Persentase peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal dari refleksi awal ke Siklus II mencapai 55,52%. Respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi Praktik Berpasangan pada Mata Pelajaran KKPI di kelas adalah positif. Skor rata-rata respon siswa adalah 78,25 dengan kategori positif.

Abstract

This research was aimed at (1) improving the students’ learning results in TIK subject of class VII E SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan through the implementation of make a match models (2) improving the students’ learning activeness in TIK subject of class VII E SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan through the implementation of make a match models  (3) investigating the students’ response of class VII E SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan toward the implementation of make a match models in TIK subject.The design of the research was a Classroom Action Research which consisted of two cycles.  Each cycle consisted of four steps namely planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The subject of this research was the students of class VII E SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan in academic year 2011/2012. The class consisted of 35 students.  Meanwhile, the objects of this research were (1) students’ learning results (2) students’ learning activeness (3) students’ response toward the implementation of    make a match models in TIK subject. The data of students’ learning results in TIK subject were collected through the test and observation, data of students’ learning activeness in TIK subject were collected trough the observation, and the data of students’ response were collected through questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis.Based on the analysis of data obtained, this research showed that the students’ learning results got improvement. Cycle I, the mean of students’ scores was 67 and the percentage of students’ classical success was 71%, as for cycle 2, the mean of students’ scores was 80 and the percentage of students’ classical success was 91%. The students’ learning activeness got improvement, in cycle I the mean of students’ scores was 50 and for cycle 2, the mean of students’ scores was 61. The students’ responses toward the implementation of make a match models in TIK subject come in positive category with a mean of 84%.
